The video convertor will be included to one of following beta versions in three weeks or so.

Tom, I've removed this function. It's a rarely used feature which complicates the program. Since following Beta 9 it will possible select several slides and set one text comment for these slides. I think it more handy and flexible.

Barry, Navigation bar can be very useful for viewers of your AV shows. Not for all kind of shows, but for many ones, I think. You can disable Navigation bar at all in 3 clicks (Project options | Main tab | "Show Navigation Bar"). We can try add safe time interval after startup of a show, say 1 second to prevent casual appearing of the navigation bar.

Peter, I was told the good solution for the issue with window of PicturesToExe after installation. This will be included to following Beta 9.

Lin, Excellent work! Many times when I read critiques on video in AV shows, I wanted reply - use wisely video clips. It is a well answer HOW good it can be implemented to AV show.
-
Bernard, It's very interesting problem. How you guessed that it's related with QuickTime? Could you please give a link to any article or forum's post.
-
Thanks, Ken! I'll check today later.

Thanks! I confirm this bug. PicturesToExe updates the list of linked video clips when you open or re-load a project. At that moment deleted master clips will be removed from the list. This automated management gives ability cut linked video clips and paste to another slide. In other case links could be lost and settings will be lost.

Thanks, this is fixed in Beta 7. Please download this new beta.

PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 7 is available now. Download link in the first post above. List of changes: * Fixed bug (v7.0 Beta 6) with jerky playback of a video track placed across several slides. * Fixed bug (v7.0 Beta 6) with crashing of PicturesToExe after deleting of slide with master video track object. * Fixed bug (v7.0 Beta 1-6) with synchronization of audio and video in some video files (H.264 and FLV). * Fixed issue (v5.6.0-v7.0 Beta 6) with rewinding to last slide when paused.

Lin, Sorry, I didn't understood your question. Video track starts on a slide where located master video track object. Video track can't be paused, impossible add pauses. For example, video track for Video.avi file is 60 seconds. And we put master video track object to the 1st slide. Now we can only add linked video objects to other slides and they just "reveal" video track on the screen. These linked video objects can't change any time or duration parameters of video track. We can only use opacity or time range to control visibility of video track on the screen. Linked video objects are "windows" to see picture behind. .........[-------Video Track----------------] .........[Master] [Linked1].........[Linked2] [slide1] [slide2] [slide3] [slide4] [slide5]
-
Lin, All linked video clips share common parameters: - Start time - Duration - Offset So you needn't adjust these parameters on each slide for each linked video clip object.

Thanks. Please don't worry I can work, just my doctor recommended me take more breaks for rest during a day for well recovery.

Thanks for all responses! Probably I will reply with delays next three weeks, because I have to visit hospital every day to find reason of my headaches (I have this problem almost every day). The most likely it's nervious fatigue.

nobeefstu, This is not a bug indeed. We can't set size of entire window including borders around a window, because proportions of a window varies depending on version of operation system and used graphical theme. Aspect ratio of window will be different in this case. For this reason we set size of internal part of window.

Gary, nobeefstu, Thanks, we'll try fix it.
-
Tom, I think it's related with edge-antialiasing technology.
-
Thank you very much for your suggestions!

Tom, After the more attentive testing we have discovered that that the issue with perspective correction is not a bug. It really works as it should. The problem in parameters of this frame object. An initial zoom state of the frame is very small - 0.001 x 0.001 and the last keypoint is 232.381 x 232.381. Increase zoom parameters at first keypoint and it will solve the problem. You can observe same visual result if you adjust Z position of this object.

Thanks, it will be fixed in Beta 6. OK. We agree. Slide duration will be updated in case of two conditions: 1) A video object should be a main video (added through the Slide list). 2) Duration of a slide was equal to video clip duration before replacement. It should protect against mistake when user customized slide duration manually. Tom, Sorry, I can't discover this problem here. Please describe me in more details what happens at that time point? I see that text object disappears for a moment at at reached 90 or 270 degree. If it possible, with a screenshot or video record. Or you can use Objects and animation editor to change time cursor. Thanks, I've reproduced this bug.
