Bernard, Regarding output quality in video converter. Above mentioned software convert video clips to H.264 format which gives smaller file size, it but takes more CPU loading for further decoding. In PicturesToExe we have to play video clips in real time (sometimes in complex scenes) and we need use less "heavy" video format. Our video converter outputs video in MPEG4-ASP format which optimal for real time playback in executable slideshows. Please send me source video file and converted. I'll check up. We'll try solve incompatibility with MP3 files saved in Camtasia. For Mac executables we use an audio decoder provided by Mac OSX and probably something changed there. Thanks for your report! 1. I'll be out of office for 2 weeks from July 27 to August 9 to visit several events in Estonia and spend some time in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Indeed I didn't plan my vacation before final release of version 7.0, but I have to visit Estonia and it's more easy continue my trip to nearest countries with open visas. I bring apologies for a delay with the release date and delays with my replies on the forum and emails. In my absence my colleagues should finish video convertor for version 7.0 and probably we will able adapt slideshow's engine (executables) for Mac with all features of version 7.0. Good news are that we even started work on following version 7.5 and already finished one major improvement. Future version will be a great step in evolution of PicturesToExe.

Currently almost all software are 32-bit. Windows will support 32-bit executables many years. I think you needn't worry about this. Slideshows rarely require memory larger than 2 GB. Also producing of two files (for 32-bit and 64-bit) can make a mess for many users.

We still can't exactly hear this audio delay. 1. Can you please prepare another sample video where I could find exact "marks" for synchronization? For example, voice starts exactly with a flash of white rectangle. 2. Time position where you find audio delay (and value of time day, for example 1 second). 3. Do you observe time delay in both cases - start of a show from beginning and after rewinding? Thanks,

Barry, Thank you for the file! I've reproduced this problem which occurs under OS X 10.6 (no problem with 10.5.x). This bug related with this particular MP3 file. If I remove it or replace to another MP3 file, the shows starts sucessfully. What software you've used to encode this MP3 file? There are two variants - bug in code of PicturesToExe or this audio file is damaged.

Dave, Thanks for sample show and project file. I've tested "HAY 11_6_25 for MAC7.zip" show for Mac and I confirm this problem. This problem happens only in version 7.0 Beta because the show has enabled the navigation bar. It's a known issue with current beta versions. To solve this problem, please turn off "Show Navigation bar" option in the Project options, the Main tab. And then create executable for Mac again. To avoid similar problems, since Beta 14 we will automatically disable navigation bar option for Mac while this feature is not finished for Mac.

FFMpeg library supports transparent video in FLV format. We will implement playback of 32-bit video clips in following version(s).
