  1. Thanks Lin, I noticed too late, that I had lost a little bit off the end Video. Not important and just for effect,so just left it at that. Davy
  2. Thanks Mark, I only got to see the film Trilogy. The Books are far too wordy for me. Davy
  3. Dave, Lie Nielsen,Bessey,Incra etc. Won't find them,or a custom oak bookcase at B&Q! The Arts and Crafts title had me worried.its something I would associate with a blam blam woodworking weekend warrior. Pleased then it turned out to be a quality project and not a Barry Bucknell disaster. Nice work. The AV was very good, though maybe screen time per slide was too brief in places. Well done. Davy
  4. Thanks Colin, Lots of attention to detail by the owner. Even in the dark recess behind the number plate,a mini model of Gollum lurked. The paintwork must have set him back a few £££. Glad you liked, Davy
  5. Geoff, The owner of the trike was pleased with all the attention it was getting. With my camera already out,I felt obliged to take some photos. The music track is from a commercial music library album. The track is called 'Attack Team'. I couldn't put my finger on the album,(I have hundreds of them),but while looking, noticed a few CDs for possible future projects. Thanks for that. Glad the slide show worked for you. Davy
  6. Ken, Nice to see a change from the normal mass produced machines. The cap probably did make her shake, but he wont care.Like the Beach Boys song....Good Vibrations. Davy
  7. All, ‘My Precious’. Weighing in at 19mb, 1920x1200, 2min 30seconds. http://www.mediafire.com/?u24l8wd6gludm9w Nothing serious and if you don't like motorbikes, best not download. With a Lord of the Rings theme and not your average kind of trike,I thought it worth taking some photos. Davy
  8. Mortum, I often use focus stacking for macro shots and occasionaly for effects within PTE. It may well have helped here, but I was happy with simple one shot snapping on the day. If you want to have a go with video, probably best to avoid the 5 minute experts here and ask Lin instead. Cheers, Davy
  9. Hi Gayland, Glad it worked for you. Regards, Davy
  10. Xaver, Many thanks for your thoughts. I am sure you must be right. I will return to it at some point and make changes. Regards, Davy
  11. Ken, Got it. Just for those who can't see it,see attached. I did a show a while back.Isle of Dreaming.13th slide in was a tree bark. It had a mans face.....spooky. Davy
  12. Thanks Bill, Going to take another trip there again, so will maybe get a part II AV made. Ken Thanks, Am going to have a search for the face. Is it anybody we know? Davy
  13. All, ‘North Coast’. Weighing in at 31mb 3min 44sec 1920 x 1200. Some photos from a recent trip to the North Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. Set to some tinkly piano music and a little snippet of video. Google was not harmed in the making. http://www.mediafire.com/?me9ybjrbdwz9yms Davy
  14. Andrew, Enjoyed both your AVs. Well captured. The Kennedy Space Centre would be on my list of places to see. Lots of detail to take in and maybe some images on the Space Centre could have lasted a little longer. Well done. Davy
  15. Lin, Nice one. It ran smooth for me. More work than meets the eye,but your description explains it all. Well all except the identity of your Girl. Davy.
  16. Lin, My animation skill is limited, but its good to have a go at it anyway. Sometimes less is more,.....more or less. All we need now on the forum,is more AVs,after all Igor's hard work. Thanks, Davy
  17. Colin, I liked the quote on Tom Waits voice by Daniel Durchholz, as sounding "like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car”. Thanks for watching. Davy
  18. Ken, I cant see Maid Marion, but those merry men are there, hiding in the trees. I count 47. You got me with the Hall & Oates connection. No idea. Thanks for watching. Davy
  19. Dave, Just wondering. AVCHD dvd can be burnt as Bluray 1920 x 1080. Only playback on bluray player though. Can full hd (1920 x 1080)be output onto standard dvd? Bluray player will play dvd as a dvd. There should be no difference, unless I have picked this up wrong. Davy
  20. All, ‘All The World is Green’.Nothing serious, just playing. Images courtesy of Google. Music track,of the same name, from Tom Waits. Weighing in at 72mb,with a run time of 4min 38 seconds. http://www.mediafire.com/?ig5841jj457o0y9 Davy
  21. Fred, Well said. Re Peter’s post. The word ‘Probably’, surrounded by waffle. If only there was a mod filter. I would keep Lin, Ken and Tom. Just name it PTE8.0 Pro. Might cost more, but surely worth it. Davy
  22. Brian, Video was H264. Compatible with and supported by Mac. If backup mode was to mass storage device then no change would take place. (if all was working ok) There are software bugs, glitches and other unknowns. It may take Fred to have another go with Video capture,to see if the problem gets sorted. Davy
  23. Fred, Try optimizing video at a very low quality setting within pte, to take the strain off your system. If it plays ok, might be a limitation of your machine (ram, graphics, settings, horsepower etc). Still get choppy playback, maybe files have been transferred in wrong backup mode. Frame rate, aspect ratio and frame size for both files are different. Might be worth a look at your Samsung settings/manual. Other than that, you may need an expert. Davy
  24. Fred, Try the convertor I mentioned.Lots of output variations available with it. From crapola to HD.Your choice.Your show. Take time to try it out for yourself. Davy
