  1. All, Uploaded an AV to Mediafire, ‘Some rain must fall’ http://www.mediafire.com/?4jydygtwzdy I was going to leave posting, but my pc is playing up and may need rebuilt. Different styles in colour and mono, sharing a theme of sadness. So if you are feeling down or depressed, best not to watch it. Warning downloaded /manipulated Google images with a melancholy theme. If any of that upsets you (and it should), don’t download. Now where's those Kleenex. Davy
  2. David, As The Dom says ,'Very Creative'and there is loads of potential as you are also doing the sound as well. Lots of people come unstuck with that. Lots more input from your end needed to produce an entire AV. Thanks for the info with regards to sound software. Wanting to have a go at my own sounds so thats why I asked. Looking forward to more from you. Davy
  3. David, Pretty impressive for a first time soundtrack and visual. Good to see new blood here, especially doing something a bit different. An interesting effect for me was some static images seemed to be rotating slowly (after watching some of the rotating objects).I'm viewing on a 1920x1200 monitor and some of the pics (extreme zooms) seemed quite pixelated. Not up to the quality of the (spirograph nebulae). Extreme zooms can often look like the dodgy effects used on early Blake Seven episodes. I'm sure a few will want to tinker with the online software, but i'm interested in what you made the audio track with? Well done. Davy
  4. Hi Maureen, Have just set up stall in the market. The 3 part Pyrenean Adventure is almost sold out. Some folks not happy with the 'No Refunds Policy',but I'm running a business.By next week they will have forgotten that Julie Andrews didn't star in it at all. Next offering will be very very sad,so have some kleenex handy. Davy
  5. Hi David, Thanks for taking the time to download and comment. You could spend an age working with images if you wanted to tweak things to the max.I never really see an AV as finished. Especially after it has just been uploaded. Davy
  6. Ken, Super shots, but limited to 640x480 pixels. Davy
  7. Maureen, Have watched the 3rd part of the Pyrenean trip a few times now.Gets better each time. I now have the set. Super stuff. Davy
  8. Thanks Ken, John, Colin and Andrew for your comments. Yes I know it’s not a proper AV. Not my images, I’m not out at 5.30am capturing a sunrise, or precariously perched on a cliff battling against the elements. If I had to rely on my photos and ability there would be one very mediocre show every 5 years. At least this way I get 1 mediocre show every month or so. For downloaded image AVs my source would be Google Images and though for various reasons It would not be possible to thank people individually, I am grateful for this resource and their work. I am just compiling their images to music as a theme or story. John, I had a look at the link you sent and had a listen (Youtube) to the Debussy piece. It was pretty cool.I'm going to listen to some more of this. Probably would have taken a month to make an AV to go with it. I thought it would be something simple like ‘Clair De Lune’. Thanks again folks. Davy
  9. All, Have uploaded an av ‘La Mer’ to mediafire. PC version http://www.mediafire.com/?nhntmmdzryk La Mer (The Sea) is the title of a song by Charles Trenet and as it happens, he sings it here. It might sound familiar, as it has been recorded many times. The most famous take, would be the recording by Bobby Darin ‘Beyond the Sea’ (different lyrics). What's it about?...The Sea of course. Warning contains downloaded/adjusted images of Sea, sand, sun and birds with no clothes on. If that upsets you, don’t download. Davy
  10. Daniel, You captured the atmosphere perfectly. En route to Fontainbleau I stayed in Melun and had a great time walking in the countryside, with idyllic scenery around the Seine. Davy
  11. Hi Daniel, I really enjoyed the AVs. A relaxing stroll, avoiding the normal tourist 'Must Have'Eiffel Tower/Notre Dame etc pics. The music for both pieces worked well.Hayley Westerna has a voice that can sometimes be sharp enough to cut paper, but not here. I would have been tempted to condense the 2 shows in to 1.Maybe drop some of the pics that were repeated/too similar. Well done. Davy
  12. Thanks Daniel, A glass of Rum...I'll drink to that! G'Day John, After all these years she hasn't changed a bit. Andrew, A bit of fun and glad you liked. Cheers, Davy
  13. Hi Lenart, Glad you liked the show/concept. I have the dvd documentary and music soundtrack.Great stuff. The year 1947 was not meant to correspond with the cars. It was the year I lost my baby at the Buena Vista Social Club Here we have a Love story that endured for decades and you just stopped to look at the cars If you still only see cars, just think of each car as a beautiful woman. Davy
  14. Maureen, As I don't get away to these exotic locations, you save me a fortune with your travels and AVs. I was suprised that there was still plenty of greenery.I was expecting something a bit more sparce. An excellent 2nd part to your Pyrenean adventure. Well done. Davy
  15. Maureen, For ideas...I just listen to lots of music. For me,it's music first, pictures after. Gilio, Glad you liked the slideshow. Old cars and cigars are somethings to savour. Ken, Pretty amazing that these old cars are still running. The mileometer on some, must have been round the clock a few times. (same for some of the women) Thanks, Davy
  16. Thanks Rick. Glad you liked the AV and the pic of my Baby. Maybe I could fix you up with her older sister! Davy
  17. All, Another not very serious AV.A tale of love lost and found in Cuba. Featuring loads of pics of the 'Yank Tanks' and of course, the hottest woman on the planet. Warning Contains downloaded/adjusted images and as mentioned,a really hot chick. If any of that upsets you, don't download. PC version on Mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/?mmkmmqyinwm Davy
  18. Superb AV Maureen. I score it 10 out of 10. Look forward to the next installment. Davy
  19. Don and Daniel, Thanks for the comments. I enjoyed doing this AV.A bit of fun and something a bit different from the usual. That suits me best. Davy
  20. Lumilux, Thanks for the comments. Give me a Hi Five,I mean....... Low Five Davy
  21. Andrew, A slick production. Could have watched a show twice as long as it was so interesting. Spell checkers might pick up on 'Great Britian'. Well done with the AV. Davy
  22. Andrew, Glad you liked it. Kids grow up so quickly. It's not long before they run a mile at the sight of a camera lens. Davy
  23. Hi Ken, Kids love upside down.It just seems natural and provides loads of laughs and chuckles. Adults are more wary, and those who do risk it,wear all the protective gear. Davy
  24. All, A not very serious AV on life Upside Down. Warning Downloaded/adjusted images including a baby feeding (while upside down). If any of this upsets you, don't download. http://www.mediafire.com/?reyai1qnzzn upside down PC version http://www.mediafire.com/?gzqnjbyzwny upside down Mac version Davy
  25. Hi Andrew, Talking to some friends,I was suprised at just how many had visited the Anne Frank house. It has to be a 'Must See' place when in Amsterdam. Not been there myself, but one day. Should have known Trailertrash has been there. Thanks for the comments, Davy
