  1. Is there a way to reduce the file size of a png file? I have one that I've managed to alter to what I want and its 4.3meg in size. Is there any way to reduce this without loosing the transparancy of the outside area? Andrew
  2. Thats a monster. What a task just to move it around. Andrew
  3. Nice one colin. One thing I would have liked tho, maybe a small caption to tell me who the 'Royalty' were in the tombs in the small chapel. That aside...excellent. A stately and superb edifice indeed. Andrew
  4. Glad we dont get snow like that!!! Excellent. Andrew
  5. Thanks for the kind comments guys. I think I forgot to tick the control thingy. I'll do that in future. [Another page [201] started on my things to remember book] Andrew
  6. Thank you all for the kind and positive comments. I think I now have the way I want to go, ie: full screen with just a 2 px border and any motion etc can be done inside that area. Bill I'm sorry it wont work for you, I really dont know why, but I'll try again in my next one. Andrew
  7. New file uploaded here Bill: http://www.mediafire.com/?mzdteut5njx

  11. OK, now I get it. Thanks guys. There was a bl**dy music track still in the list which I hadnt removed when I deleted all the files to try some new ones!!!!! [JRR you were right]. My excuse is since I couldnt see it, I cant be held accountable God there's so much to remember. Andrew
  12. Well I thouroughly enjoyed that. You dont need professional bells and whistles to make something enjoyable. I'm delighted to see you travel in a trailer camper, 'cause we do to. We call it a caravan over here and yours looks fantastic. What a variety of places you have seen. Question, who empties that parking meter in your garden? That was well worth watching. Andrew
  13. This is a screen capture of the area where I see the exe size displayed. Am I understanding this properly? It shows over 2 meg and only 1 file added. I reset the defaults before I did so. Much confusion!!! Andrew
  14. I was playing with settings and stuff and noticed somewhat to my amazement that after adding just one slide of 58k the projected size of the .exe file was showing as 2.3 meg! I dont get that at all. Can anyone help with an explination of that please? Andrew
  15. What an experience that must have been. Once in a lifetime that one. Andrew
  16. Another good one Davy. The faces kinda reminds you of the UK workforce today! Imagine the struggle just to survive. Andrew
  17. That was amazing. So calm. Great photography and music. Yep the whole package. Andrew
  18. Oh dear! I had to turn this off. I'm sorry. It's exactly 1 year to the day that our best pal 'Digger' left us.He watched over us for 19 years and his loss was a severe blow. I've kept it to watch another time. Andrew
  19. Whatever all that is " I'm agin it "
  20. Well done on even getting those images. Poor old fox, he does look a bit worse for wear doesnt he. I hope your intervention is successful. We get one occassionally coming thro our garden going who knows where in the early hours of the morning. Andrew
  21. Superb. Thats about all I'm qualified to say. Andrew
  22. Hi Eric, What a fine set of entries. I noticed in the steam fair entry there was an engine with an ' Ayr County Council Highways Department ' plaque, given that I live in Ayr that got my notice. That chip van seems to appear at every venue! The members must be very proud of their first AV entries. I wont presume to mark as you ask since I dont think I'm qualified to do so. Do pass on my congratulations to the members on a fine set of entries and wish them well for the future. Andrew
  23. The quality of the images is stunning. I like the idea of the full screen but with the white trim. I would have prefered a soundtrack with more variety tho. Thats my only gripe. Otherwise its a cracker. Andrew
  24. I use the explorer thing in the files window not the slide list. If you look at the window above the slide list where your images are waiting to be selected, you can select any image then simply right click >explore > then open with > and you should see photoshop in the list. Saves a lot of hassle.
  25. Great work Davy. It fills my 23" screen. [Thank god for Enya and Lord of the Rings eh!] Andrew
