  1. Hi Dave, Thanks for the attachment. I was battling to get it right. I see what one should do. When closing the waveform and envelope tool box, I assume it has been saved within PTE. I will keep on trying and let you know. Colin
  2. Hi Dave, Thank you for the prompt reply. I will get onto that right away and let you know. Much appreciated. Colin
  3. Hi all, I wonder if anybody can assist me with the editing of music within version 7. I am busy with a very big project for an international organization called VATSIM which is an online virtual flying organization. I have been tasked to do an audio visual for the celebration of their 10th anniversary. The EXE file is 169mb, mainly due to 4 video clips which I have inserted. Each video clip has their own sound and what I want is for the music to fade before the beginning of the clip and then continue after the end of each clip. It does not sound right to have the sound of aircraft in the video clip mixed with the music playing. I do have to have this completed by the end of this week, so any assistance or advise would be appreciated. Colin
  4. I have just renewed my licenced copy of AVG to 2012, so will see what happens. Am presently working on a very big project in version 7 and have received the message once with my 2011 AVG version. Have made a zipped copy of this large file (115mb) and copied to my external hard drive. Colin
  5. Maureen, A superb presentation as usual with beautiful landscape photography. Your music added to the serenity and mood of the scenes. Another keeper for me. Thanks for sharing. Colin
  6. Eric, Good photography. Loved your sunset pictures. All in all, a good presentaion. Thanks for sharing Colin
  7. Igor, Thank you for your response. I downloaded version 7 with no problem. Colin
  8. Lin, Thank you for your suggestion. I cleared my cache and downloaded both from the forum and the Wnsoft website and I am still getting version 6.58 with a file size of 7.71mb. I will wait to see if anybody else has this problem or if Igor can solve the problem. Colin
  9. Had same problem as Gary. Downloaded with IE and also got version 6.5.8. Have tried a couple of times and keep getting same version. Also the file size is 7.71mb and not 12mb Colin
  10. Dave, Looks like you had some fun, very well done. I love animation and playing around with shapes etc. Colin
  11. Hi all, As an ardent rugby fan, I look forward to the start of the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand on 9 September. This is a short presentation which I quickly put together, nothing very special. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?12180u9tfqlq8c2
  12. Hi Eric, A very interesting collection of photographs which reflect the decay we all have in our cities unfortunately. The music, probably not to all our liking does suit the show. I would love to photograph the urban decay, filth and squaller in our city, but unfortunately would fear for my life, my camera and personal possessions, a fact of life in most of our cities in my country. Your granddaughter can be congratulated on her project. Thank you for sharing. Colin
  13. Hi Paul, Great close up shots and crystal clear. Looked like a lot of fun was had by all. I too liked the close up of the owl. I agree with Mick regarding the finish of the show. It would have been good to have the music fade and to have seen some end credits. Other than that, a great show. Thanks for sharing. Colin
  14. Thank you for the comments. Mick, The light was a bit harsh at times, but not too bad. You will note most of the animals were sleeping. This was because most had been fed and it was midday, obviously their sleeping time. This made it easier to photograph them. I too loved the baboons and chimps. They cuddled together because of the cold and to get some warmth. Paul, It was the typical Jo'burg winter weather when we were there. It was good to see some of the trees still had their leaves. Pity you did not get a chance to see the zoo. I was very impressed with it and you need a whole day to be able to see everything. Colin
  15. Mick, Enjoyed your presentation with very good photography and the music set the mood for the scenes. May I ask, were these taken off the coast of Turkey? I loved your sunset pictures. Well done and thanks for sharing. Colin
  16. Hi all, On our visit to Johannesburg earlier this month to visit friends, the kids wanted to visit the Johannesburg Zoo. The last time I visited the zoo, must have been over 40 years ago. I was very impressed with the variety of animals, including the "big five" and the birds. We had a very enjoyable day there and this presentation consists of photographs I took on our visit. Keyboard control has been enabled. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?1bhrhktnfv5yxgq
  17. An excellent show with good macro photography. There certainly were not too many images and I enjoyed the way you blurred out the backgrounds to highlight the main subject. Well done and thanks for sharing Colin
  18. Thank you for your kind comments. As a lover of aviation, I was in my element being amongst all the aircraft and standing right next to them when they were taxiing to the runway. Ken, The shot of the explosion you were referring to. This was a stunt and was very good. The guy in his cessna flew low over the bushes and the explosion went off sending flames into the air. He just managed to miss the explosion and veered off (as in the photo) and shot up into the air. Mick, Thank you for your comments and I think anybody who has been connected with the aviation industry would enjoy any airshow. Eric, So glad you were able to download and watch the presentation. I agree with you, the yak aircraft is beautiful. The pilot in the no.1 aircraft, which you saw close ups of is a highly experienced pilot, astronaut and Airbus A-380 captain. The camera I use is a Pentax X70 with a 24X optical zoom lens, nothing special. The photos' were taken at ISO speed 100 and the f-stops varied, but most were at f-7.1. The exposure times varied depending on the light, subject etc. Colin
  19. The Virginia Airshow has been going for over 40 years. It is held at the Virginia airfield on the coast just outside my home city, Durban. This year I was privelaged to have been given a VIP pass which enabled me to freely walk amonst all the aircraft and photograph what ever I wanted. There were no restrictions and I was even able to virtually walk up to the runway. I mamaged to photograph the aircraft close up and check out the cockpits and speak to the pilots themselves. This presentation is a record of my exciting day and of the aircraft that took part in the show. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?ojcuhg8c77of38f
  20. Maureen, Another superb show with great shots. Always look forward to viewing your shows. My "Lakelandlass" folder is getting pretty full now. Colin
  21. John, As an artillery man and having served part time for 30 years in the artillery, I found your presentation very interesting' Well done for your first effort and look forward to more from you. Colin
  22. Barry, Short and sweet.....a superb masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed it and excellent photography along with the music. Colin
  23. Hi Maureen, What can I say. Another superb presentation with music to compliment the mood of your beautiful clear pictures. Well done, and another keeper for me to add to your collection. Thanks for sharing and to Bill for hosting. Colin
  24. Hi everyone, Thank you for the comments and the debate on the artifacts. To clarify matters, most of the pictures are my own, and as I said, some were from my Google library. What I did for the black and white shots, was use photoshop, saved them and used them in the presentation. It is good that members have a keen eye and can point out small irregularities, which I must admit, I did not notice. Thank you DG for pointing this out. Thank you Lin for the tips which I will blur out on photoshop. I will take the same pictures and correct in photoshop and see what the result is. I do appreciate everybody's input and debate on this matter. Thank you, Regards, Colin
  25. Hi Davy, The same goes for me. I have promised myself to get back into it and have another in the pipeline, though I do not think it will be everybody's cup of tea as it will be of the fantastic airshow I attended on Saturday. I have found the forum to be fairly quiet as I do pop in everyday to see what is on offer and what is going on. Colin
