pixelfuxx Posted September 21 Report Posted September 21 Hello, i'm building my first live presentation with PTE AV Studio at the moment and it works really well. One feature i'd love to see, but could not find is a live presentation mode, where i can see what slide will come next. It would be great if we could have a special view on a second screen. Is there already anything like this, or should this topic be moved to the feature suggestion section? If i would come up with a wishlist, it would be: Start live presentation from PTE AV Studio Choose main screen and second screen Main screen shows the presentation Second screen shows: Current slide Upcoming slide nice to have: Timer Annotations to a slide Cheers Quote
Tonton Bruno Posted Thursday at 01:22 PM Report Posted Thursday at 01:22 PM For 20 years, my wife and I have been giving art history lectures using PTE. Our dream would have been to be able to control the projection from our laptop, with our notes in a PTE window. 1 Quote
jt49 Posted yesterday at 06:08 PM Report Posted yesterday at 06:08 PM It really is a pity that PTE is missing some crucial functions for live presentations. For preview and notes (as requested by Bruno), I use a workaround: Preview images and notes are on PDF documents, and I open these documents (using a portable version of SumatraPDF) via the Run command in the slide options using scripts for NirCmd. I hope that time will come with new versions of PTE, and with enhanced support for live presentations. Quote
Igor Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Hi, Thanks for your suggestion. I like this idea. Give us time to think about this function. Are there any examples of apps that implement this function? Quote
jt49 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Typical candidates for producing AV-Shows and offering speaker support are Wings X, and m.objects. Speaker support includes preview of images and notes for the speaker, and asynchronous audio that can be played during sections with manual control. Quote
