  1. Be interested to receive any constructive comments good or bad The photo's have been taken at the east anglian Medieval Fayre at Rougham Airfield Suffolk. I have added sound of crowds sword fighting galloping horses and music. Although rather long worth a look and think that this type of subject lends itself better to video. Regards Paul
  2. Hi Lin I have viewed your very own personal trip to the stars and what a journey it was, out of this world. The way the images were delt with was just right. Pans ,zooms and fades have been executed with great thought and perfect timing. I know the images have been taken from another source but this lifts the images to a higher visual level and brings an element of wonder & marvel to our universe. I have seen some of these images before but it's not until they have been treated in this way that the true impact of these images becomes apparent. I hope to view your show on our Camera club video projector soon ( if thats ok with you) Regarding space I have a show on Beechbrook that I put on about 4weeks ago called Planet Creation. This was done in pte 4.48 lasts about 2 mins and not so effective without the pans and zooms. I created all the images with the aibrush tool, layers and blend options in Photoshop and only used two photos in total. Oh by the way Lin, thanks for the tips on the best way to achieve better transitions. I have tried it and seems to be the answer to my problems. Regards Paul
  3. Just put a presentation on beechbrook. Although not the most interesting of subjects for a slide show it was a good subject to experiment with pte 5 beta #3 I still seem to have a few jerks and I struggle with exact timing on the transitions to make it flow. The timming of how long the image is on the screen and how the next image arrives on the screen is the key to a good presentation and think I still need to concentrate on this aspect However, I think it's worth a look Paul
  4. Hi Lin Just looked at your presentation and thought it was fantastic, and a great example of how we will be able to use the software. I have only done small shows at the moment with this version but not used it to it's full potential as you have. Some of the artwork you have photographed is stunning and have now viewed your show twice. Producing and restoring stone carvings for restoraion projects myself the subject you used does hold my interest. I have produced AV presentations of the work my company carries out for clients but not as advanced as yours and you have set a new standard for me to aim for. www.suffolkmasonry.co.uk Regards Paul Regards Paul
  5. Hi Ron Thank for you comments. I just looked at your HMS Glouster sequence ,very inventive. Not sure how it is possible to have the forground static and the plane animated. Is this done with layers and the plane moved 25frames every second across the background? Oh by the way Ron found your web site most interesting. I also have a website but nothing to do with photography it's to do with my work and you may find the trade I do different and a little interesting www.suffolkmasonry.co.uk Regards Paul
  6. I have just struggled to put together a sample presentation on beechbrook with pte 5 beta#2 . With many of the features not active (or am I unable to understand how to operate it) I felt frustrated trying to achieve what I was aiming for. However, I am excited with the great possibilities when the full version is available. Paul
  7. I am in the middle of my first attempt of a presentation in PTE 5 and have a problem with not being able to close the show down after the last slide. I have checked the box in options to carry out this function but no luck Can any one help please! Paul

    Thanks Ken
  9. Hi Help! can anyone tell me why when I set transitions to fade only and view it on the time line its ok, but when I preview it on screen the transitions change to circle transition. Being new to this type of thing I am amazed at the info and help that is available from you all and the constructive comments on created pte shows. Regards Paul
  10. Thank you for you comments Ron. Yes,The Shuttleworth colection is the place I took these images and of all the airfields and airshows Ihave attended in the Uk Iwould say this is the best place to get close for ground to air shots and the ideal position on the flight line regarding the light in that the sun is mostly behind you. Warning

I have also seen this as well and because I'am new to this site and this type of on line forum stuff I did start to go through the motions thinking I would have to pay but did realise it did'nt ring true. Thanks anyway. Paul
  12. I have just had my first two presentations put up on Breechbrook if any one is interested to view and comment good or bad constructive critecism I would be pleased. After looking at the fantastic work that you other veterans do I dot think I have a long way to go. It's not until you see other peoples work that you can judge the quality of ones own efforts. I have not tried anything with version 5 yet but have been trying to get my head around it and it does seem a giant leap forward in how we are able to present AV. Paul
  13. Thanks for your encouragment Bill. This may be a a strange question but how do I send or make a PTEC show accessible to you others for commment. Paul
  14. Thanks for your encouragment. I have made a short AV show some weeks ago that
  15. This is the first time I have been on any forum and many terms seem alien to me so please forgive me for my ignorance. Can any one tell me how I obtain pte 5 as I don't seem to be able to find it and you all seem to be working with it at the moment At present I am on 4.43 and have had great enjoyment in seeng my slide shows projected on to a screen. However, seeing the type of work that some of you do I feel at the bottom of the stack in terms of creativety at the moment.
