  1. A presentation that hopefully reflects some "delights" of the south of turkey on the Mediterranean coast. 22.27mb 32 slides 4min 9sec 1920 x 1080 Keyboard control is active. http://www.mediafire.com/?44ueo98zs9gb497
  2. Ken, Thanks for your comments. Initially I was pleased with my sunset shots. I thought the composition was good, but the more I look at them, the more I feel I could have done better. The sunset shots were taken whilst I was on a sunset/night tour of the town of Side, and time was short as the party still had to walk a distance into Side to have supper at a restaurant whilst the sun was setting. I therefore took these shots on auto and hoped for the best. Colin
  3. The Temple of Apollo is situated on the outskirts of the town of Side (See-day) on the mediterranean coast of Turkey. The temple is in the Corinthian order and has remaining 6 x 11 columns, over which is a spectacular frieze with Medusa heads. The south and southwest facades of the building was restored in 1980. It is said that Mark Anthony proposed to Cleopatra at this temple and for the romantic types, a visit to the temple at sunset is a must. 10.55mb 21 slides 2min 55 sec 1920 x 1080 Any comments welcome http://www.mediafire.com/?k5vk2gxbpf2r5c4
  4. George, Ken and Rick, Thank you for your kind comments. Really enjoyed the day we spent there and as you said, Ken, the gardens are immaculate and well maintained. Colin
  5. This magnificent garden is situated in the grounds of Arundel Castle, West Sussex. It was opened up by HRH the Prince of Wales on 14th May 2008. The garden is a light-hearted tribute to Thomas Howard, 14th Earl of Arundel, known as "The Collector". It has been designed by Isabel and Julian Bannerman and has been conceived as a Jacobean formal garden. It is in fact an imaginative re-creation of what the "Collector" Earl's formal garden may have been like at Arundel House, his town palace overlooking the Thames in London. Hope you enjoy this short presentation. 19.11mb 20 slides 2mins 30 sec 1920 x 1080 Any comments welcome. Keyboard control is active. Colin http://www.mediafire.com/?shrk8f3uzh6l9zs
  6. Daniel, Thank you very much, I do appreciate it. Colin
  7. George, Ken and Patrick, Thank you for your comments. It is such a pity, as we all know, photography is not allowed in places such as Arundel Castle, as the interior was very interesting with some of the rooms decorated with the original furniture of the period. The gardens of the castle are magnificent and my next AV will hopefully show this. Colin
  8. One of the most interesting places we visited in England last month, was the town of Arundel, situated in West Sussex. Arundel dates back to the 11th century and is situated on the Arun River. Arundel Castle overlooks the town and was first constructed in 1068. The castle was founded by Roger de Montgomery and has changed hands many times over the centuries. There have been many construction phases to the castle over the period of time and a distinction can be made between the old original castle and the most recent. It is the home of the Duke of Norfolk, the present being the 18th Duke of Norfolk who resides in the castle as did all the previous Duke's of Norfolk. 22.15mb 27 slides 3 mins 15 sec 1920 x 1080 Please feel free to make any comment you wish. 11. Mark, Stunning slideshow with superb photography. Hope all goes well with your talk and presentation. Colin
  12. Ken and Andrew, Thank you for your positive comments. My next AV is being produced at present and hopefully will post in a day or two. Regards, Colin
  13. MickP, Thank you for your comments. I did try and redo the AV, but the piece of music was only 3mins 20secs in length and lengthening the duration of some slides meant that I would have run out of music. I could have restarted the piece of music I suppose. However some sound criticism from you and Patrick which I will take note of. I have a number of AV's which I am producing at present from our holiday in England and Turkey, so will time the slides and hopefully lengthen for more viewing time and hopefully in time with the music. The piece of music is from an old album of mine entitled "Love Themes made famous by the Movies" and all 24 songs are orchestral. Regards, Colin
  14. Hi Patrick, Thank you for watching and your comments. I do agree, the last 2 slides I had reservations about using and yes they are not of the same standard as the other slides. I do appreciate your comments which have been noted. Thank you, Colin
  15. On our trip to England last month, we visited a number of towns and places and I was inspired by the beautiful autumn colours in the gardens and parks. The trees and leaves were best in the late day when the sun was setting and I tried to capture this. 26.8mb 3mins 18 sec 31 slides 1920 x 1080 Any comments welcome. 16. George and Ken, Thanks for your comments. I bet San Francisco and New Orleans can offer the same, would love to visit these places. Andrew, Put on top of your list. Offers a good days outing. Colin
  17. On our recent trip to England, we paid a visit to Camden Town in London. It was a bank holiday Monday in August and the town was packed with visitors and tourists. Camden Town is the most fascinating place to visit and comes highly recommended. In walking the streets, I came across weird and wonderful people down alleys off the High Street and on the pavements. I was able to take pictures and capture these people. I was warned not to take pictures of the Goths and if you do, you must gain their permission and trust and pay them. I tried to sneak a picture of a group and nearly got smacked and sworn at. The Market place at Camden Lock has a wide variety of shops and in my opinion, a photographers dream place. It is hoped you enjoy what I thought to be fascinating through my lens. Any comments are welcome. Warning: pictures of weird people. 40 slides 1920 x 1080 4mins 14 sec 27.3mb http://www.mediafire.com/?dqdr4ti0m1ogc33

  24. Thank you Ken and Rick for your positive comments. I really enjoyed the afternoon walking along the promenade, though it was rather windy. Colin
  25. To all who have commented, thank you. This took a lot of work and time and the total slides ended up at 90. There are so many possibilities with P2E and all one has to do is use their imagination. Colin
