  1. I initiated this thread with "What a mess the PicturesTo Exe part of the Forum has now become with what was once two pinned items we now have eight." I see that there has been a tidying-up and all is now well as far as I am concerned. Thanks to those responsible. Let us hope it stays that way and members post their views under the correct headings. Ron [uK]
  2. What a mess the PicturesTo Exe part of the Forum has now become with what was once two pinned items we now have eight. Every time I want to open a new post in a topic I have to use the scroll bar and even though I open the Forum four or five times a day there are always posts to be read. Have a thought for us mere enthusiasts. I have just returned from our Camera Club Annual Dinner and in the short space of time that I was out there were 20 pins and post to click on. Have you all gone crazy? Ron [uK]
  3. Thanks Lin for your input on use of "button features". Best wishes. Ron [uK]
  4. Can someone point me to the "button features" please. In "Objects & Animation" I bring up a "Button" but nowhere can I find how to attach any features to it as in 4.48. Are we talking about a different button? Ron [uK]
  5. Congratulations Dominique and good luck with all your future endeavours Ron [uK]
  6. I am inclined to agree with Ken. Changes sometimes create more confusion than they actually solve. Ron [uK]
  7. Thanks and installed. Rotation works perfectly. Ron [uK]
  8. Hello Granot I don't know about Audacity, but with Audition you can set it to start recording and then start the PTE sequence or whatever and what you hear will be recorded. At the end you can edit out whatever you don't want. Hope that helps. Ron [uK]
  9. Thanks Tom for your explanation. I too, in my experiments with previous betas have used your method. From the comments which have been made I had assumed that this was no longer possible. Well done. Ron [uK]
  10. Tom a neat little demo, but reports say that in Beta#9 you can only rotate through 360 degrees. How did you manage it? Ron [uK]
  11. Bob Open PTE 5.0 and then call up your chosen sequence. Still possibly a quirk at the moment as we are still in a beta. Ron [uK]
  12. Thanks Al. I thought that was it. I believe there was a mention within the last few days. Ron [uK]
  13. Thanks Lin, but how to you add "Action on mouse click>Run Application"? It used to be Right click>Properties>Action on mouse click>Run application. Ron [uK]
  14. Well done Igor & team, but am I right in thinking that the 4.48 Object facility for invisible buttons and Run Application... has not been included, as these are prime needs in producing a professional introduction to a selection of sequences. Ron [uK]
  15. Al Your quote "QUOTE(admin1 @ Apr 16 2007, 08:25 AM) Beta 9 will be today." is no longer posted? Ron [uK]
  16. Mike, you ask "HOW DO WE GET HOLD OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT". This will come as a Pinned announcement from Igor for members to download. Ron [uK]
  17. Great news Igor and thanks to you all Ron [uK]
  18. Happy Birthday Jean-Pierre and best wishes for your future health and happiness. Thanks for all your help. Ron [uK]
  19. I agree with Igor - "No auto Pan/Zoom". The best sequences we see, emanating from PTE, are produced as an artform, with a lot of manual interpretation. Whether auto Pan/Zoom should be developed as a possible future option is another question, but not at the expense of the developments which Igor and his team are working on at the moment please. Ron [uK]
  20. Sorry you couldn't open the *.pte file because of the missing SCC AV06.ico image. I have downloaded the whole file and whilst the *.ico appears to be there you are quite right, PTE is saying it is missing. When you open the *.pte file and the missing image message comes up, just click on the project options button and Main>Uncheck "Use your own icon". Hope that works for you. If you then Preview and the opening sequence finishes with a spin (inserted to allow a transition from Ver. 5.0 to Ver. 4.8) run your mouse over the portraits or logo. If the hand appears there is a sequence to open from that person or the Club. Ron [uK]
  21. Mike This has been dealt with before in version 4.0 and I placed an Intro Demo on the Beechbrook site some moons ago. But I have also placed a large file on my website where you will find it on the Links page, by clicking on the Sutton Camera Club logo lower left on the page. This was created using both versions 4.0 and 5.0 as some of the features needed are not yet available in 5.0 but I believe will be included in Beta #9. Be patient and good luck. Ron [uK]
  22. I too would like to welcome you, Marjolaine, to the forum and congratulate you on your presentation. How fortunate you were to have access to all those decorated eggs. In the UK, sadly, Easter eggs are disappearing from the shelves of local shopkeepers and one has to go to the larger stores and supermarkets to find them. Your English is excellent also, but I hope you will not mind a slight correction. The word is Easter without the 'n' - the Christian Festival of the Resurrection. Ron [uK]
  23. An excellent first attempt. Very realistic and useful as a background to a title sequence. Well done. Ron [uK]
  24. A soothing short sequence, well prepared and ideal for use as an iintro to a show. Thanks Giel. Ron [uK]
  25. Aztari In your original post you refer to e-mails. Are you sure that you didn't opt to receive an e-mail notification of any developments on a particular thread? The porn maniac has been posting on to old threads as well as initiating new ones. Ron [uK]
