  1. I just sent you the key again. Please run (attached to the mail) file.
  2. Unfortunately, Aleksey, my colleague, said that it's difficult to fix it now. Probably he will find time to fix it, but currently he is very busy with new transition effects for v5.00 It's highest level of mathematics that v5.00 contains.
  3. I agree. Some users informed me about this moment, and in the next version 5.00 PTE will ask name of EXE file on "Create" button click after "Save as".
  4. You're right. I just reproduced this visual bug. We'll try to fix it ASAP.
  5. The main reason why we still use AsPack - reliability shown during over 6 years. I'm afraid to change something in this question if all works OK. I just checked UPX 1.93 and it created EXE file larger on 500 bytes than AsPack. With compression parameter "-9" UPX packs EXE file exactly as AsPack with "Max compression". Both - 248 KB (246 KB with normal compression). You can see that no difference and no reason to replace compressor. Maybe EXE files created in PTE v5.00 will be more compact that v4.xx. I hope on your understanding. p.s. If you need to create really small slide-shows, please use MIDI music and small JPEG images. Be aware that "Save as" in Photoshop adds additional 15-25 KB (!!) of EXIF data to each JPEG image, even if it could be only 30 KB! Use "Save for Web" instead of our PixBuilder Studio which also produces compact JPEG files. (Concerning "Save/Save as" in Photoshop, for example, one large slide-show, 30 MB of EXE file with 100 slides, may contains 1 MB of useless in slide-show EXIF data. And this slide-show could be reduced down to 29 MB without any losses in quality.)
  6. Just I forgot to remove this option from Project options in PTE v4.xx. Now slide-shows start immediately, and this option is not actual any more.
  7. I compared AsPack with UPX two years ago, and AsPack compressed better than UPX. We use AsPack for a very long time and it shown ideal reliability. Also I have personal contacts with authors of AsPack and we can solve any possible difficulties immediately. If you really want to repack EXE file, I suppose that there is utilities which can unpack EXE file compressed by AsPack . p.s. in AsPack we can use more strong compression option. But it will delay start of EXE file 1 second or so.
  8. You can temporarily find this file here: OlgaBoritsch.exe
  9. Now we're finishing main transition effects for new graphical engine. I promiss that after the first beta next betas will be every week or more often.
  10. Both reasons. We'll try make it possible to use 0 ms. and small intervals as earlier. Also as usually we're open for all responses and it's always not late to rework some important moments which we might skip.
  11. For v5.00 I've wrote unified system of times/synchronization. At any moment, you can adjust time points on the timeline, or open "Customize slide" window and change time of a slide(s). You can use simultaneously both ways. Now the value specied in "Customize slide" window means the exact time of show of a slide (including transition effect).
  12. No problem, because I have special and very warm clothes. We have -26'C ... -35'C and sunny weather and wind. Really it even interesting
  13. In v5.00 I tried to make more friendly timeline. And timeline will be available for all modes of slide-show. Even without music.
  14. Ok, I've understood. In v5.00 there will be no such problem with 1 pixel border of a picture.
  15. Yes, you're right. This algorithm works in several times faster especially because we use CPU only. However hiding of 1 horizontal and 1 vertical lines outside the screen shouldn't be noticeable? In v5.00 we will use video card and resizing will be absolutely exact.
  16. Ralph, Thanks, I even didn't think about this variant!
  17. Try also to select slide No. 88 in the Slide list in PicturesToExe and then press Ctrl+R. Preview will start from this slide. And let me know about result. If is possible, please send me to int_support@ ............... wnsoft.com only small .pte project file of your slide-show. It will help me to find exact reason of the problem and solve it. I have PC Celeron 900 Mhz for testing.
  18. What time interval between slides you set? (for 89th, 90th, 91th slides) What size of images in pixels (e.g. 1024 x 768) and in bytes (e.g. 500 KB) and is it JPEG or BMP image? Does it happen when you watch Preview or created EXE file? What CPU you have in your PC and version of Windows?
  19. Next 5.00 version can pack (Alt+B or from main menu) all files of a project into one ZIP archive.
  20. No fees for upgrade to v5.00
  21. Of course, we can output 24-bit audio. But I'm afraid almost all (or all) sound card just will resample it to 16-bit. Creative probably uses own API and special features of drivers for 24-bit audio playback. As I know (may I'm wrong) that still there is no common API for guaranteed correct playback of 24-bit audio. Also you need to use WAV files only for 24-bit.
  22. Invision yesterday reported that they released critical security update for the forum. Of course, we asked them to install this newest patch. And it already installed several minutes ago.
  23. When you select DVD, SVCD or VCD it always uses PicturesToExe lossless video codec. We mayn't directly support "Microsoft Windows Media Video 9" codec (WMV), because it's not AVI file. But you can choose our lossless PicturesToExe codec (or DVD preset) and import created AVI file into Media Encoder 9 program and convert it to WMV video file. It will give exactly same image and sound quality as if you could create WMV directly in PTE.
  24. Small update of current version of PicturesToExe: PicturesToExe v4.45 http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr.zip (1.4 MB) * Fixed possible problem with music, if you have Skype USB Phone (mistake in drivers for this device). * Fixed bug with "Import transition points" function in the timeline window. (A last point always skiped after importing from another project.)
  25. Thanks! tom95521 Ok, I just corrected this button.
