  1. Please try updated version 5.52 http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=54925
  2. Updated build 5.52 (July 15, 2008): http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe.zip (5 MB) * Fixed problem with too high memory usage in the main program of PicturesToExe, especially in case of large images of slides. (The problem doesn't affect on created EXE file of a slideshow.)
  3. I just added this correction to future version - Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V shortcuts. And Del or Shift+Del depending on current view - Slide list or Timeline. Thanks,
  4. Please don't create EXE file of slideshow more than 2 GB.
  5. Excuse me, Xaver! I've edited my previous post.
  6. Updated build 5.5.1 (July 8, 2008): http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe.zip (5 MB) + Updated language files: Chinese, English, Farsi, French. * Fixed bugs in fullscreen view of Slide list opened from Timeline mode (selecting slides with pressed Ctrl key, deleting slides by Del key). * Fixed incorrect work of "Arrange All Points" function when no music. * Fixed bug with displaying effect time ("About 3 seconds") in "Effects" tab of Project options.
  7. Xaver, I wouldn't change more in v5.5, please let raise this question later for v5.6 I did Del key for cutting slide(s) in the Timeline because some users very asked for this.
  8. Please try updated 5.51 Beta: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip
  9. Peter, I'll fix both bugs in the nearest update 5.5.1 Thanks,
  10. I'll enable music/sound playback when you click "Play" button in Objects & Animation window in next v5.6. Not sure about waveform, but at least music will play.
  11. Jim, As I've understood, version 5.1 works fine and the problem only when you try to use newest 5.5? If yes, please uninstall 5.5 again, and make new installation without importing settings from previous version. Do you see welcome screen right after installation (demo slideshow in small window with white borders "Welcome to PicturesToExe...")? Then try to add another JPEG images for first slide. How it works now?

    Vacation

I came back from Great Britain. It was a wonderful journey. Many thanks to Maureen Albright for her invitation to participate in IRIS-25 photo competition!
  13. -slide 7 -cover Pan & scan picture to remove black strips around the slide if slideshow created with different aspect ratio than display.
  14. Press Release: WnSoft Announces the Release of PicturesToExe Deluxe 5.5 With New Features http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/press-release/pte-55.html
  15. If you want to run a new slideshow from 7th slide, type: Slideshow.exe -slide 7
  16. Jim, I have got a reply from Invision:
  17. I've sent request to Invision's support.
  18. I shall have two weeks of vacation from June 12th up to June 30th. I'll try to visit the forum from time to time.
  19. Mike, Before you send the file, do you see that problem on these slideshows: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PteShow.zip http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PaintsOfSummer.zip p.s. according our experience I think that problem can be in damaged settings of DirectX or drivers of a video card. Please download and install latest DirectX from Microsoft's website and newest drivers for your video card.
  20. Esben, Probably there are large images with very close interval between them? In this case transition effect may interrupts to show next slide in time.
  21. Thanks, Peter! I'll fix in the nearest update.
  22. Mike, Please couldn't you publish your slideshow? I'll check up. We didn't change slideshow's engine of EXE file in v5.5 It's exactly same as in previous v5.1.
  23. In fact we didn't change format of .pte project file in v5.5 As I remember I've only deleted several fields which not presented in v5.xx anymore.
  24. We already have a very good progress with the next version 5.6. Some new (and often requested) features have reached an alpha state. I plan to announce new features later in June. Ray, You're right, thanks! I just asked our technical writer to rework a description of this option. We'll update PDF file tomorrow.
  25. Thanks!
