Hi,
Release Candidate 1 for PTE AV Studio 12 is available today, and the final version is scheduled for release within a week.
P.S. Today marks exactly 27 years since the release of version 1.0 on July 2nd, 1999.

- Fixed an issue where rewinding between slides containing video clips was slow, causing the video on the current slide to briefly play back at high speed.
- Updated translations for Chinese, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish.
Note: the free Beta license key can no longer be used with the Release Candidate version.
The About window shows version 12.0 Build 1.

Check the "About" window to make sure you're using V12 Beta 15 and the Pro version.
We've provided a free Pro Beta key for testing (see my announcement about the V12 Beta).
A choice of Blend modes is not available in the Standard version, but they will work if they've already been added via a slide style or template.-

Sorry, maybe I misunderstood your question.
See the screenshot below, it shows how to change the blend operation for an existing mask container.

Mark, you can change the Blend mode (operation) in the Properties of a Mask container.
Look at my screenshot above, I have highlighted this setting with a yellow line.-

In PTE AV Studio 12 (Beta 15+) we've added a new "Blending" mode to the Mask container with support for 9 blend operations:
Linear Dodge (Add), Subtract, Multiply, Screen, Lighten, Darken, Overlay, Hard Light, and Soft Light.To use: place the first image into the Stencil, and the second image into the Content of the Mask container. You can add video, text object, rectangle object, or multiple objects (several images, for example).

Hi,
In PTE AV Studio 12 (Beta 13+) hold the Shift key while dragging a sound volume keypoint in the Timeline to adjust it with finer precision - the keypoint moves 3x slower than your mouse cursor, giving you 3x better accuracy when fine-tuning the value.

Even being able to use the arrow keys would be better.
Try the new Beta 13 (V12).
Hold the Shift key while dragging a sound volume keypoint with the mouse cursor in the Timeline to adjust it with finer, slower precision. Accuracy is improved by 3x.We cannot use the arrow keys for sound volume editing because the keypoints have no focus. I hope that the solution with the Shift key and mouse editing will be a good alternative.

Hi,
Try the new Beta 13 (V12). Now you can change the duration for a custom transition when you work on it in the editor.
