  1. Dan D, do you know that you can press the spacebar, to pause/resume the show? (if creator allows control by keyboard.) Best regards,Gayland
  2. Hi Andrew, very nice.....!!! Keep up the good work, Gayland.
  3. Hi Morturn, fantastic images, music fit the show, and full-screen, with 1 pixel line border was right on. However,(IMHO) show needs a black slide inserted at closing. I don't know the circumstance of what you are trying to accomplish, since, I don't know what a barrage is. Regardless, your show is great, and am sure your speech will be also. Best regards, Gayland
  4. TT, I like your method a lot....!! Thanks, Gayland
  5. Hi Peter,This is what the book The Missing Manual, for Elements 7 says about this. Open a photo in the Editor, and then go to the Action Player. Click the Edit tab---> Guided---> Automated Actions---> Action Player From the first pull-down choose the action you want. These are installed actions that come with V7. Note: you cannot create actions in Elements, but you can download, and install,(there are thousands of free actions on internet.) from other sources, or create in Photoshop. Elements versions before V7.0, don't understand actions at all. Once you download the action, if you are using Vista, place it into C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements \7.0\Locale\en_US(This is different if you aren't in the US)\Workflow Panels\Actions. For XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Photoshop Elements\7.0Locale\en_US(this is different if you aren't in the US.)\Workflow Panels\Actions. You need to turn on hidden folder viewing for either operating system, since these are hidden files. The next time you start Elements, you'll see your action in the drop-down menu. It's important to understand a few differences between actions in Photoshop and in Elements. Photoshop can run an action on a whole folder full of images at once. Not so in Elements, where you're restricted, to one photo at a time. Also Elements can't quite carry out actions that involve Photoshop-only commands. For example, if you run an action that includes the creation of something, that Elements just can't do, you will get a warning box. You don't have to stop the action, but be aware that you won't get the same results as you would in Photoshop. This is gleaned from Elements 7.0 the Missing Manual. I hope this helps, best regards, Gayland.
  6. Andrew, well done..... Best regards, Gayland
  7. Hi Dan D, it's amazing at the devastation, these poor people endured, and they are fortunate that there are good people, such as your friends and yourself, to help them. When the hurricane, was predicted, we were inundated, in Bryan, Texas, with refuges and many of them never went back, (my neighbors included). Your show tells a small fraction of the damage these folks endured, and the pain they still feel from their losses. The photos are a great record, of your trip, and the camaraderie, between the members of your group. I would, however, IMHO, use only one transition between the slides, using all of them makes for a "busy" show. Good job,on both the mission, and the show. Best regards, Gayland.
