  1. Happy birthday igor, I hope you have a fantastic day....!!!!! Wishing you many more, Gayland
  2. Thanks everone, my fears of being rejected, were unfounded. Thanks a million for your kind comments. Best regards, Gayland
  3. Hi PTE friends, I have been hesitant to post my simple little shows, for the last 3 years. But, I think there is a need for the new users (and ones thinking about it) to see that it is not necessary to know about cale, anchors, masks, PNG, and mathamatical equations, (which I don't) to make a decent little show. One that their family would enjoy seeing. Please take a look at my humble attempt. Best wishes, Gayland http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=9983e83...059209db0f572d9
  4. Hi everyone, I have apoligized, for my actions, and that's all I can do. My personal opinions, will not be posted again. If I knew how, I would remove the offending posts, so we could get on with more pleasent subjets. May I blame my lack of good manners on our hurricane? The end, Gayland
  5. Wideangle, Valued or not I can have my say. I don't pretend to be anything but an average guy without PTE or photographic skills, I just take snapshots and make little simple shows. I cannot enter competition, and would not know how, or where, if I were. What I do know is that some, on this forum, take little jabs at those of us less talented, therefore, I would never even think about submitting a slideshow to be judged. I apologize to the forum members that feel offended. Best regards, Gayland.
  6. Hi Lin, I totally agree with what you are saying, that's why I am trying Linux Ubuntu 8.04 on one of my 3 computers. The guy that keeps trashing you, thinks he's so cute, and knows everything about everything. I think the reason he's on this forum is to sell his crap, and what business is it of his how someone obtains their software? He mentions this quite often, while telling everyone how important he is. I know PTE doesen't run on Linux, but there is no single program, that I can't live without, since I'm retired and don't have to try and sell anything. Best wishes, Gayland

    Excellent show..........!!!!!!!!!!!! Best wishes, Gayland.
  8. Gerard, fantastic shows.....!!! These are not the photos of an amateur, which, my dictionary says, is a person with limited skills. My friend your skills are not limited! Thanks for sharing,Gayland.
  9. Dave, what a fantastic show....!!! What a fantastic plane....!!! What fantastic farms...!!! You certainly have this PTE stuff down pat. Thanks for sharing, Gayland.
  10. Hi Gilbert, there is a program that lets one click on the frames of a running PTE show, and captures and saves each in a folder. I think it came from the guy in Thailand. This is a fantastic program, but I suspect the pros, in this group convinced him to take it down. Regards, robertg
  11. That's amazing, Lin. Gayland
  12. Great show Lin, Gayland.
  13. Hi Lin, thanks for your reply. I think the demo was very recent, and for a lady that was very new to PTE. Please disregard if it's too much trouble, I know your time is money. Thanks again, Gayland (robertg)
  14. Hi Lin, you recently posted a demo, for a person, on the forum, on O&A use. I didn't download it at the time, and now cannot locate it. Would you point me to it? Thanks for all you do for the forum, Gayland.
  15. Wonderfull show, beautiful country. Thanks for sharing, Gayland.
  16. I have an old Minolta SLR camera, that I haven't used since my first digital about 6 or 8 years ago. I now have a (bridge) Konica/Minolta Dimage Z6 with 6 MP, and have been very satisfied with it. One of the reasons I bought this camera was, it uses AA batteries that I can buy anywhere in the world. I don't like the idea of proprietary batteries, and I have a dozen rechargable AA's and my charger. The pro's, I'm sure have much different ideas, but this is my humble opinion. Thanks for all the help from the forum, Gayland.
  17. Peter, what a fantastic show, thanks for sharing. Best regards, Gayland.
  18. Ron, thanks for all you do for the forum. I have v5 installed, but I use the old 4.8, I just haven't grasped all the stuff in v.5. Thanks again, robertg
  19. Thanks to Ronniebootwest, for the tutorial on his method of introducing his slideshows. I needed to be led, by the hand, to understand how to do this. I'll be waiting for part 2. Thanks Ron, Gayland (robertg)
  20. Ray, consider yourself lucky, before you had a heart attack. I worked for over forty years, for a major air conditioning company. I built prototype models that the clueless idiots put unrealistic timetables on. When I reached my earliest retirement age, I was gone. It has been five years and I coulden't be happier. Stay happy, robertg
  21. Lin, I'm sorry to hear about your eyesight problem. Get well soon...!!! Best wishes, robertg
  22. Thanks, for sharing your beautiful show JPD, if only I could do half as well. Happy holidays to you and yours, robertg.
  23. Prashant, thanks for sharing your beautiful photos, robertg
  24. Thanks Ken, for your help, robertg
