What is the problem with just installing the new version over the old one?

Answer from Irfan: "Hmm, the fast decode method was used in older versions ;-) Newer versions use also the quality method => same image. => I assume, the guy used an older version for testing. For normal images, you can't usually see a significant difference, the images are nearly idenctical. In some special cases, with gray levels, you can see a difference ..."

You can use IrfanView to extract the individual frames from an animated .GIF. IrfanView is free for personal use: http://www.irfanview.com

And why did you convert them to .GIFs? That format reduces the colours to a mere 256 colours. No doubt this is why your photos look terrible.

1. When I use 'Use last transition effect to show desktop' the last image is not shown. The desktop is shown directly after the second image from the end. 2. I'd very much like tool tips for the five icons to the right of the drives in Pictures to EXE. The same goes of course for the three icons in the far bottom right corner.
