You are right for all ! (with the PC, you look in 720x... - With the TV you look with the suitable resolution). But it's better to look with a 100HZ TV.

Welcome to the forum ! All the updates are free. You download the newest version and install it (replace the old version). Your key is always found (it's automatic when you install). But, don'f forget to save your bought key (CD or other disk).

Welcome to the forum, Rick ! For the the .mp3 file, you must to check the original file and the encoding. Me, I don't like the .wma (sometimes problems with it). I prefer to use an excellent .wav or a MP3 (192 kbps) file before to burn the DVD. Can you try with another file ? (use a .wav file and encode it in MP3 with "Lame" encoder). NB: - no problem with our DVD and the sound - perhaps also a problem with the burning or the DVD - it's possible also you don't hear the popping on your PC (sound card quality or speakers quality)

Invision is working now to solve all. But, it's a good thing to post all the found problems: it will be passed to Invision. Code, quote, url, Upload avatar, form (s, u...), attached image and other with sql... In a few days or before..

To read a slideshow from a CD is not a good thing (because of different problems). If you take your CD and you copy the slideshow to your hard disk, then play, is it OK ?

This version 2.1.1 is a new version (with certain small bugs, I think) and the update gives problems because also the old version was the 1.... Some people works on it, and please, be patients: this forum will be more "improved" with a good security. This update is a major upgrade as PTE from 3.60 to 5.0 , but in a only one time !

You use a picture of you, then you resize it in (example) 70x70 and you save it (or save for the web) as myimage.gif or myimage.jpg. Then you upload it on your website and put the link in your profile. An Avatar symbolize a man who "surf" in a virtual world.

Perhaps Barry will answer for that. When we look at this slideshow with a display 1280x1024, the border around permit to emphasize the picture on the background. This border is very small and is in the way for me. But for a projector, it's another problem I think.

PixBuilder contains the most of functions necessary to obtain perfect pictures with PTE or for us. It's essential only in 1.25mb ! And now the challenge wil be improve more. No doubt .
