The commentary in this sequence was written by me, but read by Grok AI in the accent I determined. So, for those who find commentary a bit challenging, here is a way to avoid all the microphone issues, mis-spoken words and spoiled recordings and no dealing with noise in the audio

I may be doing a PTE demo in the next few months and I'd like to use this information as an example of the softwares longevity and robustness. Perplexity AI says 2005, but surely it was earlier than that, or am I mistaken

This a bit basic to what some are now doing, but is this it and there is more here https://beckhamdigital.photo/animation-transitions/

People’s impression of Australia is often that it’s dry, dusty and full of flies and venomous snakes, but that’s far from the truth. The area I live is the Sunshine Coast about 100k north of Brisbane. It’s sub-tropical, so it’s green and lush all year round. The sun can be a harsh light to deal with at times, but that’s the artistic challenge to overcome. -

A simple presentation following a 3 day visit to Hasting Point

Robert Keeping things simple is often the best thing we can do, otherwise the fancy presentation can overwhelm the images we want to show. Our creativity can get diverted to parts of the project that are less important.

OK Good luck

The file downloads but is not seen by PTE AV Studio and I don't recognise the name. What is it your actually looking for
-
Can you be specific on which Style downloads don’t work and I’ll look into why and try and correct them. They must have been working at some stage because I test every download when first posted.

JRR - The cyclone slipped past us and we just got the edge of it. It has still left a bit of cleaning up around the garden though, but better a bit of cleaning, rather than a cyclone. A 50 year rarely I’m told. Kieron. I’m a photographer first and an AV enthusiast second, so what drives me has always been the quality of the Images. . Seismic - Alan Parsons has been a favourite for many years. Little known and underrated in my view and that track just clicked with me.

I was unaware of that. I’ll let my friend know.

Can anyone suggest why a Yetti microphone attached to a Mac is greyed out in project options. I’m assured that the Mac recognises the Yetti, but voice recordings cannot be made from the audio tab of Project options I’ve never used a Mac so cannot advise. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I have done this before back in 2017 and there is a page and videos on my web site that show what I did. It’s the same technique used here in 2025 Check that page here There are a couple of issues. One being the limitations in size of a 27in monitor and a larger TV would possibly be better. There is a lot of spotting to do, even though I put all the glassware through the dishwasher first. There are more faults scratches and distractions in our everyday glassware than we usually notice, untill be focus close and fill the frame.

There’s no compositing here, the images have been through standard ACR editing only.

Targa I have videos already made on every topic I can think of. So at the moment any future videos are on hold awaiting inspiration :-) For all my projects and when it’s complete, I save a Backup to Zip from within PTE. This places everything you used in the presentation into one zipped folder and allows you to come back to it at anytime just as you left it. I usually include with that BIZ an Exe version of the show for my PC and also an MP4 video for posting and sharing. I store the backup in zip, the exe and the video off my computer and I have all bases covered.

I’m here, just a bit older, wiser and much much slower :-)
