  1. An audio visual with a difference. The images were taken from Google and some photoshop work done on a number of the images to create various effects. Hope you enjoy and criticism is welcome. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?9kktj9xhzu5uwon
  2. Davy, That was brilliant. The BW photos' I found to be very good and your imagination in creating them is outstanding. I am spending a lot of time on photoshop learning the ropes and techniques, hence very little AV work from my side. Will get into again though. Thanks for sharing, well done. Colin
  3. Lin, Nicely done, enjoyed the show immensely. Glad your bird made its appearance. Colin
  4. Barry, 1920 x 1080 Colin
  5. Davy, A very good light hearted slide show. Where did you get the pictures from to correspond with the words of the song? Thanks for sharing. Colin
  6. Hi Lin, Have downloaded the free version of VideoPad and find it to be fine for what I will need to do. Thank you for posting the link. Regards, Colin
  7. Hi Lin, Thanks for the information and explanations, very interesting. Have checked on internet for video editors and Adobe seems to be the one. Will do a bit more research and see what happens. Colin
  8. Patrick, I enjoyed your show very much with beautiful scenic photography. I agree, the music was perfect and fitted in with the mood of the show. Colin
  9. Peter, I enjoyed that immensely and a fitting tribute to the men and women who ventured into the unknown. Space and space travel has always fascinated me and I loved your ideas, very well done. The black cube was perfect on my screen. I agree with Jean-Cyprien, a short video of the space launch will be fantastic. Thanks for an excellent production. Colin
  10. Maureen, Your son Mark is to be congratulated on his excellent shots. He obviously has a good eye for photography. The waterfall and river shots were superb and I noticed that with some shots he got down low which gave the picture a good perspective. I also enjoyed his shots taken in the late afternoon. WELL DONE! Thank you for producing the slideshow on Marks' behalf and sharing with us. Colin
  11. Lin, That was excellent. This is the effect I would like to go for, when I get to start dabbling with video. I first need to obtain a programme that will extract portions of a video. At the moment do not know what programme will do this. Colin
  12. Davy, That was absolutely magnificent, WELL DONE!!!, I really enjoyed that. I can see a lot of work went into producing the show and you are to be congratulated. Cannot wait for the continuation. Colin
  13. Lin, I enjoyed the show and also the music. It is always a pleasure to put a show together for family or friends who appreciate it. Regards, Colin
  14. Davy, That show was absolutely magnificent in my humble opinion. The music was spot on and your pans were very good. Thanks so much for sharing. Colin
  15. Hi Barry, Thank you for your constructive comments. I have been looking at text and type in Photoshop and am still in the learning phase. I am hoping to use the varied styles, types of text available in future AV's. Never thought of the spacing aspect regarding insert images. Will bear your suggestions in mind in the future. Colin

  22. I have remade the AV "Tala Game reserve", thus cutting down on time and number of slides. I hope that anybody who viewed my original will find some small improvement. Thanks again to the guys who gave me some valuable crits on the original. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?qzawmrkz24sjv1h
  23. Hi Ken, David and Mick, Thank you so much for your constructive crits. I do agree with what you have mentioned and have therefore taken your points into account and have produced another AV which is much smaller and shorter. David P, I hope this will keep your attention span. My initial idea was to produce a show that showed the full package about this wonderful game reserve and which I had in mind when visiting this weekend and taking the photographs. However, this obviously did not work out and am quite happy to show what is the main players in a game reserve and that is the wonderful animals. I hope to complete the AV this evening and post before retiring to bed. Once again gentlemen, I appreciate you taking the time to crit my work. Thank you. Colin
  24. Situated in the rolling hills of Kwazulu Natal, about half an hours drive from the city of Durban, where I stay, is the magnificent Tala Game Reserve. The reserve has a wide variety of animals and birdlife and we spent a very pleasant day there. There are a number of lodges, from ultra luxurious to very rustic with the bare necessities and which are situated in the middle of the bush. The reserve also has a picnic spot with a swimming pool surrounded by natural rocks. Families can spend the day there and barbecue and swim. Comments are welcome. 25. Davy, "If you could try to use your talent to help, guide and encourage others,I'm sure it would be appreciated." This is what is needed on this forum. Very well said Davy. Newer members need this and I am sure can benefit from the experts opinion. Colin
