  1. Jill Every time I see a request like this, I have to restrain myself from saying what’s actually in my head, but perhaps there are times when right ot wrong, best to say what’s on your mind. Anyone who wants to automate AV should immediately pack it all in and find something less demanding. Simply because, if you can’t put in the time necessary to create the AV, why do you expect me to spend the time to view it. Harsh perhaps, but true
  2. I suppose the response to that is. How much effort and programming time would it take to develop a feature that maybe 2 people may use, some of the time, perhaps in a leap year
  3. Gary What is it about the subscription model that you hate. The price, the ongoing nature of the subscription, downloads and updates? I can understand that if your not using very much of PS, then it may appear a bit wasteful to upgrade, so in that scenario, perhaps JT49 has a point. I don’t see the issues you’re describing getting any better from here, do you? What parts of PS CS5 are you using?
  4. I read this when you posted it and I’ve just read it again 18 hours later and there hasn’t been any response to your request. Why would you want to hand over the synchronisation, the most important part of AV, to a computer program? How would the software know if one slide needed the sound at the start of the transition or the end for visual effect. To produce something of worth, there has to be some effort put in and I’ve been around AV for over 40 years and not once have I ever had a desire to hand over the creative process to a computer. Perhaps I’m old school and out of touch and maybe I’m missing something here.
  5. Gary. CS5 is now 12 years old and I wonder if the OS has evolved to a point where maybe you’ll see more issues like this, even if you do find a workaround for this current one.
  6. Make the first keyframe with the centre moved to -100. Size the text and place it where you want it. Then clone further keyframes and they will retain the -100 centre, position and size. Then you only need to change 2 keyframes to zero opacity. Placing the text with the justified setting left, didn’t seem to make a difference, but it’s not going to do any harm either. I included the text fading in and out on my other 5 minute video, so kept this one focused. https://youtu.be/b4Kl8f2kvXQ
  7. I’ve never had the need to do this sort of text. Having the text in the centre always met my needs, so I’ve never really given it much thought, but when you said you had a video of how it’s done. That alerted me to the fact that there was a solution. I don’t know a word of French, I’m embarrassed to say, but your video helped me join the dots. Although it’s not a technique that a newer user would easily stumble upon
  8. Modern_Min Tonton has the answer and it is something that may make a 5 minute video for English speakers.
  9. John Both audios need to be in the same track to overlap and crossfade. Could it be that your dragging the audio clips into two seperate tracks?
  10. I can’t quite get my head around why you want to adjust the rotation centre, but does this video help,in any way?
  11. Given that PTE AV Studio is quick and easy to reinstall. Try that first. Download the latest version, install and try again. Click the free trial button here https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/
  12. Carefully copy the product Key and paste it into the required field. If the key worked before, it should work now and it maybe a key error of one of the characters.
  13. You sure can, but……there’s no guarantee they’ll let you out again.
  14. That doesn’t look bad at all, but I’m not sure what you mean by “made a script” How?
  15. I copied my text from a word document, so it may have some formatting. Is this better? When making videos on Photographic topics, one of the most time consuming things to do is display exposure information with an image. Iso, shutter, aperture etc. I would go further and say lens focal length as well is important. I know that for many subjects viewers like to see these settings used, but if there is a way to add them in an auto or semi auto way, I’ve not found it. I use PTE and Camtasia and to add this information is necessary, but tedious in both software. Is this something that is possible to be added in the text template? A template where the user can define what is displayed from the meta data, or am I asking the impossible or the impractical? To add this info the same as we do with the text templates in the O&A screen.
