  1. Mark, It was a pleasure to see beautiful very careful compost landscape images of this for me unfamiliar place. Great black & white's too. Why the way it ended, I did not get it. Thanks for showing Bert
  2. Hi Ray, I was glad that I could download your show on a second try. I liked the subject, and your poem and the music gave it a nice atmosphere. Thanks for showing Bert
  3. Download does not work, the only thing I get is lots of advertisements from Media Fire Bert
  4. Hi Yachtsman1, I have PTE version 7.5.8 and I have the box "show navigation bar" ticket Bert
  5. Hi Dave, My media player is in my DVD player. It has an USB port and I have played MP4 slideshows with that. But they where all automatic. I can play an automatic MP4 show with the play and pause button of the remote control. I tried to make this MP4 from a PTE file that has all the slide durations set at 10 sec. I had also ticket the box, "wait for key press to show next file". When I tried to make the MP4, the video builder freezes, and I have to force shut down the computer. I tried the same file with the box "wait for key press to show next file" un-ticket, but the video player froze again. When I go in the task manager, every time there are 2 media players shown, and both say "Video Builder not running". I have made many MP4 files from PTE shows, (never from a manual show) and had never any freezing before. There is no zooming or panning in this show, only a few different dissolves and two music pieces with the sound at zero procent. I am going to take the music out at my next try, as it is not necessary. Regards, Bert
  6. Thank you all for your comments. If I understand it correctly, there is now way to make an MP4 file of my slideshow, where you can forward the images with manual control. Regards, Bert
  7. Hi, I have made a PTE file with automatic transformations and converted that to MP4 to play on my TV. This file plays fine. I made also a PTE file with "wait for key press to show next file" because I need to give commentary by these images. I like to play this one also on my TV, but when I try to make a MP4 of this file, Video builder friezes and can not be shut down. I have to force shut my computer. I know that I can play the individual Jpeg images on my computer, and advance them with the remote from the TV. But because they are in the right order already in the PTE file, I like to make a MP4 file, and advance the images with my remote control. My question is, is there a computer conflict to make this MP4, or is it an PTE conflict. Bert
  8. Hi Lin, I just played all your "Water" shows, some have more appeal than others but the water movement is all of them is very realistic. And as you said the menu with a moving background makes it interesting.. Thanks for showing. Bert
  9. A show made from a template that Morasoft, provided for free on the forum. 1920x1080, 3m.8s. 34K Enjoy
  10. Hi Maureen, I have watched your show twice now and think it is one of your best. I don't save a lot of shows on my computer, but this one I did. Thanks for showing it. Bert
  11. I had a change to play the EXE and MP4 files on a newer laptop. The EXE file plays not as well and is of less quality than the MP4 file. I hope Igor is working on a solution. Bert
  12. Hi Morasoft, I knew I could modify the background image in a photo editing program, but I thought it was maybe possible in to do it in PTE, like I could do in the BW show. I will play with it. Thanks, Bert
  13. Hi Moisés I changed the image in Hysteria1 for the show and that is now the constant background image, what I wanted. I don't find a way to change the opacity of this background image in the Hysteria PTE file. Can you tell me where to find that? Thanks, Bert_
  14. Hi Moisés Thanks for your B&W template, I made the show with 5 pictures and also turned the opacity in the background to around 21%. I think that with all the movement of the frames, a changing background is still to busy and most of the times the background is not visible anyhow. I like to see one not changing picture in the background, related to the show, and easy adjustable for opacity. Can you tell me, in Hysteria(1), with a constant background, which is the picture to change the background, or does the background has to change in all pic01 to pic25? Here is the 5 picture BW background show. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12297675/BW%20show.exe Thanks for your help. Bert
  15. Hi Morasoft, I liked the Hysteria template and made a little show with it. I tried also your Hysteria2 for this same show, I prefer the template Hysteria2, but for this show,I found the background became to distracting with only 45% opacity, and I do not know how I could make the opacity less. It would also be nice if the background could be the picture at low opacity and black & white. Here is a show made with Hysteria(1). https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12297675/Rodeo%202013.zip Thanks for sharing these great templates.
  16. Hi Don, I liked your show very much, the great images with the reading of the poem and the ticking clock, made for a thoughtful AV show. Thanks for showing.
  17. Hi lin, Your method worked, smooth video in the new EXE. I hope Igor is going to find a solution for this, and for playing AVCHD video smooth in the converter also. Outside all the time it cost, the files become very big. The original PTE file included 3 minutes of converted video is 225KB. The EXE file from this (with not good playing video) is 846KB. The MP4 made from the PTE file is 1624KB and the EXE made from the converted MP4 is 1691KB. I have to play this show at my camera club on an older laptop (not in my possession) and projector, I wonder what will play better, the 1624KB MP4 with the Classic Home Media Player, or the 1691KB EXE. Thanks for your help, Bert
  18. Hi Lin, I see what I did wrong, I put the MP4 file direct in the slide list and made an EXE. I see that you convert the MP4 first, do you use the "normal settings" (quality 50%)for converting the MP4? Is there any degradation? Regards, Bert
  19. Hi Lin, I did the following, Started a new project, made screen to 16:9, and went to the place where my MP4 was stored (former project), and put the MP4 in the new project slide list. Then I clicked on publish show for PC. The result does not work well. I did not even came to the videos because the images change without dissolves, sometimes there are 2 images over each other etc.. The EXE is now the same size as the MP4 and twice the size of the original EXE. Can you tell me how you do it? Thanks, Bert
  20. I have converted and trimmed two of my AVCHD videos in the PTE converter, I have made a slide show of 14 min. with one video of 1 min. and one video of 2 min. The videos play fine in the PTE file. I have made an EXE and a MP4 file from the PTE file. The strange thing is that in the MP4 file, when played with Media player Classic Home, the videos play fine and smooth. When I play the EXE file of the show, the videos play not smooth but with some hesitation. Is there a difference in computer use, when videos are played in the PTE file or in the EXE file? What could be the difference that the same videos play O.K. in PTE but not smooth when made to an EXE file. My computer has 8mb of ram, and the graphics card is "(on board) AMD Radeon 6530D, 512mb. Bert
  21. Hi Terry, I just watched your show, and you show a lot of wizardry in your presentation. For me that did not work, your pictures are to good to just fly by, and the emphasis became more on the movement of your images than the images itself. I would have liked to see the images longer on the screen, but different from Ken, I don't like to stop a show, as that takes out flow of a show I think. Regards, Bert
  22. Hi Morasoft, I just downloaded and played with my own pictures, your amazing template. It must have been a lot of work to make this template, thanks for sharing this with us. Regards, Bert
  23. Nice little show Lin, the picture was so clear and sharp, was that taken with your Sigma Merrill? Thanks, Bert
  24. When I had a color cast on my pictures in PTE last October, and asked about it on the forum. Somebody gave me this advice on the forum. It seems the colours are inverted, i.e. the orange colours of rust are turned blue, and the blue writing on the back wall has turned orange. These colours are spectral opposites, so I think your problem is the colour space the images are in. You need to load the images into Photoshop or similar and ensure that the colour space is sRGB, which PTE is set up for. If you are shooting for slide shows you should be taking the shots in sRGB, not AdobeRGB
  25. Hi Dave, I have all my images sized to 1920 x 1080 and I want the videos in the show to have the same 16:9 aspect ratio. Thanks for the info about the MPEG4, I did not know that only the video portion that is shown on the screen will be part of the output MPEG4. I still would like to know the reason that my Sony AVCHD file format does not play well in PTE, (is it my computer or PTE?). Are there other persons who's videos are in this AVCHD format. I know Igor has a Sony camera. Bert
