  1. As it states, you need to log in. And in order to be able to log in, you need to register. Then, out of nowhere, the download button will appear. Pure magic!
  2. You might try this. Make sure (if possible) that the vanishing player has focus (starting it and doing nothing after that will probably do). Now hit Alt+Spacebar and choose Move. Now use the arrow keys to move the the program onto your screen. If it disappeared upwards and to the left, just hit down and right arrow keys until it appears.
  3. Welcome to the forum! You'll find it here: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4327
  4. Here only snow, snow and snow! Saw the sun for about 20 minutes today, though. Very nice. Managed to make the driveway free from snow and ice! But spring is slowly making its way here too!
  5. I've been using it for donkey's years. No problem at all, never get anything "harmful" here - e-mail is much, much worse! I prefer MSN Messenger to ICQ, actually; GoogleTalk isn't half bad either. But I'm not in your 'immediate location', am I? Northern Sweden and South Wales are not exactly close neighbours.
  6. Igor, surely that was not a bug. It was a feature!
  7. Needed (rather) badly: Tooltips for all icons in the main window. Seven of them, some of which are quite transparent, but...
  8. Project Options --> Advanced: Show Navigation Bar?
  9. I use Screamer Radio which is totally free and contains no ads. And you just hit Record in Screamer Radio to save the stream to your hard disk. Go to http://www.screamer-radio.com (Very nice forum there as well!)
  10. Re Billy: Billy is very nice but its development is put on ice. An alternative is Evil Player which is similar to Billy, looks quite nice (despite its name), and is (also) freeware: http://www.evilplayer.server-host.com/
  11. Actually you can put the lame_enc.dll (Sic!) anywhere you like (but \System32 is a good choice). But you've got to tell Audacity where it is. See Edit | Preferences | File formats (rough translation from Swedish) in Audacity. See MP3 Export on that tab and browse to your lame_enc.dll.
  12. Yesterday IrfanView was updated to version 3.98. So far only the English and German versions are available. [swedish version coming soon... ]
  13. Found this: "Audacity currently supports displaying MIDI files if you import them using Import MIDI in the Project menu. Audacity does not support playing, recording, or editing MIDI files. It does not even support saving MIDI Tracks in a project file. These features are planned for a future version of Audacity, which will not be available until at least 2004. The current functionality is useful to only a small group of people who are studying algorithms that relate MIDI data to audio data and simply wish to see the visual representation of the MIDI data and how it lines up with the audio data." - "...until at least 2004." Hmmm...
  14. I wish you had the time! This sounds very interesting!! So please come back when and if you have the time!
  15. Try Audacity (free of charge!) - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
  16. I've been using MP3 files recorded with Screamer for some of my P2E presentations, yeah. No problem at all. Agree with you, Screamer rocks!
  17. http://www.ripvinyl.com/ You might try this handy Utility from my tool box. It does cost but around $7-$15. Easy to set up and works excellent. Harry www.ripvinyl.com - Rip vinyl? Is that what is asked for? If not, why not try Guru's choice: http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
  18. Sorry, but I don't think so. I always use Save as... and Create Slideshow As... to be on the safe side. Once burnt... But I agree with you. You actually should get a question about overwriting (perhaps optional). Comments, Igor?
  19. http://www.trust.com/products/productgrp.a...?grp=MICROPHONE will get you there
  20. Yet another update!!?? I suspect you forgot about your well earned holiday! Hmmm...
