Igor, hello! After saving the slide, the Master Track video file saves correctly and works properly. I had a problem with the Master Track earlier. I had to move the project to version 11 and finish the work there. Now everything is working well. I didn’t write to you because you were already aware of this issue.

Hello, I know that this request may be somewhat difficult for programmers to implement, but having a second timeline would make work much easier and allow certain tasks to be completed much more quickly. For example, placing an image with a transparent background to play for a certain amount of time. This image could be text. With this option, there would be no need for a text editor or text styles, which, incidentally, are few and far between, poor, and simple. The possibilities are endless, and it would be quick to work with. I hope you can see this possibility, just like having two timelines for audio. What do you think? Would it be possible? Thank you.

Quick Search now includes a filter for the number of images required by slide styles. Quick Search is now accent-insensitive: typing "a" will match both "a" and "à" - great for non-English style names. It works in Project Options, Slide Options, and Styles and Themes. Fixed an issue with copying slides with Master video track objects. Fixed an issue with not working Safe executable for PC option in the Publish menu.

We've improved the Quick search function for the next Beta 7 (in several days). It will search for accented and unaccented letters.

Hi Igor, I have managed to recreate the Master/Linked Video section in V12. I had to completely delete the Video from all Slides, then I was able to add it again as Master on Slide 1 then Linked on the other Slides. So no rush to fix this now. Thanks Jill

Hi. Thanks for the positive feedback on the project. It used to be difficult to find music for projects. Now, at Suno, I create music for my own work. This has made it easier to find music for projects.

Thanks Igor, I can only do it once in PTE11 to a new Project, then it no longer works. Hopefully I can manage a work around as trying to complete my AV for Friday & still have a lot to do!! It started when I opened the Project in PTE12 to use the new Audio Objects in O&A. I added the Audio Object (Click4) to the Slide before the Master Video one. Not sure exactly what I did next as I was copying & pasting Objects from other Slides to get the effect I wanted behind the video. But it suddenly stopped working correctly. I saved it as a new file name & tried opening that in PTE11, but it still didn't work. I didn't get any warning message that I was opening in an older version of PTE which normally happens. The Audio Object still showed in the list of Objects but there was no sound in PTE11 (as expected) Jill

Hi Jill, Thanks for your message! I confirm the issue with Master/linked video objects. In V12 it is NOT possible to copy and paste a slide which contains a Master video / Linked video object. If I start a new project in V11, create a series of slides with Master/video objects, these slides are being copied/pasted correctly. Please wait when we fix this problem for V12. I'll try to do it quickly.

PTE12 beta 5 I am currently working on a project, (started in V11.0.20) that needs to be completed in the next couple of days. Within the Project I have 5 Slides, the first has a Video set as Master Video, the other 4 have the same video as Linked. The Video is muted and a separate soundtrack is added linked to the first Slide. It all went wrong last night & so far I can't get it to work. So I tried setting it up in a new Project. When I set this up in a new project it all works fine. But when I copy these 5 Slides to my main Project the Video is no longer Master & Linked. Trying to reset the Video on the first Slide no longer works, I click Master Video but it does nothing. I have tried Deleting the previously Linked Video from Slides 2 to 5, but I still cannot set the Video to Master on Slide 1. It is though something has broken and can't be reset. In fact I now cannot even Paste into V12, the Paste option is there on right click but nothing happens. I have tried the same thing in PTE11.0.20 & it doesn't work there. I have tried copying from PTE 11 to PTE 12 & it still won't work. Once the Master - Linked Video is broken it cannot be reset. I will have another try later today to see if I can repair my master Project, and try to get a clear set of steps. Any suggestions please - Igor I can send you Slides if needed. Jill
