I am using V9 and seem to have lost the dissolve time bar in the time line. Is this to be expected and if not how do I get it back?

I have just experienced problems with programmes made with V10 - 64 bit not being recognised by my computer running 32 bit. Is there any solution other than to revert to making the programme in V 9

This is very basic as am I. I want to have a helicopter fly out of an image. I have the sky background and the helicopter as a separate image but how to do it has beaten me.

I know the answer is there somewhere but my searches show nothing of any help. I have added an enhanced video to my av but wish to edit out some unusable frames. Just how do I do it. Thanks Mike Reed

Dave I have done both but it still does not work. I am using PTE 9. I have even tried ticking apply to all slides but to no avail. Not too sure what you meant by use COMMENT

Mainly descriptive and as the font I am using is well down the list (mistral)it is a pain to have to start at Aerial each time. The text is not on every slide but enough to be a nuisance.

Is there any way to select a font and colour for the entire production rather than having to reset both for each slide.

I still prefer to compile my sound tracks using Adobe Audition 1.5 on Windows XP. For some reason of late when wanting to record a sound track from an MP3 file the record function does not pick up the wave form or record the sound. The programme does record off CD's without any problem Does anybody have an idea what has gone wrong? Mike Reed

I just cannot fathom why I have managed to get the slide view just showing the slide titles not the thumbnails as has always happened before. I have pressed every button in sight and cannot get back to the thumbnail. The time line is perfectly ok. I am sure it is quite simple really.

Thanks Send in the clowns worked after removing the Transparent selection but Thistlegorm and the Exit button still refuse to work and now come up with a Security warning even though I have disabled AVG which is what I use.

Hi Lin I attach the exe and pte files. The middle and the exit buttons seem to work but not the other two. Any ideas? I have tried to do it on four occasions each time with the same result. Menu 2.exe Menu 2.pte

Hi Lin I am using Version 8 and started from scratch this morning with a Jpeg image as the background upon which I placed the buttons. I will copy the exe file and prepare a template tomorrow and if you agree send it to you. I was asked to produce a memorial to a good friend who himself was a prolific Aver. It contains three of his AV's that I have downloaded into a new folder. Many thanks Mike

I have always constructed a menu for an AV show by using the button in the object and animation window and the instruction 'open file etc' Using v8. For some unexplained reason the buttons are not working. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Barry My solution was two images one with the building illuminated and the other with it in darkness (both cut outs saved as PNG's) and suitable sky on a separate layer I then did a long dissolve between the two. I thought that the moving sun was a bit too cheesy.

I am trying to create a sunset behind a building. I have got the background sun moving as I require but cannot see how to change the brightness of the foreground building. I have tried to drop new images of the building suitably darkened into the time line of the animation but this does not work. Any ideas will be gratefully received.
