  1. Dave, Success, at last! Thanks, I see it now.
  2. Dave, Sorry, I still can't reproduce this bug. Could you please tell step-by-step?
  3. Please read my reply here:
  4. Thanks for your comments!
  5. Hello Jean-Pierre, It's a very interesting problem! Please could you save this project by another file name and leave only one slide with this image file (bird). Then please send me project file and image in ZIP archive (you can use "Create backup in ZIP" function in the main menu | File). And upload file to www.mediafire.com Also could you check up display settings that it set to 32-bit color. Thanks in advance! P.S. Thanks Lin for the translation!
  6. Hello, Thanks for your report! Please could you repeat the problem with adding of background music and give me step-by-step instruction to reproduce this issue? Other problems probably happened because the project file was damaged after the first error.
  7. We launched an updated WnSoft web site today. And we plan improve it continuously with new information. http://www.wnsoft.com
  8. Do you mean connecting/disconnecting of monitor? Sorry for obvious request, but please make sure that you're testing latest Beta 11. I thought we fixed this issue. Probably it's a different situation, because we tested with desktop PC. Please send me screenshot of entire screen.
  9. I think it's a right behaviour of PicturesToExe. But I agree that it may cause misunderstanding. So I suggest automatically rename video clip when it linked to a master video clip to have same name (excluding a case when it had an unique name set by user).
  10. Barry, You have raised a good point, but I don't see a simple solution for adjusting of last slide to the end of background music. PicturesToExe optimized for manual settings of slides and it conflicts with automatic options like this. For example: 1. What should happen if you move last slide to another place in the slide list? What slide duration will be for new last slide and for old last slide? 2. What happens if you add a new slide to the end slide list in the Slide list mode? Should it reduce duration of current last slide to fit a new slide within background music?
  11. Please send me sample video clip. We'll check up. Barry, Could you please try reproduce this situation again? I'm afraid I need exact step by step instruction and project files to recreate this problem and fix it. Also does the Project options window was opened when this error occured? Thanks in advance.
  12. You can try now Beta 11 with the new conception of slide duration.
  13. PicturesToExe Deluxe 7.0 Beta 11 is available now. The most significant change in this beta version related with slide duration. Please read my post here: Download link in the first post above. List of changes: + PicturesToExe now shows full slide duration in the Slide list, the Customize slide window, and in the Project options. Full slide duration is a pure slide duration including duration of transition effect to next slide. Also the program keeps full duration of slides after moving of slide(s) or after adding of new slides. You can disable this mode. See options "Show full slide durations" and "Keep full slide duration" (Main menu | View | Advanced Options). + Added the program option "Set Video Editor". See the main menu | View | Advanced Options. Then choose a video file in the Slide list or in the File list, click right mouse button to show popup menu and click "Edit file". + Replacement of a main image/video file will update related object name (if user didn't change object name manually) * Improved stability of PicturesToExe. * Improved stability of VideoBuilder and compatibility with DVD drives. * Fixed problems (v5.6-7.0 Beta 10) with creating of H.264 video (MP4, YouTube/Facebook, iPhone/iPad video) on some PCs. * Fixed issues (v4.20-7.0 Beta 10) with creating of AVI video files on some PCs. * Fixed bug (v5.50-7.0 Beta 10) with edit controls with a slider (for example "Opacity" in the Objects & Animation editor) on a PC with two monitors. * Fixed bug (v7.0 Beta 1-10) with launching of another show which contains video clips using "Run slideshow" command. * Fixed several old bugs in the timeline.
  14. It should work. I just created a short sequence and tested it on my Mac with OS X 10.5 Leopard. "Go to slide" command worked fine (for slide name and for slide number). Could you please check up again or give me a link to show where it doesn't work?
  15. Dave, Thanks for details! 1. Please try to load this project in version 6.5 (ignoring a warning of possible incompatibility). Will same problem occur there? 2. Try save the project by another name and modify it keeping only one-three slides - just to reproduce the problem. And if it possible publish executable file on the forum learn feedback from other users. 3. Try run the executable with this problem on another PC. What result it will give? Thank you in advance!
  16. Dave, Thanks for the sample project! But I still can not reproduce this problem. 1. Do I understand rightly that you're speaking about 2nd slide with rotating message? Looping is flawless on my PC. 2. Did you have this problem with previous version 6.5? 3. What version of Windows do you use? 4. Do you see this problem in both - executable file and in fullscreen preview?
  17. Dave, Please upload ZIP file to www.mediafire.com
  18. Dave, Yes, I've understood And I reproduced this problem after reading your first description. But you also wrote above: And I've replied:
  19. Dave, Thanks, I'm checking up now for the problem with a second monitor. But I was asking for another problem you've described here: Update: I've downloaded the test project. It doesn't contain a looped slide.
  20. Version 4.49 should solve this problem. Also you can use a special utility to convert old slides to provide compatibility with Windows Vista and Windows 7.
  21. Is it possible to obtain a copy of this project with source files? I can try reproduce this problem. If yes, please upload files via www.mediafire.com or Dropbox and send me a download link on your reply or in private message.
  22. All I can say for now - we're creating a good solution for this problem. No details, sorry.
  23. Hello Robert, Do you see any picture for this video clip converted to AVI format and added to PicturesToExe? I've downloaded this software and converted short video clip to AVI with same settings as yours. And I can see picture, but there are issues with performance during playback. It's related with H.264 video codec and highest resolution. PicturesToExe can't play in real time this format, because we need to mix video with other layers and apply 3D effects. Playback in usual video players is more simple technically. Please convert to AVI format using DIVX, XVID or MPEG4-ASP video codec. One of following beta versions will include built-in video convertor. And PicturesToExe will suggest user converting for incompatible video clips (optionally). Also there is no need set 1920x1080 resolution for output in convertor, because as I discovered Canon DSLR cameras 5D, 7D, 550D, 600D (and probably others digital cameras) don't record true FullHD 1920x1080 resolution. For more details, please see my investigation here: I can extract frames from video clips for comparison.
  24. I'm afraid this video file can not played directly. There are several issues with rewinding that causes error with playback. Future built-in converter in PicturesToExe should help. Some video players (VLC and GomPlayer) also crash or play incorrectly this file. Dave, Does this slide contain video clip? Please send me test project with this problem. We'll check up. Thanks, I'll check up. Mac output is not ready in these beta releases.
  25. The suggested automatic time correction of full slide duration works only when you change an order of slides or add new slides to end of the slide list. If you manually adjust duration of transition effect the correction will not be performed.
