Good morning. It's been a while since I last used P2E. I have installed 7.5.10 but cannot find out how to keep the last slide on the screen at the end of the slideshow. I've tried searching but unsuccessfully. Could someone enlighten me please? Many thanks - Nettleton

Have tried searching for how to do this without success. At the moment I have pictures to exe open twice, the one with the slide I want to copy is slightly minimised. I left click the slide I want to copy then right click on 'copy' on the first version, I then move the cursor over to the version I want to copy to, left click where I want to paste and right click to paste. Nothing happens. Could someone please tell me where I'm going wrong? Many thanks - Nettleton

I've made a slideshow and each slide is numbered at centre top. I now need to remove the numbers and I can't remember how to do it!! I have searched 'Help' but not found anything. Could someone help please? Many thanks - Nettleton.

Aha! I realise the error of my ways! I was trying the space bar and the arrows on a Preview! Many thanks for your swift reply. Nettleton

I cannot control my slideshow, through Project Options, Advanced, by using the keyboard ie if I press the space bar it doesn't pause, if I press right or left arrows nothing happens. Can you tell me what I might not be doing properly please? Many thanks - Nettleton

Hi Dan In version 6.5 one can hold down the shift key when having the cursor over the rectangle top and side grab handles and make the rectangle narrower, wider, higher or lower without the rectangle changing shape/size proportionately. However, if you hold down the shift key when holding the cursor over the CORNER rectable grab handles, then it STILL changes the size proportionately but does not keep the rectangle in the middle of the screen. Today I reopened the slideshow, saved as another title, closed PTE, reopened 'another title', removed music from first slide, checked all slides working properly, put music into 'Music', 'Project Options' and BINGO preview worked with sound and created a slideshow with sound!!!! As long as it works properly I'm only mildly curious as to why there was a glitch!!!! Thanks for the suggestions. PS The gin and tonic worked wonders, nearly time for another !! Nettleton

Hi Peter, JRR and Dan. Thanks for your responses. Checked security updates had not been downloaded whilst using PTE. However, before I lost the sound, I had actually created an exe file but the timings were slightly out between slides and sound when played back. Before deciding to close the computer down and reboot, I moved the music from 'Project Options' and included it in my first slide under 'Customise Slide' - it is now working with sound with 'Preview' and has created an exe with sound too! So, maybe its partly a computer glitch but more likely me not understanding totally how P2E works!! Thanks - Nettleton

Hi there Have just completed a 56 slide show. When viewing on the 'small' screen the slideshow plays with music. When viewed with 'Preview' there isn't any sound. I 'Created' a file and that doesn't play with any sound either. I have placed my music under 'Music' in 'Project Options' and made sure that I haven't inadvertently added music to any individual slides. I do not have 'synchronise music and slides' ticked. My frustration is that when I played the 'Preview' earlier this morning, I had sound but since I have changed some slide timings, I have lost sound on 'Preview'. I have checked everything in Project Options and cannot see anything amiss. I am using version De Luxe 5.5. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Nettleton.

Peter - I have ALWAYS had to reopen the registration key when running a new version of P2E and so supposed that everyone else had to too! Nobeefstu - How do I check my user/administrator settings and privileges please? I assume I would have made the original installation of the Pte program registration available only for the adminstrator (ie me) even though I share the pc with one other. I am the only user of P2E. Interested in comments from both of you. Nettleton

Each time I download a new version of P2E I have to open the new version AND THEN OPEN THE FILE WHERE I KEEP THE KEY AND OPEN THE KEY- I then get a message saying the new version is registered. : ) Nettleton

Looking forward to trying this when I get back from holiday next week (Off to Majorca tomorrow in search of some sun - UK residents will know why!!) -Nettleton

Xaver I was misunderstanding. Have just followed your instruction implicitly - and it works! THANK YOU - makes life SO much easier.

Thank you Xaver - but I would still like to be able to fine tune the synchronization at any point during the individual show using mini player as the animation is so fast ! I agree that audio objects that could be placed anywhere on the timeline would be useful. Regards - Nettleton

Peter In Project Options...Main tab - untick "Synchronize music and slides" In Project Options...Music tab - tick "Don't interrupt sound comment when next slide appears" Add the sound file via the little loudspeaker icon up at the top right of the main window and NOT via Customize slide button This DOES give me sound when running mini player BUT I have a slide show with very quick animation and it would be really useful to choose a slide, ie slide 6, to start playing in the mini player and hear the music, and then stop the mini player and fine tune the animation to the fraction of a second. Otherwise I have to Preview from the beginning of the slideshow and watch the animation very carefully all the way through to find where music/picture are slightly out of sinchronization and this is a very time consuming way of doing it! Have created a slideshow with music added to first slide (didn't add music using Project Options/Music because I want to integrate this into a larger slideshow) and running through all slide show. When viewing slideshow using mini player I don't get any sound. Have searched recent forum postings but not found anyone with similar problem. Am I misusing the software or is this a glitch??
