  1. Excuse me: 1. Shouldn't this be in another section of this forum? 2. I thought this forum was about PTE.
  2. Very effective - a nice technique and another novel application for PTE. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  3. An impressive show - isn't PTE wonderfully versatile.
  4. Glad to be able to help.
  5. Just for interest - photoshop CS has the provision to automatically save each layer to a new file.
  6. Really nice, Alan. I guessed the music before viewing - it couldn't really be anything else, could it? I liked the simplicity of the opening and closing credits which seemed ideally suited to Lowry's style. The only thing I would change is to reduce the number of transition effects used in order to let the eye adjust the the pictures themselves. But this is only a very minor grouse. As Ken says - "It's a keeper". Thanks for sharing.
  7. It's very effective - thanks for sharing.
  8. Thanks for highlighting this show Peter. A must!
  9. Thanks Maureen - that's a very nice technique for the "travelling presenter".
  10. I'm with Al on this - monitors and projectors display pixels. If you've got the right number of pixels, it'll be fine. Forget that 72 nonsense.
  11. I'm looking forward to reading what others make of this. It left me feeling bemused and not wanting to look again. Sorry.
  12. Sorry Maureen. The button works but the individual shows return a "page not found error".
  13. This is an excellent presentation - a moving story supported by wonderful photography and an evocative sound track. An absolute must for anybody who wants to found out "how it ought to be done". Congratulations Ron and thanks for publicising it Dave.
  14. Well said, Igor.
  15. Try looking here for some basic advice: http://www.bishopthorpe-camera-club.com/Re...ces/goodies.htm Essentially, your images are far too big (too many pixels) for an average projector/vdu that is often 1024 x 768 pixels. The actions on the above site take the donkey work out of converting.
  16. Thanks for letting us know - I'm pleased it did so well.
  17. Now I'm really intrigued. Can't wait to see what you have in the pipeline.
  18. I've now seen the show and must say how good it is - excellent photography, nicely displayed. I was a little dubious about the tiny signature mark on each image but soon learned to ignore them. The end (credits) sequence was very well done.
  19. Thanks Ken - I'm on Bill's list - must have missed this one!
  20. "I had have a very good time to make Circle of Nature" I'm glad you've enjoyed this - where can we view the show?
  21. I'm typing this on a machine running the same version of windows as you - PTE works fine on this machine. IMHO your problems are specific to your machine - it sounds as though it needs some TLC from an expert.
  22. Oddly enough, I too wondered where you had gone.
  23. To quote a well-known tennis player "you cannot be serious"? From anywhere else you'd be paying three figures or such good software and support.
  24. Excellent tutorials - thank you for these.
  25. I sympathise with the poet's sentiments entirely. (But don't tell the wife).
