Really, no need to dispute about it Of course, it would be great if author could prepare slide-show and burn DVD using one program (it solves possible problems with incompatibility). We plan to add own MPEG2 encoder in the future. Only probably this module will be available as plug-in to PTE and it will cost additional money, because we will need to pay royalties to Motion Picture Entertainment Group.

It's a strange problem, because PTE starts a next track immediately after previous one (without any delay). What can you say about music composition during last second of the first track? Is it fades to silence? Please make another test. Add again two music tracks. Click "Time-line" button and place cursor on 10 seconds before end of the first track and click "Play" button. Will this "click" occur again between tracks? I think this sound effect may be caused because of sharp border between two tracks when they are totally different in first and last 10 milliseconds (1/100 of second). PTE instantly starts playing of new track and we may hear sound click. Usually compositions have at least 10-100 milliseconds of silence at begining and at the end.

Please describe your idea in more details with example how this function should works. And where to locate this tool (as a new tool, or part of an existed tool).

The first public beta is almost ready. In the next versions. Currently we have only v1.00

We're realizing new graphical engine with Pan/Zoom/Rotate effects with *very* smooth motion and sharp picture as usually. No current plans about integration of Flash movies into slide-shows, sorry. Yes, I think in the next version.

Our team prepared new product. Personally I almost don't work on it, but I'm testing it and we discuss together all important moments. Sergey Malyshev is leader developer of this product (earlier he've wrote about 70% of code for music player, waveforms, AVI video output for PicturesToExe). Sergey worked on this new project during a year and four months. It's only 1 MB (without help file) The program starts within a 1 second. And I think it will costs about $30 or $50 It contains necessary instruments (with all parameters and high quality of result): - Brightness/Contrast, Levels, Curves, Color balance, Hues/Lightness, etc - Rotation, - resizing, - Free transform, - Transform selection, - Save with Preview, - Print With Preview, - Effects, - Layers support, - Full undo. Fast work with large images, support of palette. The first beta should be ready within a week or so. I'll explain why graphical editor. We didn't find suitable small and powerful graphical editor, except Photoshop which costs so much. Also we would like to have alternate graphical editor with high quality of image resizing (Bicubic and Bicubic Sharper algorithms as in Photoshop). Of course, our graphical editor not for professionals who work with CMYK images or who uses all functions of Photoshop. But we position it as a tool for preparing of digital photographies for web, or for PicturesToExe (for example), for sending by email, etc.

Bigbert, I agree that text editor should be improved in PicturesToExe and we're continiously working on the program. Currently we're creating new graphical engine and after this we plan fully rework Visual editor of objects. But, it's very unpleasant to say about this here, a member of the forum may not use bad words in caption of topic and the text of the messages. Also topic and its message should not incite/provoke other members. It's incorrect and not suitable at all. Next time such member account will be deleted. This theme is closed.

Sound comment might be skipped in previous versions, if gap between two sounds comments was lesser than 300 ms. No problem, if previous sound comment longer. Only if there was a gap in 200 ms. (1/5 of second) after end of sound comment and start of the next sound comment. All this problem is completely solved now. Sergey Malyshev and I fixed reason of this problem. What's new in v4.41 beta #4: * Fixed bug when Ulead DVD MovieFactory or another DVD converter didn't work with video file of PicturesToExe (Thanks to Lumenlux, bbdigital and aztari !). * Fixed bug when random show of slides didn't work in synchronized presentation (Thanks to Ken Cox). * Fixed one visual bug on the timeline. * Fixed problem skipping of sound comments in some cases.

Thank you! I've finally reproduced this problem with your help. It seems that sound starts playing (during 300 ms. or so) and then stops. I almost always now within several seconds (view preview) can reproduce this problem when gap is 200 ms. and "Don't interrupt..." option is enabled. It should be fixed soon!

I just tried with v4.41 beta #2 and Pinnacle Studio 8 and it really flickers (one frame normal, then black screen). Thank you! We'll fix it tomorrow in v4.41 beta #3

Is this problem with skipping of some sound comments occur when you change slides? Or even when just you watch slide-show (without keyboard and mouse actions)?

Thanks for testing! It seems that Pinnacle skips frames - it's not our bug, but it's unpleasant, of course. However if compare right now v4.41 and v4.40 - is there any difference? I think Push effect for Pinnacle will be improved in the next version only.

Please try newest v4.41 beta #2: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr_beta.zip It should add correct support of Ulead DMF 4 This version of Ulead DMF4 work different. English and German versions of the program have not equal parameters! This reason of some problems.
