I use the DVD frequently to share shows.I would really miss it.

The exact wording of the error message was "An error while downloading a video occurred. The file has not been downloaded". The test show was 13.1 kb and runs for 54 seconds. It contains 3 slides and a short video. I chose HD quality. It did add successfully when uploading direct to Facebook. Thanks.

Thanks Lin. I tried twice using PTE, but could not get it to work. I took your suggestion and tried to load directly onto Facebook. It took two attempts, but finally worked. Have not viewed whole show yet. Thanks again.

I have completed a slideshow containing pictures and several videos. The length is a little under 8 minutes. It works well as an exe show. It goes through the conversions for Facebook, but will not upload. I tried it both as an HD and standard. I did do the process of verifying for Facebook. Any suggestions?

After transferring the mp4 to my iPad I noticed it obviously doesn't loop like the exe file. Is there any way to make the mp4 loop like the exe? Thanks, Howard

DG, The resolution was1920 by 1080. Playing on the iPad gave a more brilliant looking show than on my Sony Vaio. I think I will stick to iTunes for the transfers. Thanks again to all. Howard

That's should have been 11.0.2.26

iTunes on PC is 11.0.2.6. - The version on the iPad is what came on the unit. I do not see how to find version on the iPad. Thanks.

DG, Thanks, I now have it on my PC on iTunes. I connected my iPad by USB port. I do not see controls you are talking about to apply the transfer on either device. As I said ,I am a newbie even on iTunes. Any more suggestions?Thanks

I am a newbie to iPads. I have purchased an iPad 4. I have generated a video for the iPad using defaults in pte. Uploaded to dropbox and then transferred the zip file to ipad. I can not figure out how to go from here. Any suggestions? Thanks, Howard

Mike, I am not an expert! But love photography and using PTE. I have an older 35mm Minolta and several lens. I was told that these older lens could not be used with the newest DSLR cameras. I ended up purchasing the Nikon D300 right after it came out. I am using it for volleyball indoors and soccar outdoors. I currently have only one lens, a sigma f2.8 , 24 - 70mm Macro. I like it but I would like to also take extremely closeups of insects and flowers, as well as wildlife. So, I need to purchase additional lens. Need cash or great deal on prices. Xaver, sorry I was not clear. I was agreeing with Barry's statement "Shouldn't the default be the other way round, always display the show at the resolution of the images unless the author ticks a box to say different. i.e "expand show to fit monitor". Howard

Barry, I agree with you totally. I have been using PTE almost since it was first developed. I am not an expert and at my age do not remember all the things I should. I was not aware of the "Fixed Size of Slide" option. Maybe Igor will re-think this decision. Howard

Mary, Thanks for the link. I downloaded the trial version today and have already done several pics. As you said, it can be additctive. The price has already gone up to $48.00 though. Probably will just live with the trial version. Howard

Dom, I finallly got it to download. But it would not do it until I closed the pop up request to download the windows media extension. Thanks for the reply, and also thanks for sharing the excellent photography and examples of this use of frames. Howard
