  2. It's two new 16 GB new ram modules. I will go back to my supplier and have him check them out. Thanks for your help.
  3. Today
  4. PTE AV Studio Pro v10 is Windows-only, so it wonโ€™t run natively on Mac.
  5. It does sound like hardware. When you upgraded your ram did you leave the old ram in place & just add extra or is it all new? And is it evenly spaced throughout the ram slots? If you have some old then is the new compatible with it. Your image sizes are small so they shouldn't be a problem. Jill
  6. I recently increased the ram to 32 GB so I'm thinking there could be a problem with the new ram as I did not have a problem previously with only 8 GB ram. The images vary in size from 500 kb to 1500 kb. I sometimes have PS or NX Studio open as well but not always. The problem also happens with other smaller projects. I posted my query to find out if there could be a problem with version 11 but it looks like a hardware problem.
  7. Sounds like it could be a memory problem. Are you running any other programs at the same time as PTE? I assume you mean you have 32 GB of ram? Which should be plenty. But it could be that another program is taking it up. Also how big are your images? Jill
  8. I have version 11.0.18 Build 3 After adding slides to a project and working on it for some time and then running Preview the transitions are shacky. If I save the file it's still shacky. Only after closing the file and rebooting are the transitions smooth. I have 32 mg ram. The problem did not exist before I upgraded to version 11. Any help will be appreciated.

  10. Another super-busy week, but I did manage to create a couple of new music tracks to share with the community...free, as always, to use with attribution, like my thousands of other tracks. They are: On my Sci-Fi 14 page: "MOONLIT CYBER STREETS" https://soundimage.org/sci-fi-14/ On my Positive/Upbeat page: "SHUFFLINโ€™ AROUND TOWN" https://soundimage.org/positive-upbeat/ PLEASE READ If you can, please consider making small contribution to support my efforts. I honestly hate asking, but I do pay for everything myself including my synthesizers which are very expensive (I make monthly payments) so contributions from the community really help me a lot. Here are some ways you can help: https://soundimage.org/donate/ https://soundimage.org/ogg-game-music-mega-pack/ https://soundimage.org/ogg-music-packs-2/ Anything you can manage will be very helpful...thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Yes, we enjoy hearing their 'screech' as they scan the lagoon waters below for yet another fish. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. Thanks, lucky they are a regular visitor in your area. They are not common here, and the local government authorities are making nesting poles to encourage them to breed. The mortality rate of chicks is high and they only have a life span of about 8 years.
  14. Very common to see these in our back yard above the lagoon here on the East Coast of the US. ๐Ÿ˜€
  15. Greetings Creatives, I've created some cool new bark textures...they're 100% free to use with attribution, just like my thousands of other images, music tracks and sounds. You'll find them here: https://soundimage.org/txr-bark-seamless/ Speaking of assets, if you can, please consider making small contribution to support my efforts. I honestly hate asking, but I do pay for everything myself including my music gear which is very expensive, so contributions from the community really help me a lot. Here are some ways you can help: https://soundimage.org/donate/ https://soundimage.org/ogg-game-music-mega-pack/ https://soundimage.org/ogg-music-packs-2/ I sincerely hope some of my assets are helpful in your projects. Please feel free to share your projects if you wish...I love to see how my fellow creatives are using my work! ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. Thanks, John, I can see why you thought that, and thanks for the feedback. I did have indigenous Australian music initially, but used that music on the platypus. I guess when changing it out, I looked for a similar length rather than a style that suited. Interesting observation about the time/progress. Yes these were shot on low-speed continuous drive over about 4 minutes. There are some before and some after but I settled on these due to the similarity of the crossbar. On saying that it is often hard to get a good perspective of these birds so very happy with the images. I did take some drone video, also but processed that in another application. Thanks for commenting. Mark
  17. Nice captures of the osprey and fish Mark To be honest not my favourite of your productions. I didn't feel the music fit and for what little progress the osprey made on the fish, the production was quite long. Just one person's opinion.....
  18. The eastern osprey (Pandion haliaetus cristatus) is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. They live in Oceania at the coastal regions of the Australian continent, the Indonesian islands, New Guinea, and the Philippines. It is usually sedentary and pairs breed at the same nest site, building up a substantial structure on dead trees or limbs. The subspecies inhabits habitats close to coasts and estuaries, which provide opportunities for fishing. The eastern osprey's diet consists mostly of vertebrate fish species. It possesses specialised physical characteristics and exhibits unique behaviour to assist in hunting and catching prey. This bird had a chick in the nest just about here. They usually eat the head and gills first to ensure the fish is dead, and also because this contains the most nutrients for the parents.
  19. Greetings, I used the NewHouse Lighting MR11-2530, which is "MR11 2.5W 250 Lumen, 3000K LED Bulb". I had to dig them out from the left-over parts from this project. No improvements because I am finished with digitizing all of my slides. Now just have to get rid of what is left of the project, like the slide projector, the stand, etc. Hope this helps... Gary
  20. Hello Gary, What wattage M-11-4 bulb are you using? Any new improvements? Thanks.
  21. Thank you macian, I am really looking forward to using PTE AV Studio on the Mac mini and also, of course, getting used to the Mac OS. Gordon
  22. Thanks, I do live in a lovely part of this planet.

  26. It's fun to experiment with PTE. I created 2 more versions with more blending steps. It seems to improve deflicker on the 20 to 60 version. Thanks, Tom Timelapse Blend 20 fps.ptestyle Timelapse Blend 10 fps.ptestyle
  27. Tom, thanks for sharing! Great work.
  28. Sample of frame blending using dissolve transition. Comparison with single step frame at the end. Taken from an indoor security camera pointed out window towards the sky. It's been overcast and raining so I can't go outside with my camera to capture photos with a better camera. Waiting for the weather to improve. Two Styles. Style 15 fps publish at 30 fps Style 30 fps publish at 60 fps Missing Style 25 fps publish at 50 fps (just modify one of the others to .040 for slide and dissolve time).
