  1. I loved that. So smooth and very polished. Cant fault it.
  2. Thanks Davy for taking the time to review the work. [93 views and not a sound I though it must be perfect or everyones asleep. Music is so hard for me to get right. I think that's where my main weakness is. I'll have to work on a better selection method. I agree about the sunlight. One minute it was very dull and overcast the next it was bright as can be, so I was trying some 'into the light' stuff. Not 100% successful. When I saw the blur on the sign I actually cringed. It didnt work at all, but yet it looked ok in the creation stage. Something to work on there. I seem to have got into a mind set of around 40 images to display. Dont ask me where it came from it just sort of popped into my head. I have to remind myself it doesnt have to be 'regimented'. That's gonna be tough. Thanks for the advice which I agree with 100%. Andrew
  3. Have a great vacation and rest Igor.
  4. I visit TNM every time I'm in the area. It's my favourite day out when I'm there. I found the name of one of my best 'buddies' from my Army days who was killed on duty on October 6th 1982. download it from Beechbrook.com The National Memorial All advice and critique gratefully received. Andrew
  5. Install PTE on my laptop with my licience I have for my desktop. I'm on vacation and have nothing to do and a load of pics to play with. Andrew
  6. I just loved this. I travel by Caravan [Trailercamper [hence my TT nick]]myself and this looked like it was so much fun. Trixie looked as tho she enjoyed it too. Andrew.
  7. Beautiful artwork. There is still creativity in the world today. Love the show too. Andrew
  8. Beautiful. So relaxing and calming. Loved it. Andrew
  9. I thouroughly enjoyed that. Being a Scot I love to see my homeland in all its glory. Andrew
  10. Thanks for the positive comments. Due to being informed it breeches copyright in so many ways, I have removed it from circulation.
  11. Thanks Davy. She has you to thank for the inspiration. I just love the old boy myself but would never admit it to her....ssshhhhh! Andrew.
  12. My wife is and always will be a devotee to John Wayne. She even blew me off from a date with me [if you can believe that ] when we first met just cause there was a JW movie on the TV. She had a life sized pic of the guy on the ceiling above her bed for christ sake! I always wanted to do something like this for her, and inspired by ' Bogart, Bergman and Bacall ' I had a shot at it. So here's my Tribute to Big John. Andrew http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?m5tzzhgnofm
  13. Excellent presentation Davy. I love the old photos. Wasn't Ingrid Bergman a classic beauty. They dont make 'em like that anymore. Andrew.
  14. Lovely work brian, I agree about the mini skirts. Andrew.
  15. Thanks Barry, Thats a compliment for sure. Andrew
  16. Hi Davy, They are stunning to see up close. I would be very reluctant to take some of those on the road in case they got scratched. Andrew
  17. Thanks Ken, And thank you for the advice on the music and for the track you sent me. They do go well together. Andrew
  18. Held annually at Ingilston Showground, it's the truckers weekend to show of their vehicle's and their artwork. It's amazing the theme's that can be painted on the side of a truck. They spend the weekend there, with tents caravan's [Trailer Campers] and even converted trailer unit's that they live in . Some of them are fully kitted out with all the mod con's. Access to the vehicle's is fine [post judging] and the roads are paved, although as a wheelchair user, they need to do a bit of resurfacing. All in all it's a great day out that I wouldnt miss. 49 slides 6:32 secs 26 meg. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0jxygwmv3gr
  19. Goodness me....93 views and no-one pointed out that I hadn't added the URL. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jwzjdrwo4y1
  20. Thanks Carol. That crop tool thingy has me befuddeled. I need to do some reading on it. I'll do as you say tho, and create an action for it. Thanks for the help. Andrew.
  21. This is the WIP of a sequence I want to try from my visit to Scotlands Truck show Yesterday. Big boys toys. I have used a BG which fills the screen, and the slides are sized to 1620x 1080. Does the BG fill all monitor screens? Are all parts of the slides visible? I'm in new territory with this monitor. Also any ideas for the soundtrack [smokey and the bandit maybe?] would be appreciated as will any pointers on the WIP. Andrew.
  22. Ken, you are a kind man. Andrew That gives me 1620 x 1080
  23. OK, I'm beginning to get the measure of this. There is one thing I dont get tho. Photoshop will only resize to 1920 x 1280 which is still above the monitor resolution, at 1920 x 1080. I think I'm going to have to accept this size as the standard for my monitor and make any adjustment in O&A using the grid. I havent tried full screen yet, so I dont know what the loss around the edges would be. Andrew.
  24. Ken, The images are all 3072 x 2048 at this point. I havent altered them yet. Just starting to try to understand this new monitor. Should I leave them at this size or come down to the monitor resolution? Andrew.
  25. Ron and Ken, Thanks for the info. This really has me scratching my head. Well I would if I had any hair left I have discovered that 16:9 is now the ratio that gives me the function to fill the screen with a BG image, so thats fine. If I follow you Ron, I resize my slides to 1400x933 if thats the size I want [its the native size of our clubs projector] and check the virtual size of slide box, having entered that size as the value. Have I understood you correctly? Andrew.
