Peter back in the late 3 early 4 versionms we were all amateurs some of us still are but we are having fun being able to try and help others struggle thru' Myself and others were burning shows to vhs tape then and they were well received even tho they were made by amateurs - some members were selling taped shows even gone are the good old days ken
  2. Peter thanks for jogging my memory - -I used to use that feature all the time - early 2000 but quit using with advent of vcd cause it is not shown on vcd/dvd also the tool bar does not show when shown on tv i used it to id the version etc of the show ken

  4. i dont have a gov/army pension:) been retired since Aug 31 93 bonuses and overtime stopped then for multiple sets you have to have that black box for each -- $$$$$$$$$$ just maintaining what i have is a chore I know you feel for us pensioners tho' ken
  5. DAVE some of us poor guys still got conventional tv's [9] and will have for some time - rent on cable boxes/convertors is expensive ken

In version 4.48 the tv safe zone is accessed by a check box in the object editor as the progran has evolved it is still accessed via the o/a button under the tools section when you energize video builder it is also available so you can make sure your text is not cut off I have mentioned on the forum to stay away from the r edge of the tv zone of the menu to avoid cutting off text ken
  8. FORGOT TO ADD i sent signal via svhs cable + audio feed to standard tv setup - quality great -- can only imagine what a dvd would be like in ws hdtv ken

Lin have since burned it to dvd tested same on onboard dvd player ran to end fine tried it on external usb dvd player and it kind of hickuped so cancelled same rather than have a reboot great action shots -- should be a seller to rodeo fans on dvd - maybe Barry has some royalty free CW music great trick riders as well ken
  10. Lin downloaded to an external usb drive in 1 hr 15 mins same plays fine will burn to dvd and see how it plays from internal dvd player great quality picts /sound ken

  20. Dave great show I can appreciate how much work you went thru - I was up once in a helicopter over Niagara Falls and once over our city -in a 4 seater Cessna - shot 35mm and 2 1/4" film with many cameras - no time to put film in real experience, thks for the upload ken

  23. the only version i have in the default folder is the original install -- i think 3.34 I make a fresh folder on a separate drive for each install - properly named and all shortcuts properly named imho this is the least confusing install method -- especially when you have a working version and the latest install is not to your liking you can always go back ken
