I have tried searching but cannot find the answer to this simple question. How do I resize all my slides in PTE to the same size. After some trimming I get the dark edge effect and this is what I want to remove. Minor enlargement is unlikely to effect the image quality.

Managed to find the Comment box on the top tool bar but when I select the drop down option all I get is 'insert text template'. I tried putting in the font name and all that did was add it to the image. So I am no nearer setting the font and colour for the total AV

Sorry guys I am not with you. I am using 10.5 Beta 22 build 3 for mac and am unable to find any of the screens you show. Can you give me the paths to find those screens please.

I have set a font and colour applied to all slides in the Project Options. Yet when I am in a slide and add a caption I have each time to set the font and colour. I do not seem able to set the font for this AV to apply to all slides irrespective of the narrative I type.

I am due to run an AV comp. The entries have on the main been sent to me via We transfer. I have discovered that when loading these files onto my Mac the file opens but I get a black screen yet the music plays. I could not accept Exe files as when I want to show the at a Zoom meeting the mac refuses to play an exe file. This I was aware of hence asking for entries to be in Mpeg format.
A state of panic ensues. -

With the help of Igor I am in Beta 22 build 3 and cmd 3 does take me to the slide in Photoshop.

Igor when I use command W the slide opens in Preview not Photoshop which is where I want it for adjustment etc.

Dave I must be dense.
When I click on the open icon at the end of the Choose graphic editor it takes me to the I mac applications box which just has a file for Photoshop 2021. Opening that I selected generator but got no where. Are you able to advise this newish Mac user where to go next please?The green shots below show where I have gone and the result.

Does not work on my Mac perhaps there should be something before Applications

I followed what Macian suggested. I followed his string but it seemed to make no difference. When in v10 (beta 21) I select a slide in the slide view then go to Slide in the top menu and the only option that seems right to me is change image file. When I am in v9(windows) I can go to Slide and one of the options I get is Edit file . This is what works directly with Photoshop

Hi Macian I am still struggling with this. I go to applications on my Mac running Big Sur 11.1 select adobe photoshop 2021 in column 1 and also Adobe Photoshop 2021 in column 2 then in column 3 is the option to open Photoshop. Having done that it seems to make no difference to PTE beta 21.

In my old version 9 (windows) I could go directly to photoshop to edit any individual slide and the saved version would then appear in PTE. This does not seem to be available in the 10(mac) version. Or am I missing something?

Yes it is my apologies. I still do not know how to go from Bata 13 to photoshop without coming out of PTE and then into Photoshop.

in pte 9 i could click on a slide and go to photoshop to make adjustments. the saved image was then copied back into pte duly amended. i do not seem able to do this in beta 15 mac

On my Windows PTE v9 I can click on a slide and under slide in the top menu make alterations to that slide in photoshop. When the slide is saved the amended slide reopens in Pte duly corrected.
This does not seem to be an option in the Mac beta 13 version.

my version of pte 10 stalls when i want to make an mp4 version. any ideas why.

My query is what activation code do I use to activate the beta version. I don't want to pay for the full if my previous editions of PTE entitle me to an upgrade.

I have dragged a Wav file onto the music frame and only get a straight line not the wave form. This makes editing to the music very difficult. Is there a solution.
