Hi, PTE AV Studio 12.0.3 Beta is available: Added a 9:16 preset to Aspect Crop for image objects in the Objects and Animation editor. Added support for a .pte project file larger than 128 MB (now up to 512 MB) when using complex animation with thousands of objects. Typical project files are usually under 1 MB. Optimizing the animation is still recommended, as a very large project file may run slowly. Fixed an issue where some panoramic HEIC images failed to load. The ZOOM control will determine the height of your Text Box. You can also drag the corners of the Text Box to make it bigger or smaller. You determine the width of a string of text by pressing ENTER thus creating multiple lines of text. The only other controls that you might need are the Justification controls - Alignment, Line Spacing etc For TITLES and SUB-TITLES use separate Text Boxes of differing ZOOM sizes. DG

Hi Rosemary, Run PTE 11 and 12 one at a time and check the Preferences window (as Dave showed on the screenshots above). Do you have the same path to folder for custom slide styles and transitions in both versions? By default, custom styles and transitions are located in Documents > PicturesToExe > Styles and Transitions You can also create a backup of "Styles and Transitions" folder, just in case.

That's a bit too vague; could you be more specific, please?

Thank you! And yes, both the music and vocals were AI generated. He first created the lyrics by feeding ChatGPT a steam of thoughts with direction on how to create the lyrics for a song (verses, bridge, etc.). He then fed that into another program and directed the musical creation, including type of voice, genre, key, etc. etc. He is pretty musically inclined and has been doing music creation and mixing digitally for a while, so he could be pretty specific on what he wanted from the AI. Just FYI, we have also used AI to create a few instrumental only soundtracks for some of my photography videos that I am working on, eliminating the need to find royalty free music.

Dave, thank you for getting back to me. I can't see any difference in the folders for 11 and 12. I have removed 12 again and redownloaded. Still no styles or transition transfer and no option to carry them over from 11. I seem to remember with previous versions that transfer was offered. Rosemary

Hi, Please send me samples of these HEIC images. We'll check the code of the program. Since V12 we've used a new HEIC image loader, which works 2x faster on Mac than in V11. We've also added support for the Windows version.

Fully agree with Mark and Alex. Well done Question re the Ai aspect. Were both the music and vocals Ai generated?

PTE cannot load some of my .HEIC images (shot on an iPhone 17 pro). Most images import fine, but some panorama images (not all) result in this "Image load error". I cannot attach the images to this message because they are too big. @Igor: I will try to send the images by email.

That should happen automatically. Go to Settings/Templates/Folder for Custom Slide Styles etc and make sure that they are the same for both V11 and V12. You might have changed the default at some stage. DG

I have just bought PTE AV Studio 12. I didn't see the option to transfer my slide styles or transitions from PTE 11 to PTE12. Is this possible or am I missing something (again) Thanks, Rosemary

The song concept and lyrics were completely written, directed, and produced by my partner, while AI was used to shape the instrumentation and vocal layers based on original human songwriting. The music video features a blend of actual video footage and photography (mostly mine), some of which was animated with AI. Entire video created in PTE AV. I hope you enjoy it.
