  1. You are right but it was more of an exercise to show what could be done with zooms and movement in comparison to the original as asked in the question.
  2. The question started me thinking and doing some experimenting. Firstly the original image/video/timelapse is very impressive. The video features multiple night scenes short videos from around the world. My video capture of a local lift bridge is no way near as impressive but hopefully you will get the idea based on my limited knowledge of PTE. The first half of the video shows the original drone circle of the bridge as shot on the day. The second half uses some PTE editing with zoom and tilts to give you an idea of the potential of PTE AV Studio with some relatively quick PTE editing created in a few hours. With a good quality video to start with initially, it may be possible to create a similar effect with more time and patience. Cheers Mark
  3. I will relook at it but the text was a balance between not covering the video and providing enough relevant information to the viewer. I had thought about leaving out the last paragraph as it is a global audience but in the end, left it in. May make another one for Youtube as I have several videos that could be included to expand this project.
  4. No Amazon has. Amazon is making huge staffing cuts and the site no longer fits its model or profit margins. Large corporations are brutal when it comes to a return on investment.
  5. Thanks Rosy certainly a valid point. I reduced the text content considerably. The video is about 1 minute and while I could have slowed it down, the optimal viewing time for other media is 1 minute. My solution after some consideration was that once it was a video, the viewer could stop the video playing at any time. Thanks for the feedback. Mark
  6. Found this little fella swimming in a pool at low tide on a beach walk near home. On looking around I found about 20 or so more in the same area. Video captured on the mobile held just above the water line. Made this tutorial using a "Text" tutorial from Barry Beckham which provided the answer to adding multiple Animated Texts and fading them before the next one appeared. Always room for improvement but happy with the result achieved. Cheers Mark
  7. I think Joe you are missing the number of "set" transitions in ProShow which I think was over 300. This combined with familiarity with the old application and patience in learning a new application does make for some frustration and a steep learning curve (sorry about the math reference). I too was a Proshow user before coming back to PTE. In saying that I feel PTE is a much better application now and you can "tailor" make your pan, zoom, and slide options and save them as a Theme/Style. This combined with the use of video in Objects and Animations as a background or slide gives a lot more flexibility. Once you get the hang of it you may try something new. Over time it does get easier and Barry Beckham's tutorials are a great asset. Cheers Mark
  8. Some drone images mixed with a timelapse video of wind blowing clouds across the sky. Ciao Mark

  9. Thanks to AI for putting this idea in my head - just need a backer. Cheers Mark
  10. A short Av showing some infrared images from a friend's garden that had a large selection of old cars as ornaments featured in the garden. I used a stock image of a media room as the background. Cheers Mark
  11. A short AV of images from a nearby National Park captured on the mobile phone without any editing. Cheers Mark
  12. Thanks Xenofex2 for commenting. In the old days, (slide AVs) a 3 - 5 minute show was the guideline to catch and hold the viewer's attention. Now with social media (Tik Tok and Instagram)and it seems to have gravitated back to around 1 minute in most instances. In saying all of that I photographed numerous rides on the day and 8,000 images in total and think the longest ride was 8 seconds. The AV helps slow down image screen time. Must do a few more one day when I get a chance.
  13. Thanks Bert, a video in some instances would have been less than 5 seconds. Even in slomo it would have less detail per frame but thanks for taking the time to comment.
  14. This Ibis was being fed by a parent bird while learning to balance in preparation of fledging from the rookery where it was hatched. Cheers Mark

  15. Some water droplet photography. The AV was not the intention for this shoot so movement in the background as lighting and other setting were tweaked. In saying that, I don't mind the effect as it adds to the sense of depth. Ciao Mark
  16. Thanks Alex, appreciate your comment. All were shot with the drone.

  18. These colourful birds nest in a bank. I was lucky enough to capture a parent feeding a chick inside the nest. Amazed at how they launch backward out of the nest. Cheers Mark

  23. Great work, lucky you to have such a wonderful model. I can appreciate the time and effort to make this - extremely well done. Congratulations.
  24. Thank you Kieron, glad you enjoyed it. The boats race over a designated course in around 1 minute or under. The RX10 IV shoots RAW files a little faster at 24.2 frames per second, and the Mark IV supports continuous autofocus at those speeds! Captured with a V90 card and it can buffer about 200 images in memory. On the day I shot about 8,000 images panning the action with the boat. This AV set comprises of about 640 images loaded into PTE AV 10 with an extremely short duration between each image about 0.25 seconds and no fade. This will give you a wide view of the course. This is another from 2019 before the RX10 IV using single images which have been edited and is similar to the Ken Burns Effect. One more as it is a great day out and go every year if I can when they race near me. Hope that helps. Mark
