  1. Hi Lyn Great job! I didn't notice too much stutter on the Earth, I was too busy watching what appeared next over the horizon!! Or disappeared like the half stars that started on the edge of the frame!! Loved the relaxing music too. The snow caused another interesting project from you Regards Boogie
  2. I add my voice to the other requests for more options to move multiple keypoints. While we are on the subject of keypoints and drawing Igor's attention to a possible further modification. In O&A, the value in the Key frame time box (which shows the time from the start of the current slide) does not compare easily to the actual running time of the keypoint on the time line - not very user friendly for adjusting the key point time. I would like to see an extra adjustable box next to the Key frame time box to show the running time of the Key frame - i.e.the same value as the highlighted point on the time line. I know I can click and drag the keypoint along the time line, but I would find this proposed box easier to adjust rather than click and drag or calculate a new running time from the value in the current Key frame time box. Now the Ctrl + E has been drawn to my attention (Many thanks, Cor) I will try that to adjust a keypoint. With Peter's request for Ctrl+Click to select keypoints, there might not be a need for an extra box!! Boogie
  3. Peter Worth the struggle with the Download then. The instructions for the H4 download had more details with regard to the *.BIN file than the H1 download.
  4. I usually use the USB cable with the H1 - it then acts like a card reader, so I don't need to remove the micro SD card. Boogie
  5. I have been using the Zoom H1 recorder for a few months now and found it very suitable for AV work. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive Zoom models have, but it is small, very portable and gives a good recording. I have just seen on the Zoom Website that from 22 Dec 2011, the firmware has a free upgrade to V2.00 (mine was V1.1) which now a USB Audio Interface function See www.zoom.co.jp for the Download Upgrade and details. I have now downloaded the Zoom H1 v2.00 upgrade which is a zip file in which is a bin file (H1MAIN.bin) and a pdf file (the pdf descibes the new features with USB audio interface), Despite reading all the directions in the manual, I had a problem installing the new v2.00. I finally managed it. The solution was to copy just the H1MAIN.bin file to the root of the H1 when in USB mode. I hope this helps if anyone is following my footsteps!! Boogie
  6. I tried to go to the musopen website and my BULLGUARD security/antivirus checker blocked the access with the following note ATTENTION - This site has been blocked For your security BullGuard has blocked access to this page The site is listed as a malicious site that may be stealing identity information, plant viruses on your machine or do other harmful things. The information we have indicate that this site: LEAVE SITE . More options CONTINUE - NOT RECOMMENDED The Wikipedia site shows OK Any comments? Boogie
  7. Peter Another problem solved! It looks as though Igor had already sussed out the speed options for 3D objects as Xaver has demonstrated. I achieved what I wanted to do by following Xaver example and making sure the keypoints were 'Separated' and Speed options applied in the Custom/Setting up' section of main PZR 'Rotate' Another Brownie Point for Igor!! Thanks also again to Xaver!! How would we manage without the Forum!
  8. Thanks Xaver. Nice clear example. I will use the Rotate {in PZR)Custom speed options to achieve what I want. Cheers Boogie
  9. Hi Xaver Altering the main PZR settings did not work for me. Can you describe in more detail the settings you recall? Thanks Boogie I have now tried it again and found that on a simple 3D object, if I set all the main PZR setting to say 'Accelerate', it has the desired effect. I will continue to experiment. Thanks for the lead
  10. OK Peter. I am also happy if you move the topic Boogie
  11. I have just experienced the need to control the speed of 3D 'x' and 'y' rotations when spinning a 3D object, e.g. to Accelerate and Slow Down. The options are there for Animation PZR speed options, Linear,Accelerate, etc + detailed Setup. Is there any way to implement similar controls in the 3D 'x' and 'y' parameters? If not, is this a requirement that others have experienced and would be useful to add to Igor's wish list? A work around I implemened was to have numerous keypoints, between which I increased or decreased the number of rotations. A bit 'lumpy' but it worked! Boogie
  12. Dave I am taking it a step at a time. The exe demo I downloaded is very good but despite that I am struggling! Rather than block up the Forum, I am sending you a PM explaining where I am hitting that "brick wall" Boogie
  13. Got it Dave - many thanks. I will brush up my maths, take an 'ology, a stiff whisky and make a start!! Boogie
  14. Wow! Thanks DG for the "starter". My head is spinning already!! Is there a template for it? I assume the more "faces" there are, the rounder the "ball" appears. Boogie
  15. I have seen a revolving cube with pictures on the sides, I am now trying to create a rolling "patterned" ball in PTE for an effect I have in mind. Is it possible to do this in PTE? Any suggestions from the Experts out there? Boogie
  16. Thanks Lin If you come across a free video editor that does what we are looking for, please let us know. Cheers Boogie
  17. Hi Lin I hope you have got your main system up and running without too much loss. I have looked again at VideoPad and cannot see any way of creating a "Luma Matte" video. Have you had any joy with this program? Cheers Boogie
  18. Lin Interesting development. I looked briefly at the free VideoPad program that you mentioned some time ago. It has lots of facilities and has a Chroma key facility, but I haven't discovered if you can make a Black and white mask with it? Do you know? Boogie
  19. Great show. I particularly liked the treatment of the "echo" section. Looking forward to Christmas now!!
  20. Jill - I support your suggestion. Yes please Igor. In O&A 1) Show wave form 2) See multiple objects keypoints 3) Group and move keypoints as a block Boogie
  21. You will have to buy and install the latest solid PTE program which is version 6.5 (which does not have the video facility you want)and then go on the forum and download version 7 beta 14 which does have the video facility you want (PTE is pinned at the top as PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta ). PTE v7 beta 14 will be installed separately on your computer, so you can use either. PTE is a brilliant program, the facility you want is very easy to create, so have fun!! Boogie
  22. Lin - Thanks for the suggestion - a good work around. Back to the research!! Boogie
  23. Thanks Lin It will go a bit quiet now while I research that lot!!! In the meantime, have you found a way of adjusting the volume of a video soundtrack within PTE (not just mute it)? Boogie
  24. Amazing Lin!! Can you post the link(s) to the programs that can turn a video to animated GIF? Thanks Boogie
  25. Thanks Igor - Its seems as though my initial requirement for a video with a transparent background would not have worked with PTE. It is a marvellous when Igor and his colleagues respond so quickly with the developement of video in the PTE program I have a lot of learning to do with this new facility!! Boogie
