Several days ago I've added this option. It will appears in the next version.

I've seen this ""Failed to reuse converted cache file error" error with previous versions. But newest v4.31 (which can be downloaded from our web site) fixes this problem. v4.30 still has the bug, and only with v4.31 all should be OK.

Please try to close both programs and then start PTE, make AVI file (don't close PTE!) and then start Ulead DMF3 and add created .ptev file.

I suppose probably it doesn't exactly emulate x86 platform. At least x86 version of VirtualPC which works on Windows XP can emulate PC where PTE runs without any problem. p.s. By the way, I've seen and worked on PC with first emulator (PearPC) which emulates PowerPC platform and where was installed MacOS X 10.3 Of course, it works very slowely but it works

bbdigital, We already started works on new presentation engine which will appear in v4.50 (version after v4.40). It will allow scaling of objects keeping their proportions. But currently you can use windowed mode or use grouping and check up how you CD menu looks in various screen resolutions (800x600, 1024x768, etc). Granot, It hides TaskBar only during a slide-show and desktop with task bar appears in their usual state when slide-show closes. Or it doesn't work so? P.S. So we have now three translation to the Dutch language Old (current) translation was performed by Marco van Malestijn, but last two years I ask Hans van Klinken about translations of new words. If you all consider that two new translations (by Purist and CorVdK) are better we can remove old Dutch translation and add *BOTH* new variants. I think it will be ideal solution. Inna advised me this idea! I'm very sorry about this a little problem when two new translations were created at one moment! Thank you all both for the long work you've done!

When "Exception EListError in module Cali.exe at <...>. List index out of bounds(0)" message appears on starting of presentation it means that .exe file of slide-show is damaged. Incorrectly uploaded (in this case exe file of any program will not work) or infected by virus. Just I've recently tracked last case, when slide-show didn't work and after my advice user checked up his PC by antivirus and he've found that it was totally infected by various viruses and even Windows XP didn't work rightly (themes of controls were drawn partially). After cleanning, all became OK. Also if you see "File corrupted!" message on try of startup of PTE it means that apr.exe file is damaged. PicturesToExe will never work if some virus infects his apr.exe file.

Please try newest v4.31 which fixes various problems with AVI video output. It's available on our web site.

Yes, I apologize that support of Personalized music in the AVI video output is not realized (v4.20 - v4.31). I'll try to make it possible in v4.40. As temporal solution please use usual background music or synchronized slide-show.

For the next version 4.40, I've realized improved protection of "Expire date" feature and added new options: "Number of runs" and "Number of days". It possible to use all three options simultaneously.

"Sharpness filter" option gave too sharp picture earlie. Now it works better. But personally I recommend to don't use this option, except if you prefer especially sharpen picture. Ken, what problem exists with Pinnacle Studio? Earlier I've tested v4.20 with version Studio 8 and PTE has special option for this software. p.s. this v4.31 is only small update. Also I'm working for a long time on v4.40

I don't know about SHW95DLL.DLL file. PTE doesn't use this DLL and Windows 95/98 have no such DLL. How another .exe slide-shows which you've produced work on your PC? Also please try our example of presentation: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/Per_aspera_ad_astra.zip (1,5 Mb)

We plan to prepare small update - v4.31 which will fix all known bugs with AVI video output feature when it didn't work in some cases (Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 and 3, Adobe Encore, Sonic MyDVD, DVDit, Media Player 7). All these problems were our and mine bugs. Now I hope it will work fine on any PC.

Also we plan to fix incompatibility with Sonic MyDVD, Sonic DVDit!, and Adobe Encore.

Yes, in v4.20, too. Just it always happened with one especial combination of parameters. I'm happy that it found today.

Today I've finally reproduced rare bug when converting of video to MPEG2 falls on 99% of work in Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 and 3. "Failed to convert video file Error: ..." We'll try to fix this bug as soon as possible and will upload updated version v4.30. p.s. this bug occured for NON-synchronized slide-shows only.
