  3. Hi Dave and Peter, thanks for your help. I have just been clicking on "OK" with the install window. I now see I should pay more attention, and select where to place the program. I too keep all versions now, as I have run into times when I needed to reinstall for various reasons. Thanks again, for your help, Gayland.
  4. Hi PTE friends, I know this has to be a simple thing to do, but I don't know how. When I download, and install a PTE version, the new download overwrites the older version.(version 7.0.2 overwrote version 7.0.1) If I want to keep both (or more) versions how do I do this? Thanks for your help, Gayland.
  5. Howard, excellent and moving show. Thank you, gayland
  6. Hi Lin, you are absolutely right, we had 68 days of 100 degree F and over of stifling heat. There is no way to escape it, except to stay inside. (Or go to the Davis mountains, many miles away.) We are 20 inches below average on rainfall, and lakes and livestock ponds are going dry. Farmers and ranchers, are really hurting, having to sell off their herds, and turn their livestock on their substandard crops. Hopefully, the fall and winter will bring rain, but it's not looking too promising. Best regards, and stay warm, Gayland.
  7. Hi Lin,great demo, I just want to say, I mowed my lawn yesterday,in my shorts, in 81 degree F weather. We nearly have to mow the year round here in central Texas. Best regards, Gayland
  8. Thanks Igor, I have had to resort to the kindness of forum members (Ken Cox) for copies of these in the past. Best regards, Gayland
  9. Will one off our moderators please remove the newest member, for using vulgar language. See his user name. Best regards, Gayland
  10. Dave, sorry for such stupid advice, I only think in Windows, Macs never enter my mind, plus, I guess I don't read too well. Everyone, the next time I have a senior moment, and give advice, please go on to the next thread. Apologies all around,Robertg
  11. Dave, why don't you use System restore, and go back to before you installed Parallels? Good luck, robertg
  12. I am one of those "casual" users, I make my simple shows for friends and family members. If you want to go simple, this is the program, if you want to go elaborate, this is the program. Whatever your expertise, PTE will fill your need. Best regards, Robert Smith, USA
  13. Hi Igor, I tried control panel and start menu to uninstall 7.0.12 7.0.13, and got errors. I deleted files with Revo. I used control panel to uninstall 7.0.14, 7.0.15,and 7.0.16, successfully, no problem. Problem solved, thanks, and best regards, Gayland.
  14. Igor, I tried the PTE default uninstaller, from the start menu, but was told it couldn't be found. I haven't tried from the control panel, will try that next. Thanks for your reply, Gayland.
  15. I tried to uninstall PTE v.7.12, with Revo Uninstaller Pro, and was told couldn't find uninstaller. I went ahead, and let Revo find all the 7.12 files, and deleted them. I next went to PTE v7.13, and had the error report shown below. I did not let Revo scan for files this time. Win 7 Home edition 64 bit I don't know if this is a bug, or something going on with my computer. Igor, any idea? Best regards, Gayland

  22. Hi DaveG, I agree with Bill, and you, there are plenty of trash websites out there, if that's what a person wants to visit. I like to think, PTE Forum is more of a family orientated site, since, we have several lady contributors. Best regards, Gayland
  23. Hi Wideangle, I haven't given up yet, just regrouping my thoughts. By the way, the indecisive mantra is funny. Thanks for your thoughts, Gayland.
