  1. I like that you used 1.5 aspect ratio. Fresh look. By the way, we added special command line parameter -cover For example, when I watch your slide-show on 15" display with aspect ratio 4:3 I see black strips on top and bottom. But If I type test.exe -cover I'll see picture covered entire screen. Of course, with this parameter some part of picture will be left outside of the screen.
  2. Yes, run for 1 minute or so, when press Esc and start again. Run a couple of times every variant.
  3. bmccammon, Please run again several times both variants. It's very important for us.
  4. I'm very grateful to you! We found two different bugs in PTE and will fix them now. Don't send the project, please. I reproduced it now.
  5. PixBuilder Studio v1.30 http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4341
  6. If somebody can help us with testing of v5.00 for memory leaks. Please download this special version of my PteShow demo. http://www.wnsoft.com/test/LeaksTest.zip (13 MB) Don't run directly PteShow.exe file. Run several times WithMusic.bat and NoMusic.bat files If you found memory leak message when you close slide-show. Please let me know where it happened in variant with music or in variant without music.
  7. Adda, Please write me to int_support (at) wnsoft.com 1) So you can run produced EXE file, but can't run Preview from PTE? What exactly happens when you press Preview button? 2) Try to call "Create slide-show and Run" (or Ctrl+F9) from main menu. Will it work? p.s. Thanks for your slide-show! bfreas, Please also write me to int_support (at) wnsoft.com and send this project as ZIP archive (from Main menu | File | Create backup in ZIP). LumenLux, I just sent you email. Please read it, if you didn't receive it. Write me a letter to int_support (at) wnsoft.com
  8. It's only visual effect. Currently Pan/Zoom are linear with constant speed.
  9. Try new function in v5.00 - main menu | File | Create backup in ZIP archive.
  10. We solved this problem today. I think much more reliable beta #2 will be ready in 1-2 days.
  11. Invision updated our forum with latest security patches today. Please let me know if you'll find any problem.
  12. Richard, In fact all Pan/Zoom effect do video card only. CPU loads new images and plays music and some calculations. However we use even several threads, but they have small load for CPU.
  13. Al, Sorry for this limitation! I just increased limit from 1000 to 100 000 in beta #2. I hope it will enough.
  14. Thank you, Dave! We'll fix this problem. It's bug in this particular model of video card. But we'll solve this problem in all similar cases with gamma level.
  15. Ken, Please try with another MIDI file. If problem happens only with this particular MIDI file, send it to me int_support (AT) wnsoft.com
  16. Granot, Custom window, in the next beta(s). Endless panorama - only if you place several slides with same 360's panorama.
  17. Thank you, Lin! Hot keys in the Visual editor: "/" and "*" (on additional keyboard) to set scale of a slide to 100% and Auto Free resizing of an image when you hold Shift key. Hold Shift key when you need to move image exactly horizontally or vertically. Multiselect with Ctrl key or with mouse selection.
  18. Ken, In v5.00 I've added Large fonts support. After settings Large font mode Windows requires to restart and after it all should work well? Please send me screenshot to int_support /-at-/ wnsoft.com
  19. Dave, please download these test examples: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/GammaTest.zip You'll find 3 EXE files and JPEG image to compare. Please let me know what examples will have normal brightness and high brightness.
  20. So even in Visual editor images OK ("Objects and animation" button), but in Preview and in EXE file image look brighter? What video card you have? It could happens if you've adjusted brightness/gamma for fullscreen applications (for games) in settings of video card. But I did several steps to prevent this problem. I'm wondered that this problem happened.
  21. I'll fix this moment in the next beta. By default v5.00 installer will suggest another folder than previous v4.xx
  22. For Pan/Zoom in fact only video card is the most important factor. Almost any CPU and memory size at least 256 MB NVIDIA Geforce 4 Ti4200, 5600 or 6600 (or ATI Radeon 9600, X600) already in several times more powerful than v5.00 requires for Pan/Zoom. So no need for more powerful video. I already don't speak about Geforce 7900/Radeon X1900 where we can load only 5 or 10% of this video card I think after releasing of Windows Vista (January of 2007) almost all video cards will be quickly upgraded. So all laptops/PC will have powerful video cards. Their new 3D Aero Glass user interface requires very powerful video card. Reliability of DirectX and video drivers also will be very high, because Windows Vista will be built on DirectX.
  23. Ron, Thank you that you noticed it. We'll work with this question.
  24. Al, Text objects will be in the next beta versions, but please download source files of my PteShow demo and you'll find that I used graphical editor to create perfect text with fine smooth shadow and saved it as transparent PNG image. One large text labels with shadow takes only 40 KB of file size. Patrick, OK! After this additional month or two, pleas write me all what you think about PTE and v5.00 in particularity
  25. I really wondered how you quickly learned all new functions of the Visual editor! Thank you. I many times worried that Visual editor maybe looks too difficult for first understanding. But I didn't find other variants to provide you more simple inteface for individual animation of every object.
