  2. Thank you! It's so diverse and yet so beautiful. I wish you a new year full of travel and wonderful experiences! I also really enjoy panoramic photography.
  3. Thanks for the beautiful views. The timelaps are impressive. Do panoramic photos also look original, as far as I understand they have fisheye applied to them? The mix is also peculiar, a landscape with a wild coast turning into the facade of a skyscraper... Good luck in your creative work! I'm waiting for new jobs.

  5. Mark, thank you for sharing beautiful photos and videos! Amazing views, animals, birds, beautiful palaces and squares of Europe. Music can add accents. Sometimes lyrical, sometimes dynamic. Good luck!
  6. Thanks Alex, the final version may not change that much. Interesting comment about the music, I thought it was very quirky and suitable and was not looking to change it - mainly images. Music is much more personal than images and takes more time to select for me. Obviously, copyright is not an issue with the images but most "popular" music has associated copyright. Maybe I will give this more thought in the final version. Thanks again for commenting and making me think. Mark
  7. digartal, Thanks for the comment. I just like to draw. But sometimes I pick up a camera and a video camera, depending on the situation or mood. This is especially facilitated by the visit of the grandchildren.๐Ÿ™‚
  8. Mark, Nice stories. Sounds like you need some good music now. Don't forget to show us the final thing. Alex

  10. Thanks for sharing this - very well done animations. I am more of a photographer that makes AV's than a digital creator that makes presentation but I can appreiate the work in creating this. Thank you again for sharing. Mark
  11. Hello everyone Best wishes for a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I have started creating an AV of my travels this year. I was aiming for one photo per week but did not quite achieve my goal. Most weeks I take hundreds if not thousands of photos depending on location and subject. I spent 6 weeks in Europe in April - June, so there are a few more from this trip to the other side of the world. The images are captured on a mirrorless camera, drone, mobile camera/phone and 360 camera. This may not be the final AV but it will be very close. Cheers Mark
  12. Hello to all forum members. I bring to your attention a festive Christmas video. Description and download link for the YouTube video. Congratulations on the wonderful upcoming holidays. I wish you creative success and good health.

  14. I think what I have been doing as a work-around was to go ahead and apply the theme/style to the bunch of slides and then go back and select all of the slides in question on the slide view line and change the duration back to what I originally had it (usually 8 seconds for most cases) and that takes care of it in one step. Of course there are some slides where I wish to keep the duration from the style so I go back after-the-fact and verify/tweak once again. I have also sometimes made the mistake of selecting a number of slides for applying a style not realizing that one or more slides in the sequence were actually mp4 videos. I think I was suggesting in the past that it would be nice to easily distinguish jpg slides from mp4 slides in the slide view other than noting the longer duration.
  15. You assume correctly, that the Durations are set and "baked-in" by the author of the Style. A couple of suggestions. You could apply the Style to one image and make your required changes. You could then create a New Style with a new name from those changes and apply to other slides. This is only helpful if you have consistent Durations. If you do not want to Create a new Style you could use the Quick Style feature to copy your changes to the other Slides as necessary. DG
  16. Igor, Thank You. I'm wishing you peace this Christmas and a New Year full of peace promises. Best
  17. Hi Everyone, I've been super-busy, but I did create a new production bed to share with you all...it's really fun: "THE DIXIELAND BAND" You'll find it here: https://soundimage.org/jazz-big-band/ As always, it's 100% free to use in your projects with attribution, just like my thousands of other music tracks, sounds and images. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜„
  18. Hi Alex, thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas!
  19. Hello I am by no means an expert or Advanced User as I tend to do the same thing all the time and omly make AV's of my images. One thing that I found was that if I deleted the image from the "Timeline" tab, the slide time was altered automatically. If you deleted it from the "Slides" tab and had unlinked, you could manually adjust the slide and audio timing. Hope this helps. Mark
  20. Mark, Thank You. My warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a bright New Year! Alex

  22. Are you sure that you have added the image as a separate Object & it is not a Child of an existing Object. Before you add the new image make sure you Click off any other Objects. Click in a blank Space in the Object Panel bottom right of the O&A window. Your new image should then appear at the top of the stack & you should be able to see it. Even after using PTE for more than 20 years it is a mistake I still occasionally make when working in a rush Jill
  23. I am using PtE Deluxe 9.0.22 On several occasions now I have brought in an image to a project, but when I open that image in Objects & Animation I can't see the image. If I click on the space, I see an outline frame. The images are JPGs and I can see them in both slide and timeline views. This continues even after leaving the project and closing PtE Has anyone else experienced this ?
  24. Fabulous, great show, very well done. Best wishes to you and your family for safe, happy and festive Christmas. Mark
  25. Rene, May 2026th and the entire year bring you all the best as well, filled with happiness, success, and peace. Alex
  26. Hello Alex, thank you for this New Year's card for 2025/early 2026. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones. Renรฉ
  27. It has been a while since creating a vacation slideshow so I may have asked this before but just forgot the answer. If I place slides in the slideview line or timeline and set the duration of each to be some consistent number (e.g., 8 seconds) but then apply something like the Ken Burns theme to some or all of the slides the duration of each changes. This works sometimes but sometimes not so I need to go in and tweak the durations on the slides. I assume the duration change is by intent depending on the style/theme being applied, but is there any way to lock the durations?
  28. Rosemary A, Thank You. I appreciate your kind comments. My best wishes for happy holidays and a wonderful New Year! Alex
