  1. If you apply styles and themes, they will be retained in a BIZ
  2. The answer rather depends on the laptop that will be playing your presentation. If it’s old it could struggle to play either file type. Best to make an MP4 and an Exe. If you are able to try the laptop beforehand, then take that opportunity to avoid embarrassment.
  3. Ghulya I assume you used some translation in the above, but the text makes no sense
  4. It wouldn’t affect it at all. It’s the audio commentary via a microphone that I’m referring to.
  5. I would like to see some changes to the audio comment recording within PTE AV Studio. I appreciate I use audio recording quite a bit and therefore my needs may not be full representative of others. Firstly, I think the fact that you can record the voice directly in the software should be made much more prominent. It’s hidden away, perhaps a little too well. I’ve even wondered if it needs removing from project options or duplicating and given a much more prominent place. I admit that I haven’t thought through the implications of this, but in an idea world. I’d like three buttons and shortcuts to go with them. F9 Starts a voice recording F10 Ends the recording and saves it automatically to the location I set up at the start. Each successive recording is numbered as it is now F11 Aborts a recording, for those times when it goes wrong, dumps that recording, so that without any more clicks. F9 would start a new recording I would also like the ability to affect noise suppression of the entire track in a similar way to Audacity
  6. To pan an image, you first have to make it larger than the project you’re making. When you do that with some images, it can affect the position of the image content on screen. So, I don’t think you will find it uncommon to use the pan Y to adjust that.
  7. David I need more information, because I’m not sure what you mean. Could you post a small screenshot perhaps
  8. Just create a free YouTube channel and upload to it directly. It’s easy to do. There are three publish options. One private, so only you logged into your YT account could view. One semi-private where it’s not able to be found via search, but you can send those you want to view it, the link. Finally the public setting, where anyone can view If your channel is monetised, after you gain at least 1000 subscribers, they will flag any slide shows that contain copyright music. However, they inform you, but don’t ask for the show to be taken down. They allow the slide show to remain, but direct any monetary gain to the music rights holder and they don’t appear to penalise the person uploading.
  9. I agree with Mike and said much the same a few years ago.
  10. Yeah, I’ve got it now. I wrongly assumed my video was being looped, or if not looped then repeated for me. I’ve been tipped off what my issue was via a PM and as a result I can mark this thread solved. Thanks to you all, but it’s not exactly user friendly is it.
  11. Thank you to those who have made suggestions and the only one that I hadn’t already tried was Jill’s suggestion that the video needs to be added in the O&A. Would it be an arrogant thing to say that if someone with 20+ years of experience of PTE AV Studio cannot get this working even with some help. Something somewhere is wrong, maybe it’s my brain. You’ll see below what I am getting. Video Removed
  12. I still can't get my head around this. This is a very short video showing what I'm doing and what I'm getting. Video removed
  13. Jill Thats just about what I did, especially the copy and paste part and I noticed that they pick up the master automatically. Perhaps an 8s video isn’t long enough. I’ll have another go later with a longer video. Thanks for the help
  14. After receiving a question about this, I realised it was an area of PTE I had hardly looked at, so I have tried to work out how this all works and even referred to the handbook below for guidance. I confess that it has me beat. I add an 8s video clip and set it as a master video track in O&A. I drag down the same video again and via the O&A set that linked to the master video. The option doesn’t say link to the master video clip, it says link to, and gives me the file name that presumably is the same thing. The first video plays its entire 8s up to the end of the fade to the next and then stops. It now looks like a still image and I cannot work out what I’m doing wrong. Is there some trick to this I’m missing? It sounds simple from the guidance below, but I cannot get it to do anything worthwhile. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Single Video / Master Video Button Single Video Clip plays only for the duration of the current slide Master Video track - If the same video is added to multiple slides the first instance of the video can be set to Master Video Track. All further instances on subsequent slides can be set to “Link to <the Master Video Track>”. The result is a Video clip running continuously over multiple slides.
