  1. That is clever! I like it Paul
  2. A boat trip Ria and I made in China and photo's taken from the top of these strange shaped mountains looking down on the town of Guilin in the evening as the sun sets. Also few shots of the Cormorant fishermen at night. Paul http://beechbrook.com/pte/
  3. Photo's taken at the pit location Xian China and put together to make a short slide show of this incredible collection of life size figures and chariots. The whole area was located in very poor lighting purposefully to protect any remaining colour on the figures which made it difficult to phograph. Nearly every one discovered was in many scattered pieces so all you see in this presentation have been painstakingly glued together The Terracotta Army was discovered in March 1974 by a farmer. (who I did see at the museum while in Xian) The Terracotta Army was found near the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, which took 38 years and 720,000builders to complete. The Terracotta Army was buried for 2,200 years. So far 1,868 terracotta warriors and chariots have been unearthed Paul http://beechbrook.com/pte/
  4. Very pleasant to view, nice photography and music as well. Although not much sun the overcast heavy clouds added to this presentation and would not have been as special with sunshine in my view. Paul
  5. The shots of the people inside the balloon silhouetted taken from outside created surreal ghostly shadows looked good and would make winning shots on there own if in a photo competition I think. Paul
  6. Nice one Barry! plus a very appropriate music track Paul
  7. Hi Ken sorry about the problem using 6.5
  8. After editing many photo's that I took in China I have now put together another presentation called "People Of China" which is a selection of images showing the Chinese people in their country doing their day to day work and participating in leisure. Any comments or criticisms are welcome. The show can be found on Beechbrook. Paul Direct link: People of China (added by Bill from Beechbrook)
  9. Thanks for you kind comments Andrew. However, I think we all look at our own efforts on occasions and feel we should have done it better or different. Paul
  10. Yes Ken! the show is colourful but I think it needs more attention to the content far too many roofs I think after looking at. Must have got rusty after so long in the wilderness. Paul
  11. Not done anything for over a year now in slide shows but been in China for two weeks in October and was amazed with the architecture in the Forbidden City and felt this could make a good subject for a slide show and and it can be accessed on Beechbrook. Paul
  12. What an excellent AV outstanding images brilliant sequences awesome narration & music very professional. Also it held my attention throughout Paul
  13. Brilliant Barry! Think you have shown the future from the past with Digital imagery in these stunning photographs from 1998 as I think they are way ahead of there time. I also get the impression you have a thing about hot air balloons if I’m not mistaken. Regards Paul
  14. Very pleasant to watch Andrew and your family must be delighted with this I’m sure. It all worked well, the music, the pace of the show and the length was spot on. Regards Paul
  15. I was fortunate to be the guest of the VW racing team for a day at the Snetterton race circuit in Norfolk. This gave me access to the Pitts, Paddocks, Grid, and the race garages which enable me to take a series of photo’s which I have put together to make this colourful presentation if nothing else. The show lasts just over 3minutes and have packed it full of images that’s why it’s such a large file. This maybe more for the enthusiast rather than for general viewing. Anyway, see what you think. http://www.mediafire.com/?g50myngg77862s9 Regards Paul
  16. Thanks for you complements and nice to know you enjoyed it. I corrected all the converging verticals with the use of the perspective correction tool in Photoshop I also used the warp tool as well to correct minor barrel distortion. All this helps to produce a better-finished image to use in the presentation. Regards Paul
  17. That may be true as well Phil but we must not judge all young people as being like that. Paul
  18. Nice colourful show and appropriate music I do like this book idea I must try it some time. Paul
  19. Thanks for you comments Birt and you have a point about the speed of the dissolves I had at one point made them longer but changed them to a shorter time span after a friend looked at it and felt they dragged on too long . It is difficult to judge how long the attention span is for different people to watch . I have noticed younger people prefer short transitions and this could be that they are able to absorb more information in a shorter time span. Thanks for you observations. Paul
  20. Glad you liked it David. You do seem to know this piece of music and thanks for enlightening me with the information on the original composer. Regards Paul
  21. This presentation of Lincoln Cathedral was photographed about two weeks ago and shows the interior and exterior of this magnificence architectural structure. All the interior shots were hand held with the iso setting adjusted between 600 & 1200 to cope with low light. I do have concerns regarding the music as this was the best I could find to complement it, and it does sound a little drab. However, view it if you think you are able to watch and listen to choir music for 5minutes and would be pleased for any feed back. http://www.mediafire.com/?f3t0nohrh0plbnd Regards Paul
  22. Thanks for you comments Malcolm. I have been at that location in the winter and somehow the magic ambiance had disappeared but it still had an alluring feel about it and have also images taken in the winter time and may produce a monochrome presentation when I have time. Regards Paul
  23. Hi Ralph After looking at your competent effort of the le mans 24 hour race show I remembered I had seen a another one similar to yours done by a French guy which I thought you may be interested to have the link which is as follows http://www.aginum.net/photos/diaporamas.htm The title image to click on is 24 Heures du Mans and you can download it
  24. You have a valid point Ken. However, to me the sad abondoned boats do have something interesting to offer Photographically. Regards Paul
  25. Glad you liked it Andrew Paul
