  1. Ken, What is "plain jane" ? Thanks.
  2. Two other little suggestions for a future version : - a time ruler in % above the O/A timeline - a balloon help for time keypoints (sometimes some of them are so close that you can see what their time is) Igor, please, tell me if those constant suggestions bother you and if you would prefer that I make them after the final release...
  3. Or even "PZRCO" to include "Center" ! (same abbreviations in french too)
  4. Ken, Thank you very much for those very interesting links. Ron, I didn't find 'One Page Menu' tutorial' on your website. And will your pdf tutorial on the 'PTE Organisor' be free ?
  5. Hi Merlin, May be I'm wrong but I think Igor already answer your question (before you ask it). See post #2.
  6. Ebenist, I had a look at your show. Nicely done. I don't know if it was your purpose, but I think that this kind of moving route is interesting only if you give the spectator the impression to "travel". Adding a under layer movement and some pictures is a nice improvement. Even if your map is cut to close to the route progress to be nicely done (you should keep the progress in the middle of the show), here is what I made with your show to improve it. (Hope you don't mind ) And you could add a dot or better, a small boat... and everything you can think of. It only takes time to do it.
  7. Hahaha, yes and last time I saw her, she was complaining about it !
  8. Lin, I can compare the first one and this new version. You've definitely improved it. Excellent !
  9. IMHO, the nicest way to add a sound in the O/A window would be the ability to associate it with a keypoint. But I suggest to speak about it after the v5 final release.
  10. Sorry Hawk, I didn't see it before. Very impressive result anyway. Thanks !
  11. Too bad you didn't include the .exe. I'm at work right now (lunch time ) and I have to wait for tomorrow night to watch it (I'm out tonight). Thanks anyway for sharing.
  12. What a beautiful show ! The use of the new features are really appropriate and done with a lot of creativity. It's really a perfect example of what can be done. I think it give us excellent ideas on how to dynamise our slideshows without over-using pan/zoom/rotate features. We're not allowed to publish boring slideshows anymore. Thank you very much for sharing Jean-Pierre !
  13. Hi Lin, I'm afraid to understand why you're talking about the devil ! Does each star correspond to an object ? And what effect did you use to give the impression that they shine ? An other question : what does the kind of "rope" (appears and disappears after a couple of seconds) in the middle of your show correspond to ?
  14. To help us to wait the final release , I think maybe it would be nice to make a little contest between us. The goal is not to be the best but to practice, to improve our skills, to share our work, and to give each other ideas for our future works. The theme could be a word, a picture or a sound (music or fx). And the show should last less than 1 minute. May be the theme of the first contest could be "PicturesToExe". So guys, what do you think ?
  15. Can't wait to see that. Up.
  16. Hi Barbara, It shouldn't but may be it's because of your hardware. What is your configuration ? And did you had a lot of objects with a lot of motion effects ? A very good torture test is the one Lin made : http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....indpost&p=29673 How does it play on your system ?
  17. Hi Ebenist, I think the ability to attach music to a slide will continue to be done in the "customize slide" window, "music" tab (and not in the o/a window). But as Igor said when he made this beta #2 avalaible, "It's a very earlier beta and it temporarily doesn't include many features and functions existed in previous versions." But it will in the final release of v5.
  18. Hi John, Lin described the way to do it (http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....indpost&p=29026) but nobody showed an example yet. Or may be you use an other method ? Anyway, very curious to see your roadmap in action. Thanks for uploading it.
  19. I think you're right Ron. See quote below. The beta #2 was released 1st May. The beta #3 should have been released two weeks ago if I trust Igor's message but I think we might be a little bit responsible for not being avalaible yet with our new suggestions. I guess Igor find out new difficulties and had a look how to implement our suggestions. Let us him concentrate on his actual TODO list. I don't know how many other betas are previewed before final release but even if we might have to wait, I am fully confident on the final result.
  20. Yes, I think we should stop asking for new requests, me first. And we will start again the "Igor can you do this" as soon as the v5 is released.
  21. There is now way to copy a keypoint of an object to an other object, right ? Thanks.
  22. Here is a nice website. There are thousands of cliparts (png format) with transparent bakground that can be freely used. The quality is medium but you can find very nice and usefull cliparts if you make a good search. Most of them are really small though. If you know other websites like this one but with bigger files, please let me know.
  23. An other alternative would be to upload the file thru a ftp client on your personnal space (most providers allow 100MB or more for their users) and send the link to this file in an email.
  24. Perfectly and obsolutely smooth on my system ! Thanks Lin.
