  1. Will you please remove it. Nettleton
  2. Hi Doug I run a Dell desktop Dimension 5000 which has an ATI Radeon X300 series card which works perfectly well with P2E V 5 - Are you having your problem because you are running a laptop as opposed to a desktop I wonder?? (Have been away on holiday which explains why I have just caught this post). Nettleton
  3. Am I missing something obvious or could someone tell me why this topic has been locked?? The Dom - Congratulations on having your site up and running again - it's been sorely missed. Regards - Nettleton
  4. WOW!!! I want to do a show like this too!!!! Nettleton
  5. Mightec If you visit The Dom's website you will find tutorials for PTE 4.8, along with tutorials for beta PTE 5 also. The Dom has dedicated this website to PTE and it is a mine of information with tutorials, photoshop tips, demonstration slideshows, you name it - if you want information on PTE you will find it there and you will certainly find help with the 'learning curve'. It's a little gem and he tirelessly updates it!!! And THIS FORUM HAS to be the most helpful and friendly Forum on the Web!! And of course, it's thanks to Igor and his wonderful team and their dedication and attitude that this Forum exists at all!! Nettleton
  6. Very clever JPD - and how enjoyable! Look forward to the template - think it would look very nice for wedding photos with the bride's flowers as a background..... Thank you - Nettleton
  7. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery - Nettleton
  8. For those of you who would also like lightening and rain clouds, try this link! http://www.pslover.com/click/7726 Regards - Nettleton
  9. Hi Al Sorry - I posted the wrong link! It should have read: http://www.pslover.com/click/7851 and then scroll down to 'How to make real looking rain'. Regards - Nettleton
  10. This site has a very good tutorial for make very realistic rain! http://bleached.aljaud.com/ Regards - Nettleton
  11. Moving. Poignant. And in my view should be made available to a much wider audience though not sure how you could do this. Congratulations on a wonderful slideshow. Nettleton.
  12. What 'zing'! What 'umph'! - Excellent. A very enjoyable slideshow beautifully choreographed. I felt as if I was there!!
  13. DaveG Thanks for the added info on not having to continually recreate an AVI file in PTE - Nettleton
  14. I find it interesting that DaveG mentions Sonic MyDVD. I also use this software. I create the AV file in PTE using the TD-1080, PAL, smart anti flicker and audio interlaced options, burn to JVC DVD+R disk, play this in a Panasonic DVD-S35 player onto a Panasonic TX-32LXD 500 Digital Progressive LCD TV. And the resulting show is terrific - not a flicker and crystal clear and sharp. Hope this is of interest. Having said all of that, I will still purchase PTE5 DeLuxe as it will be good to everything 'under one roof'. Regards - Nettleton
  15. Al and Dominique Thank you for the links. Will try them all and Dom, WOW, am now going to explore the new website!! And I agree entirely with Ebonist! Thank you for giving so much to the community!! Best regards - Nettleton
  16. FANTASTIC! Thanks Ken. Nettleton
  17. Good morning I seem to recall one of the Forum members posted a grid to be used with O&A which wouldn't actually show when the slideshow was run. I've searched the Forum but can't find anyting re grid later than May 2006. If there WAS a template grid posted, could someone point me in the right direction or could it be posted again please? Many thanks - Nettleton
  18. Beautiful - Works perfectly on my Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM processor and ATI Radeon X300 Series video card. Nettleton
  19. Dom This is tragic - can't begin to imagine how you must feel. A very spiteful act. As Lin says there are lots of people on the Forum who would be happy to help in any way and I am sure you only will have to ask. Best regards - Nettleton
  20. Whilst trying to log onto Dom's two sites, I see the following page ""TheDom Sharing Links has been hacked, the database and all files deleted. Sorry for the inconvenience."" Is this for real?? Nettleton
  21. Well, Ken, here IS a dumb question - what is the 'CRS syndrome'? Is it something we Brits in general are not familiar with - or is it just me??????
  22. Hi bjc Thanks for the clarifying post - yes, it makes sense. Can't wait to 'get into it' over the weekend! Best regards - Nettleton
  23. BJC's book tutorial is excellent and very easy to understand. However, in practice, I have followed the Book Template tutorial to the letter BUT when I open P2E v 5.5, find 'MY FIRST BOOK' and add TheDom-BookLandscapeTPL-SmlJPG image to the slide list and click on Objects and Animation, I do not have the listing of files under the Objects column, ie (25), which show on the tutorial. Also when I move the blue pointer on the timeline from one end of the timeline to the other, there isn't any activity because there are not any keypoints showing. What am I doing wrong please???
  24. Thanks for this Ken - site looks interesting. Will have a closer look over the weekend. Regards - Nettleton
