  1. Hi all, Thank you for your comments. I was impressed with the zoom and overall impressed with the camcorder. Will be visiting the ATC control tower at our international airport next week, so will try out the zoom there from the tower as it is situated fairly far from the runway and airport terminal. Depending on weather and footage I obtain, will put together a presentation. Best wished for 2012. Colin
  2. Andrew, A fitting tribute to the lads home coming. Very nice presentation which I enjoyed. Wishing you all the best for 2012. Colin
  3. In order to test out the zoom on my camcorder, I ventured out into the garden and found as my subject, a fly and ants. The presentation consists of a number of edited video clips and slides and is large in size due to the video taken in HD. The exe file can be downloaded from Mediafire (link below). The presentation was made with version 7. http://www.mediafire.com/?85jkyaywhhs5y67 For those who do not want to download a large file, the same presentation can be watched on my account in You Tube. The link is provided below. The video is in HD Colin
  4. Hi Ken, I am now: AVG 2012.0.1901 DAT 2109/4698 Colin
  5. Hi Gary, A brilliant show, the video showing all the action and what it is like ziplining. I loved the section where you had the 3 videos, very well done. The videos were very clear in my opinion. We did some ziplining in the Caribbean, a wonderful experience. Not so good when you do not quite make it to the platform and you have to resort to pulling yourself up to the platform. Thank you for sharing a wonderful adventure. Colin
  6. A big thank you to all for your wishes and comments. Family and friends who have viewed this via You Tube have enjoyed it and the bit of humour added. Davy, I knew you would enjoy this with your sense of humour. Best regards, Colin
  7. Hubert, A very interesting place to visit with a unique landscape. The presentation was very good with the sound effects. The movement of the hot air balloons was well done, especially with the shadow of the balloon. I did find the end credits were a bit rushed, possibly to sync with the ending of the music. Otherwise a very good presentation which I enjoyed. Colin
  8. Hi all, May I take this opportunity of wishing you and your families a blessed Christmas. I have produced a small animated Christmas presentation for fun and my wish to all friends. The EXE file has been tested by one of the forum moderators and all seems ok. The presentation was made in version 7.0. http://www.mediafire.com/?gpljarwegpd2b2w Best regards, Colin
  9. Barry, I never intended putting up this comment expecting you to do something about it. I was adding to Ken's comment. It is easy for you to say dump it. I have the paid version and as I have said before, I intend living with it. If I had the free version, then I would think about an alternative. PTE is the only problem I am having with AVG, and I did not purchase it and install it solely for PTE. Why tolerate it? Well maybe I am a tolerant person!!!! Colin
  10. Barry, Have the same problem as Ken. Would love to view your presentation, but AVG not allowing me to. Colin
  11. Ken, I also downloaded Barry's "Dawn" this morning and received 2 virus warnings. I did not open the file and deleted it. Colin
  12. WOW Lin, that was amazing. I see you love a challenge and thanks for taking up the challenge and in so doing, you have shown nothing is impossible in PTE. Regards, Colin
  13. Andrew, That was brilliant. I loved your night photographs with all the xmas lights. Great stuff and well done. Colin
  14. Hi Andrew, I enjoyed that immensely. A very novel way of portraying a beautiful city. As Mary mentioned, you have a great collection of photographs. Look forward to some more in the future. Colin
  15. Eric, A very good mixture of music and pictures, very well done, I enjoyed that. Colin
  16. Peter, That must have been frightning. Saw that parts of UK had high winds on Sky News. Colin
  17. Very cleverly done Lin, I can imagine the amount of work that went into the making of this and proof, as you said, PTE can handle almost anything. Colin
  18. Hi Eric, That was good old AVG
  19. Downloaded Barry's show. Did a scan of the file, no infections. As soon as I opened the file, BOOM! file is infected and had to quarantine and restart my PC. Colin
  20. Lin, Enjoyed that, thanks. May I ask what format was the video in as it is very clear? Colin
  21. My point is exactly what Lin has said. PTE will get a bad name out there from the hundred's of thousands who also use AVG. The problem should be dealt with by AVG and the sooner the better. The hoo ha about putting this problem to bed is probably the thought of those forum members who do not use AVG, but in my opinion, the problem is there and what better place to try and sort it out than this forum. I will not change to another anti virus programme and will hope that this problem can be sorted out. Thanks to Ken who I know has put in many hours testing for the benefit of forum members and to keep us informed of what is happening. Colin
  22. I have tried to save my older versions of PTE exe files in version 7.0 under another name and I am not able to as AVG brings up the Trojan virus warning. I attempted to contact AVG last night on their chat section and got no joy as I waited for over an hour with no answer. I would certainly load another internet security programme, but I am unfortunately "locked in" as I have just paid my years subscription for the 2012 version. Can someone please advise as to whether Igor has followed this up because in my opinion, there are many users of AVG out there who are going to get p.....ed of with this situation. Colin
  23. I have the paid 2012 version and this morning AVG has detected the virus in all my PTE exe files, the same as Ken reported. This is so frustrating. Colin
  24. Moises, Very well done, enjoyed that. Best wishes to you. Colin
  25. Mick, A vast improvement in my opinion, to your previous attempt. I am no expert at all in voice over, so cannot criticize the technical aspects. Colin
