davegee started following Help with creating a style

Give the Main (Foreground) Image "Main Image - Index 1". Create/Add a "Splitter for Background Image". Add your BG image to the Splitter and leave the Main Image Index blank. Create the Style. If you want to add a blurred copy of the Main Image as a BG then you can Copy and Paste the Main image to the Splitter complete with its Main Image Index 1 DG

I Am trying to work out how to create a style which uses the same backgound image wherever it is applied. I can control the main image I am applying this to, but I cant seem to grasp how to embed a background image into the style. I have tried to analyse existing styles where this happens, but I cant seem to understand how to make this happen for myself.

Well, I don't know, but I think preventing a program from moving forward with improvements, and letting it stagnate isn’t a very good idea, especially when more users are asking for them. I also don’t think those improvements should be based on the number of people requesting them; even if there’s just one person who thinks something could work better, whether to make the work easier or to add new features, if they’re meant to make the program better, they should be taken into account and not fall on deaf ears. I think we all want the program to be as good as possible, the better it is, the more we all stand to gain.

JRR started following Pip The Platypus
-
Well done Marc What AI did you use? Platypus(es) eluded me on my two visits. Although I did see a ripple!
-
Several users, including myself, have already asked for this feature, but it has never been realized. It's a pity 🥲

➕ "Thanks, Denis. Even so, I think having a magnified area would provide a more detailed view and make it easier to work." ➕1️⃣

This story is based on a local platypuses in a creek not far from my home. Pip is a curious cartoon like AI created young platypus who lives in a beautiful Australian creek in the northern rivers of NSW.

What A Ride started following pulsating or throbbing object
-
How to make a object pulsate or throb directly toward screen, similar to a bass speaker with volume turned up. I'm using PTE ver 12.
-
Hi It's notpossible to zoom in. To adjust key frame, you can use the key frame time. (1/1000 s). Denis

Hi, would it be possible for PTE to zoom in on the O&A timeline? Or maybe I’m mistaken and it’s already possible, but I just can’t figure out how. If this option isn’t available, it would be great to have it so we can have better control over keyframes, especially when we need to adjust them in more detail at a specific position. Right now, it’s very difficult to adjust them exactly as we want; being able to zoom in on the timeline would make the workflow much smoother than it is now. Thank you.

Great style, which I can use with it. Is it perhaps possible to outline the figures of these transitions very lightly for more clarity? -
Hi, I'm sharing these 25 transitions with you; I hope you like them. https://www.mediafire.com/file/axil9uivaf91bf1/Light_Leaks_Transitions_1.rar/file

Updated version of PTE AV Studio 12.0.4 is available for PC and Mac Download: https://www.wnsoft.com/pte-av-studio/download/ Or use the Auto Update function: Main menu > Help > Check for Free Updates Fixed an issue where a video clip with adjusted speed or a trimmed start could be skipped in the final render during video export. Fixed an issue where restoring a backup project loaded files from their original location instead of the project's backup folder, if the original file was available. About window shows: 12.0.4 Build 1.

Thanks, Roan Jon, I've already downloaded it. Before installing it, I'm going to try to fix a couple more versions that have the same issue. If I can do it the way Igor says, I think I downloaded them from here, but I can't find the post to report it.

Hi, I understand your frustration. In V11, there was a bug - Hue slider in the Hue/Lightness/Saturation Color filters was changing the color of black and white (grayscale) images. This is not correct behavior. In a grayscale image, there is no color (no saturation), so the Hue slider should have no effect - this is standard behavior in Photoshop and other image editors, too. We fixed this bug in V12.0. Normally we're trying to keep backward compatibility between versions. But this case is different, because it was not a feature, it was a bug. Keeping it working would mean keeping the color filters broken. For this kind of effect, I recommend the "Coloration" color filter in PTE AV Studio. Unlike Hue/Saturation, so you can set it to any color you like. This will give you full control and a predictable result. Alternative option: it may be easier to prepare those color variations in Photoshop first, then bring these images into PTE AV Studio.

Hi Socu, New version of this style (confetti) for PTE 12 Multicolor confetti-2.ptestyle
-
Hi, I see the problem with this style (confetti) in V12. We’ll check the code today.
-
Hi SoCu I confirm this style works well with PTE 11 and unfortunately the confetti appears white with PTE 12
-
SoCu, This Style works OK with Version 11. Original Post is here: https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/20848-confetti/#comment-138292 Possibly Igor can throw some light on this?? DG

Hi, here is the link to the project. Regarding the samples of these styles, I believe they were posted here, though I’m not entirely sure, they did display color back when I first tested them. The other example, the one with the confetti showing the gold color, was a video; I’m not sure why, but it displays correctly now. The two examples I’m showing in this project are the ones that aren't displaying in color right now. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GTQ7BD8k-86kT4dPmlv614pGlKcofkjv/view?usp=sharing
