I started this audio visual/project a couple of months ago and finally decided that I must complete it, so here it is. The slide show consists of a number of short interludes if you want to call them, each part of a dream. I must stress that there is no story, no beginning no end. I decided to include animation in the slide show, after a had learnt a little about photoshop which I recently acquired. Thanks to Lin for assisting me in extracting objects and saving them as PNG files. I am aware that this might not be of interest to forum members, but I hope that those who watch it will see it as a learning curve for me, both in photoshop and animation. I am hoping to expand on this and animated 3D in PTE. Comments are welcome, but please do bear in mind what I have said above. This is purely an experiment for me which I would like to share with you. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?d9u2leva9cau6fl

Davy, Thanks so much for your constructive comments. There sure could be room for improvement. I do so enjoy your humour and had a good chuckle. I have also had a good chuckle over previous threads. It is so good having members adding their bit and reading the replies. One sure does need a good sense of humour and I am sure many members have displayed this. Ken, I had a good chuckle at your reply to Eric. Thanks for that. Lin, Read your reply to Xaver at 5.30am this morning. It put a grin on my face, a good start to the day! Once again, thanks to all who have commented, whether positive or negative. Colin

Hi Lin, Nicely done. I am still amazed at what can be produced. Your demo's sure have been an inspiration to many of the forum members. Thanks for showing. Colin

To all the forum members above who commented, a very big thank you. I am relieved and heartened that your comments came across in a positive way. As was mentioned in my post, interpretation was a big factor in this slide show. The way I looked at this show could be vastly different to how other members perceived it to be. I think this holds true to any show that any one of us post for others to view. What we may think is a masterpiece, others may view differently. This is where constructive criticism comes in and could be very useful in eventually producing that masterpiece that everyone agrees on. Mick P I appreciate your comments. Your perception at the time of viewing was different to that of others. I must admit that I have viewed the show a number of times and my views still hold. Your honesty is appreciated. I have a lot of ideas for future shows with animation. I know this is not everybody's cup of tea, but I enjoy using my imagination and expressing it in producing shows with this wonderful product and all that it can do. Colin

A short while ago I received a collection of pictures which were from various sources. These pictures really impressed me from an artistic point of view and I decided to take these and incorporate them into graphics from Apothysis which Lin Evans recommended in one of the threads in this forum. What I came up with was a collection of artistic pictures. This was done by using mask in PTE and blending the pictures in with the graphics. Some opacity was used in some of the pictures. WARNING: This show contains significant nudity, though very artistic in nature. If this offends you, PLEASE do not download and watch. I view this as an artistic experience and it is up to those who would like to view it to come up with their own interpretation. This has not been shown in any way to offend anybody from this forum. This slide show has been viewed by the forum moderators who have given me the go ahead to post, but with the stern warning notice. If anybody would like me to provide the link for MAC users, please let me know. http://www.mediafire.com/?napq97ovvx1ecgc

Hi Lin, Very good effects. I have a lot of ideas regarding animation, just to put them into practice. Thank you for showing what can be done in so short a time and for sharing with us. Colin

Hi David P, Thank you for affording us members to see what can be done with digidaub3. I have downloaded all your versions and I appreciate your efforts and for allowing us to download each of your versions. Look forward to more. Regards, Colin

Snapcam, I hope lions do not run across my garden. Fortunately they are rare in our part of the woods. Thank you for your comments. David P, I was so lucky to have had this on my doorstep and to have spotted the monkeys in our neighbourhood. These pictures I took with my not so powerful lens through our lounge window and I could not believe what I was seeing. The monkeys came across into our garden and I was able to take pictures of them from our kitchen back door. We often get visits from the monkeys and I often watch them passing through the complex where we live. They do their own thing and we all leave them alone and let nature take its course. Thank you so much for your comments, much appreciated. Regards, Colin

Hi Eric, Thought of you when I saw the slide show was under 20mb. I agree with your comments, thank you. As I said, it was never my intention to show this publicly, but as I have not posted anything for some time, thought why not. I have other slide shows I have produced, but these will remain on my PC for the time being. I may just tweek them a bit before deciding to show. Regards, Colin

This slide show has been lying on my PC for some time now as I have been reluctant in the past to share. I was very lucky one Saturday morning to have spotted a troop of monkeys in my garden. I watched them making their way over to a tree full of weaver bird nests. They then proceeded to raid the nests whilst the birds frantically tried to stop them from eating their eggs and whatever they had in the nests. The slide show is not of my best, has borders round the pictures and has animation in the beginning and the end. I mention this because I know there are critics of borders and animation, so be fore-warned. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?rad3tm8d1m9w730

Really enjoyed the show, very well thought out and tells a good story in a short space of time. I have a sequence of photo's of monkeys attacking weaver birds nests in a tree. If time permits, will try put something together. Thanks for sharing. Colin

Bernard, Beautiful night shots. I loved your shots of the sail boats mast all lit up from different angles. I could not fault you on a lot of your pictures and perfect exposure. Well done, Colin

Hi Lin, Thank you for your excellent presentation. Never had much chance to look at the bikes though I always enjoy your snow globe presentations and this will be added to your others I have saved. Colin

Davy, I agree, some heavy images. I remember your earlier version. Many of the slides tell a story, the one that sticks out for me is the little girl sitting on the railway line. All in all, very well put together. Well done and thanks for sharing. By the way, my man size tissues are now finished. Regards, Colin

Hi Maureen, Another of your excellent shows. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Your photography is outstanding. Happy 2011 to you and your family (30 minutes to go to 2011 here) Colin

Bernard, A superb presentation. The branches with the snow appeared to jut out from my screen with my 3D glasses. An excellent piece of work. Well done. Colin

Thank you to all who replied and offered their assistance. I opened version 6.5, pressed on "load key", went to the folder I had saved it in and pressed open. I then closed PTE and reopened it and all is working. I then went to my version 5.6, opened it and that too was working. I hope that this helps Peter. I am now a happy chappy. Best regards, Colin

Hi Peter, Thanks for your reply. Will try with the latest downloaded version that I have, which is version 6.5 and see what happens. I will report back on my results. Regards, Colin

Thank you Eric for the reply. Ken is right, my registry was wiped out when my c drive was formatted. As you can see, Alena has sent me the keys via email which I have received. I have replied and thanked Alena. I did ask Alena in my reply to her this question and will ask here on the forum as well, and excuse my ignorance: "Do I load the key into my original version 5.6 which I purchased?" I have downloaded subsequent versions 6 and 6.5 which are backed up on my external hard drive. Can the key be loaded into say version 6.5.? As I said, please excuse my complete ignorance on this. Looking forward to advise and answers before I do anything. Colin

On Friday 17 December, I sent Igor and Wnsoft an email requesting my activation key for my PTE and Video Build. I explained to Igor that my whole c drive was formatted and windows 7 32 bit was installed. I had back ups of my c drive and my e drive, so still have the original version 5.6 when I purchased in May 2009. However, the company did not back up my emails, so lost my copies of emails with the activation keys and order No's. I also had on a disk which I have desperately tried to find, but cannot. All that I have, as we all know, when I open my PTE, is the 30 day trial. I sent an email from this version to Wnsoft requesting my keys. To date I have not heard from them. I have checked my spam mail and junk mail and there is nothing there. Please could Wnsoft or Igor assist. Thank you, Colin Hill

Ken, MickP and Daniel, Thank you for your responses. It is good that we can all pause for 2 minutes on the 11th hour of the 11th November and think of the men and women in uniform doing their duty in all parts of the world. Colin
