  1. Xaver, Yes, I added the change according your suggestion. If we insert a new keyframe at time position where located keyframe of some another object, magnetic effect will not occur. If it's not so, please send me minimal one slide's test project in ZIP and instruction. Adda, Can you always reproduce this problem? Please send me one slide test project and step-by-step instruction.
  2. Beta 7: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip + Improved encoder of H.264 video: quality of video better than created in previous betas, file size smaller on 30% but encoding takes on 30% more time. + "Pan & Scan" option (when you create MPEG4 video) is more intuitive now. + Added new FPS presets for creating of MPEG4 video: 24p, 50p, 60p. + Improved protection of images and music in created EXE file with slideshow against extracting. + Small improvements with inserting of a new keyframe. * Fixed bug of previous betas when there were no music in created video files if music in WMA/OGG format. * Fixed minor bug of previous betas with "Save slide" feature in slideshow. Incorrect slide number in file name - "Slide 5.bmp" instead of "Slide1.bmp" for a project with four slides. * Fixed an old bug (since v5.5) when after renaming of a main image in Slide list or File panel MiniPlayer didn't display renamed image. * Fixed an old bug (since v5.1) when changing of display resolution, locking of PC or Sleep mode applied during encoding of video caused visual defects in created video file. * Fixed other small bugs in the main program of PicturesToExe.
  3. Topic for bug-reports.
  4. Peter, Xaver, I have reworked inserting of a new keyframe in Beta 7.
  5. Thanks, I'm working with provided test projects and calculations to understand the problem.
  6. Yes, please send me both projects in ZIP archives. If the second project was created in old version of PicturesToExe, please pack it to ZIP archive manually (not via "Create backup in ZIP archive").
  7. Yes, just 24p is common name.
  8. I found that this problem occurs when all slides have zero time (and 0 seconds of total duration). How it may happens I have no idea yet. So I've added checking for this situation to the code of MiniPlayer and it will prevent from appearing this error message. I'll investigate this problem to find exact reason.
  9. Excuse me Jean-Pierre that I missed your this earlier suggestion.
  10. Peter, When you create new keyframe (via "Create New Keyframe Here" button in Animation tab, or choose "Add Keyframe Here" from Timeline popup menu, or click "+" small button) it creates a keyframe at the position of the cursor on the Timeline. If the cursor was placed near (+/- 8 screen pixels) to keypositions (0 ms, end of transition effect to current slide, beginning of next transition effect and end of next transition effect - see two thin grey bars on the Timeline) PicturesToExe will put new keyframe exactly at this important point and dock it. That's useful if you later will change duration of transition effects or slide - such docked keyframes still will be located in these keypositions (e.g. end of transition effect). I understand now that sometimes it bothers to place new keyframe near to keypositions but not exactly. So what variants we have? Special option - "Snap new keyframes to keypositions"?
  11. Tony, It seems that problem occurs when PicturesToExe starts with last opened particular project "A", you run Preview and then try to open another particular project "B". Please try to remember and reproduce with these projects A and B. And if you can reproduce this situation, please send me backups of both projects in ZIP archive. I'll able find a reason of the problem and quickly fix it. You can use mediafire.com to upload and send files
  12. First or second pinned topic on this forum: "PicturesToExe Deluxe 5.6 Beta 6". Direct download link: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip
  13. It's necessary if you want to get predictable size of created video file. OK, we'll add new FPS presets: 24p, 50, 60.
  14. I'll reply on other problems tomorrow. Sorry for delay.
  15. Graphical problems usually related with drivers for video card. Please try to re-install it or install newer drivers.
  16. nobeefstu, Sorry to ask that, are you sure that you have closed right application? Window for encoding of video is another application that visible on TaskBar. How you closed it? By pressing of X button at the corner of the window or clicking Cancel button? Can you reproduce this problem again? Thanks in advance!
  17. Ray, We always encode H.264 (MP4) video with variable bitrate. The peak/maximum bitrate now about 40 mbit. There are many and many settings of H.264 video. You can look at mp4presets.dat file to see how many settings it includes. I'm afraid we will not change it more. In fact quality of created MP4 video already high. In next Beta 7 we even improved it more.
  18. Thanks for news! As I remember re-installing of video drivers helps in all similar cases.
  19. Thanks, we'll explore this problem.
  20. Mary, Thanks, we've fixed that text message. Tom, Thank you, it's also will be fixed.
  21. There is a problem with Vimeo and Youtube for us as developers. They don't provide examples how to upload video from Windows applications. They suggest SDK and examples only for web/online applications. So we have to use HTML based requests instead good reliable API. It's sad.
  22. Probably it is some kind of moire? Or you see pulsing on edges of white framed photos? How you think the problem visible only in dynamic and can't be seen on static picture if you will make shot by digital camera?
  23. Just single about 100 KB DLL file. PicturesToExe will perform this checking not more often than one time per day, or after failed attempt to upload file to Vimeo/Youtube. Process of checking is just reading of small .ini file from WnSoft's server (something like "CurrentVimeoVersion=1.00") and if server contains newer version, PTE will download new 100 KB file of configuration DLL file after user confirmed it. All described above applicable only when you use PicturesToExe for uploading of slideshow to Video/Youtube. In other case (presets for iPhone, video for PC/Mac) - no internet connections.
  24. Vimeo changed settings for uploading in external programs (as PicturesToExe). Please download and install updated Beta 6: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip To solve this problem in future we will realize auto-updating in next betas. And before uploading to Vimeo/Youtbe, PicturesToExe will automatically check WnSoft's server for fresh configuration file with settings for Vimeo/Youtube.
  25. Beta 6: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip * Fixed problem with uploading of created video to Vimeo. * Fixed bug of previous betas when there were no music in created video files if music in WMA/OGG format. * Small improvements.
