Igor, I ran the third test about 6 times on both my Sony laptop and my desktop with no problems not dialog popups.

Please try this third test for memory leaks:

I tried it 10 times (without any .bat) 3 times after reboot, no error, no problem, just a very little "jump" when there are the 2 pictures with a white border.

PIV 2.4 Ghz 512 Mo RAM - Radeon 7500 64 Mo

Okay, I tried your 3rd test on my computer at home:

Description of computer:

HP Pavilion a819n, 512RAM, 2.80GHZ, 1MB L2 cache, 800MHz Front Side Bus

Graphics card:

IntelĀ® 82915G/GV/910GL

Express Chipset Family

RESULTS:

4 runs, no leaks or messages. However...

I did this after downloading Lin's "hidebehind" show. ( http://www.lin-evans.net/p2e/hidebehind.zip )

I got the following message after running his show 3 times:

Title of popup box:

Allocation Leakage Memory

Content:

Total Pointers: 1671096

Peak Pointers: 839

Peak Mem: 68360856 bytes

Leave Pointers: 1 (68 bytes)

So, your test runs fine, Lin's show has leakage. Is this significant?
