  2. Greetings Jill, Yes, I understand this method and have used it. For short video clips, it works well. However, I was helping a friend that has a very long video...about an hour long. He wants to trim out many short clips from this video. To have to scroll around to find the next trim points in such a long video is a pain. And, when your method is used, each clip would have the same filename so that would also cause a problem. Using the Trim process, each clip can be saved as a different name to keep better track of the many multiple clips. I just think that the current process of using the Convert/Trim is really backwards when trying to use the triangles to establish the trim points. I'd like to make it logical and useful. Gary
  3. If you use the Timeline view rather than going into O&A to trim the video, then just play the video up to the point you want it to start. Then right click & Trim Beginning of video. For the end point I just drop the next slide in at the point I want it to end. If you don't get it exactly right then you can always fine tune it in O&A afterwards. I find this method quick & easy Jill
  4. Greetings, When I want to Trim a video, I play the video and stop it (red triangle) at the point that will be the beginning trim point. But I have to type in that time position (from the play line) where I stopped playing the video into the Start Time box to get the grey triangle to match up with the red triangle to establish the beginning trim point. The same process is needed to set the end trim point. It seems that this is a bit backwards. It would be more helpful if, after you set the red triangle where you want the beginning trim point to be established, all you should need to do is click in the Start Time box to bring the grey triangle to meet the red triangle’s position. And the same function should be made for the end trim point. The trim points, beginning and end, are usually positioned by sound when the video is played. The current way of setting the trim points seems backwards and more difficult than it needs to be. Am I missing anything…? Gary
  5. Last week
  6. Very nicely done, BD! I like it. I'll download it. You do good work! Thank you.
  7. Hi Friends, It's been another busy week creating music for clients, but I did manage to get some new tracks done to share with you all. They're on my Action page: "CAR THEFT 101" (LoFi) "NIGHT TIME ESCAPE" (LoFi) "GRUNGE STREET GAME" (LoFi) https://soundimage.org/action/ Speaking of custom music, if anyone needs some help, feel free to email me. You'll find my contact information here: https://soundimage.org/custom-work/ See you in July! 🙂
  8. Bravo, Jill!
  9. you go from 0 to 720 - so it gives a complete rotation twice. By going back to 0 it will rotate twice in the opposite direction, ie going back to the starting point. K3 needs to be 1440 for it to keep rotating twice more in the same direction Jill
  10. Then it stops rotating at KF2.
  11. Try leaving KF3 at C=720
  12. One object KF1 = Rotate C=0 KF2 = Rotate C=720 KF3 = Rotate C = 0 Not understanding why the rotation changes direction after KF2.
  13. Hi, I apologise for this problem. Probably you use an old release of V11 ? Please check the About window in PTE AV Studio. I highly recommend to install the latest version 11.0.18. Just download it from WnSoft website and install. All your settings and projects will be saved. I remember there was a similar issue which was solved more than one year ago.
  14. Hi, You can find more commands to adjust slide durations in a special button menu (in the Timeline mode).
  15. Thank you It is Broadwater National Park just south of where I live in Alstonville https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/visit-a-park/parks/broadwater-national-park
  16. I thought the limit was around 2Gb,
  17. Greetings Creatives, I've created some brand new textures that would be cool for sci-fi projects. You'll find them here: https://soundimage.org/txr-metal-seamless/ CUSTOM MUSIC Need some custom music created special for your project? I'd love to help out! To date, I've worked with around 100 content creators. My contact information is here: https://soundimage.org/custom-work/ Please stay safe and keep creating. 🙂
  18. The limit may be 4Gb.
  19. The Slide Time in Project Options is the default time when adding new Slides. You Adjust the Time for existing Slides in Timeline View. Move the Slides/Videos along the Timeline to fit your Music. If you have 'Sync Slides to Music' unticked then when you play Full screen the music will always start at the beginning. If 'Sync' is ticked then the music plays from the point you are at in the Timeline. When playing in the Timeline view in the Mini Preview window, the music always plays from the point you are at regardless of the setting of 'Sync' It was exactly the same in V10, no changes in V11 Jill
  20. does anyone know why the zip backup option does not work for what i am assuming are large projects. i dont have a problem for small shows but when the show is of largeish size it does not produce a useable zip file. thanks in advance
  21. thanks for response Macian, yes am altering slide duration now even though process is a bit laborious. i am an ex proshow user which had some very useful features for this type of thing.
  22. Thanks Jill, I'll try to make a copy and check the sync box, but as for the duration, my photos don't all have the same duration and so how do I check the apply to all slides box, without putting a time?
  23. I have not had any of these problems that you describe. There is no difference between V10 & V11 that would cause this. Even if you wish to adjust the music manually you still need to keep the 'Sync Music to Slides' ticked, so that it will play correctly with the Slides. I do not understand how the timings can change when you save the show & reopen it. Make sure you are using the latest version 11 & also untick 'Full Duration' as this can cause problems if you move Slides to different position or even adjust the timings. Jill
  24. I find in version 11 Pro several problems that I didn't have with version 10, and it really complicates my work, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or if it only happens to me because I make long audiovisuals, on average they are over 40 minutes and therefore it really takes me much longer because even if I save the work when I reopen the project I find that PTE has made changes. For example, in the project option for music I deactivated the "sync music to slides" box, because I prefer to adapt the music manually in my audiovisuals that are made up of photos and video clips. Unfortunately it seems that PTE does not respect my choice in fact it always changes the timing of the slides especially in those positioned before a video, (for example a photo before a video is on 7 seconds and the video on 25 seconds, I save and when I reopen the project to continue working the photo is on 25 and the video on 7 i.e. inverted and I really do not understand why, so every time I have to check and change the timing again before being able to finish and publish, also generally the slides go from 5 seconds to 7, while PTE changes them some are 3 seconds others 9, it is really frustrating. Furthermore I also noticed several problems with the preview, the music is not synchronized as when I watch the video from the timeline, and this is a big problem. I hope you can understand my post because I do not speak English and I used google translate.
  25. Nicely photographed and produced. WHich park is it??
