Congratulations with this Amazing Show. One thing however, I saw (slide) numbers in the top middle of the screen when I viewed your show, where they ment to be there? I am going to to treat myself and watch all three in sequens now. Thanks for showing us your creations. Bert

Hi All, I have used Dom,s Template of the #3 Album and filled it with 30 pictures. (Thanks Dom, looks great). What I like to do is when the Album closes, that an other slide show starts. In the Template I have opened the project option and under "Advanced" found "Run application after last slide. I have put in that box the name of the EXE slide show that I want to start. ("name slideshow.EXE"). I have also put that EXE in the same folder as where I have put Dom's template for the Album, together with all the numberd pictures for the Album. I can run the Album in preview (have not made an EXE yet) , but it closes after the last picture. How can I make the next show start automaticly? Thanks, Bert

Thanks for all your sugestions, I am working in PTE5. Ray and Lin, your method worked, luckely the 400 slides I had added by accident, where added at the end of the side-list and therfore easy to go to. KSF, I did the "Create backup in zip" and have now the PTE slidelist on my hard drive. Conflow, I have seen the "Create template" sign, but I am not that familiar with the templates. I did a search in the forum, but could find no info of the things I can do with it. I went over all the commands in PTE5, and noticed that under project, there is an (Greyed Out) Undo and Redo command. Would they have worked in my case if not greyed out? Thanks again, Bert

Hi All, After I had put 200 slides from all different folders on my computer in the slide list of PTE, I went in a folder in my computer to get one more slide. Instead of clicking "Add selected picture(s) to slide list", I clicked on "Add all pictures to slide list". So the whole folder (400 pictures) was added to the slide list. I know that I should have made my selections in a folder outside of PTE first, but I did'nt. So can I Undo the last action in PTE? An other question is, because I made the slide list from all different folders on my computer, it only exist in PTE. Is there a way to save or copy all the pictures that are in the slide list, in a separate folder on my computer? Thanks, Bert

Thanks Ray, That made me understand what was wrong. I had renamed my pictures according to "The Dom" instructions on his site, and it never asked me if I wanted to replace his files. It said in his instructions to rename my pictures to "Pic01.jpg" etc. I gave it this full name instead of "Pic01". I gues I followed the instructions to the letter. It works now fine. Thanks, Bert

Dom I did your method but only the last 2 pages 30 and 31 of the album showed up. The thing is I have no idea what I do and how to get my pictures in your album. I have downloaded your template 1.1 again. Unziped it to a new folder, loaded my pic01.jpg-pic31.jpg in that folder. Opend PTE5, clicked file-open and double clicked on the the "The dom photo album extended template. The album shows when I click the preview, but not with my pictures but with your colored blanks. How do I get it to show my pictures. Thanks, Bert

Hi, I have downloaded Dom's Template for the Photo Album and extracted it to a folder. In the folder I have downloaded 31 jpg's and renamed them Pic01.jpg till Pic31.jpg. I have put everything from that folder in PTE5 "Slide list". When I do a preview I see my pictures with all kind of fades, wipes etc. Don't see anything like an Album. What do I do wrong? I looked for a tutorial on how to use templates, but could find nothing. (Only how to make them from a show.) Can anyone give me an explanation on how to use Dom's and other peoples templates. Hi All, When I download the link to Keith's Valentine, the file is "Valentine-fromKSF.rar". I get a message that the file can not be opend by windows, and it asked what program I want to use to open it. I chose PTE but it stil won't open. Any sugestions? Thanks, Bert

Igor, In the new version can you make that the buttons are not so "cramped" and the text not cut off in the Project Options Box, when my settings are Large Fonts (120 ppi) in windows XP Home. Thanks, Bert

Should it not look the same as the "Project Options" box in the new tutorials? > Igor I have set my text in Windows to 96DPI and as you said, that solved the problem with the "project options" box. Consequently all windows text is smaller now. I like the 120DPI font size because that makes things easier to read for me, (we all getting older). So if it is not to much of a job, can you in the next update make the "Project options" box less cramped, if I use the 120 DPI font size. Thanks, Bert

< Bert, this problem comes when you set "Large fonts" (120 dpi) in Windows. I know about this visual problem and will try to optimize for this mode. Please let me know your version of Windows> Igor, I have checked my Windows XP Home edition settings in the Display properties. I have the following settings: Windows Classic Style, Windows Standard and the font size Normal. This does not seem a big font size as the 2 other Font sizes I can choose from are large and extra large.
